I'm never rethinking my yoga pants/baggy sweats look.... Esp after I have a baby. Kate Middleton eat your heart out! Also my advice to moms..... So your husband doesn't have to run to the store. Pack extra yoga pants/sweats in case you pass a large clot or bleed through.
We're bringing a couple onesies and a sleeper to choose from depending on the weather, plus socks and a hat with mittens :x For me I packed a v-neck black maxi dress - it's comfy, chic, and easy to nurse in. And, of course, I have the nursing bra & nursing pads situation handled Thank God for Target, their nursing bras are so comfortable and cheap!
I know it seems a bit silly :-) yet I had planed to just grab something for her in a few sizes Aswell and then was told by the hospital that it had to be cotton/footed/long sleeved/with mittens and God forbid I forget a hat lol which has made me put a little more thought into it. But hey! It's just clothes and really if I was the newborn I'd prefer some comfy pjs
Planning on bringing him home in this. I have grey pants, mittens, and booties too. It's newborn size, so I'll bring some back ups I case it's too small
We haven't got lo's coming home outfit yet but the one thing I did with my first and plan on doing again was I bought a shadow picture frame and put the outfit and a picture of her in her outfit. It's just for memories and it makes me remember how tiny they are and how fast they grow.
I have a neighbourhood lady that takes coming home outfits and makes them into teddy bears for the lo after they outgrow the outfit. Totally doing this!
