Twin girl names help!!!

i am due in 4 weeks and well with twins it really could be any day now and I just am having so much trouble deciding on names. It's just me so I don't have a person who has to agree and honestly I swear that is making it harder...

The middle names will be Meliea and D'Nae after people!

So I'm looking for first name help...

I love the name Selah and I am pretty sure I am set on that name...

These are some of the names I like as well but I'm just not sure....

Kennedy
Harlow
Hadley
Sloane

Re: Twin girl names help!!!

  • I like Selah and Sloane. I've alwYs loved the name Sloane.

  • Selah is so pretty and feminine. All the other choices, though nice, are too masculine with Selah.

  • Selah D'Nae and...

From your list I'd say Sloane, but I don't care for any of them with Selah.

Other first name suggestions that I think fit the style of Selah better:

    Yael Meliea
    Arielle Meliea
    Esther Meliea
    Naomi Meliea
  • Selah is nice, the others all fall very very short of Selah.

    Selah and
    Abigail
    Adara
    Adamina
    Adira
    Bethany
    Dara
    Delilah
    Jael
    Judith
    Leah
    Miriam
    Naomi
    Tamar
    Tabitha
    Zera
  • I don't like any of your other names and they don't seem to match in style with Selah, but as much as I'm not a fan of Sloane, It think it's better than the rest.
    Seleah D'Nae
    Sloane Meliea

  • I love pp suggestions of Arielle, Yael, Tamar & Adira. I'd go with a more feminine name to match Selah and your MN choices - they are beautiful. The FNs you gave don't match the pretty IMO! Other ideas: Alexis, Ava, Zoe, Chloe, Jade. Good luck!
  • Dont like any of your other choices
    Selah needs a better partner
  • To echo those above, Selah is lovely. The other names on your list just don't measure up. Some great suggestions above! Especially like Delilah and Naomi.

Selah is very pretty, I don't think the others really compare....if pair Selah with D'Nae

    Selah D'Nae and Carys Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Elowen Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Esme Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Corrine Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Leona Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Elin Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Demi Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Jolie Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Adele Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Annalise Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Eloise Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Adeline Meliea
    Selah D'Nae and Juliet Meliea
  • Thank you everyone for your input... I love the name Selah so much it's been hard to find a name to pair well that I love just as much...

I really like Delilah but I don't think it sounds good with Meliea and its to matchy with selah.

I saw Carys on another board and I really like the sound of it but not sure if I like the look of it?! Any suggestions similar to Carys?

What about Cara? Not overused, goes well with Selah. Simple and lovely.
  • Cara
    Cora
    Corinne
    Celeste
    Charis (greek version of Carys)
  • Cherise, Cerise, Chantelle, Caryn, Celeste
  • I like Selah with Harlow or Hadley. I like Sloane too, but wouldn't do same letter for twins. I love Carys and Corrine too. Selah and Corrine is a fantastic pair!
  • Love Carys! Great match with Selah.

  • I still feel so stuck on sloane. But Carys is growing on me... It's weird how a name just feels right and it's hard to get that feeling again.... I thought I would see their names and just know... But I'm running out of time and I'm still stuck. Selah D'Nae is so pretty to me that I want my other baby to have an equally pretty name... But I just don't know what it is yet....
  • I think Selah and Carys would make a beautiful pair! If you don't like the spelling, you could go for Carice? It's the name of an actress in Game of thrones, I'm not sure how legit the spelling really is.

What about Hannah. Does having them both end in an ah? Sound to matchy? Do they not go well together.
  • I think Hannah sounds fine with Selah, but I'm not sure about Hannah Meliea.

I think Sloane goes better with Selah. It's also a better name than Sage.
