further along or twins?

I went to the dr today and they did an exam. They are saying i could be further along. Is it possible to feel like you are further along if you are having twins? Hopefully i will know for sure tomorrow after my ultrasound or i will have to wait ONE WEEK to hear it from the dr. Help!

    My doctor also muttered something about "possibly being further along". And the twin idea occurred to me and I was like ACK.

    I have to wait WEEEEKS to find out so I'm going to lose my miiiiind.
    Is heartily apologizing to her child in advance for genes that predispose them to shitty vision and being Too Damn Tall.

    What made them say you were further along? I know you said exam, but was that a u/s or HCG #s? Just curious as to what they saw/made them comment on that.

    I am not to sure she just felt my uterus and said she thinks i maybe further along. When i went to the er on the 19th for kidney pain my hcg levels were over a quarter million the PA said which i have no idea what that is. But we will see tomorrow is my u/s

    If your uterus feels large for gestational age, that could be a good indicator for twins.

    How far along did they thinK you are? I haven't really heard a doctor being able to feel your uterus and make that judgment this early. The uterus isn't above the pubic bone until at least 12 weeks... I think that a transvaginal ultrasound would be a better indicator.

    You'll know with an u/s, she should have just done one then! Why wait a day? I found out I was having twins last time at 6w3d. They didn't do an exam first though or suspect anything.

    Oh my goodness. How exciting :D I am 8wks as of yesterday and my belly seems to be showing a bit much for 8wks I started thinking I might be further along than I calculated. My husband keeps joking that it's probably twins. :x hmmmm well I can't wait to here what they find out. Good luck :)

    I am 8 weeks pregnant and had my first ultrasound today. TWINS!! They pushed me back to 6 weeks and 5 days.

    Good luck. I wish I had more information on my baby/babies and I can't even get information on here because it won't let me choose a file to attach my ultrasound picture to and my icon is really small to really be able to see anything
