  • Has anyone done the "peel and stick" wallpaper from target? Is it really removeable? We can't paint, but they have a really cute gray chevron pattern that would go perfectly with my navy/gray nautical theme!
  • I got it at usa rugs.com I got it a couple of years ago. It didn't fit in the other room, so it has been in storage. But works perfectly for our son's room.
  • @smithhomeport We used peel and stick wallpaper from spoonflower.com. I imagine it is similar to the ones they sell at Target. It was really easy to apply and comes right off the wall if you want to reposition or move it. Soo much better than traditional wallpaper. :-)
  • @wheresmybelly Love the wood wall. I'm doing one too. I considered using planks or barnwood but chickened out and bought stikwood when they had a sale. I haven't had it installed yet. What did you use?

  • I used stikwood! It's very easy :)
  • We just moved into our new house on Sunday and already I am in ultra nesting mode! Here is the progress on newest arrival's room!
  • Just finished putting it all together last night! The only thing I really wanted was the wall color (aqua blue) and a few beach themed items! I didn't want it to be too over the top "theme-ey". We do have a rocker in there (below the 3 wall decorations) but when I took the pictures, my husband was fixing the broken arm. (It's a hand-me-down). LOVE how it turned out!! I hope the little man loves it too! :)
  • We are doing a multi color 3d butterfly theme with a huge cherry blossom tree covering one wall...the only thing is we can't decide on a color for the walls

I was wondering the same! I can't paint my walls and I'm going to use some so I really hope they don't leave a mark behind. Also, have you checked out Etsy!? I'm also doing a nautical theme and they have TONS of cute nautical stickers on there !

I bought wall stickers from mywonderfullwalls.com  Not wallpaper, but you can get lots of themed stuff there, and I found it cheaper than Etsy.  I went with jungle safari. (posted in the May boards, just creeping here.  :)  )
  • We are doing a teal and gray themed baby room for our little guy. Our walls are a teal/Aqua color, slate crib, gray and white chevron bedding and curtain, along with gray closets.

Where did you get the stickers under his name? I LOVE them!
  • We still have some shelves to put up but for the most part we're done. :)
  • All these are so gorgeous! We went with a grey and white 'woodland' theme, with green and yellow accents (even though we know we are having a boy). Still have to put up some bunting and artworks and am gunna get a mobile from Esty. Have loved doing this room so much, it's the cleanest one in the house, not for much longer lol!

  • baby is sharing a room with us, so this is the only part of the room we have set up. out theme is kind of sheep i guess. i bought the big stuffed one on a whim at like 18 weeks.
  • Thanks! Yes.. My husband cut it down in our backyard and made sure it was bug free :) I just added the little flowers and fun details .. And it's very sturdy he hung from it just to be sure !!

Nursery progress so far! I still have a long way to go - a few fairy pictures to put up, plus the canvases that my sister made, which she's going to give to me this weekend when I'm home for my baby shower. I'd like to get a rocking chair and some more storage stuff before LO arrives, too.

The room doubles as our guest room, which I'm actually really happy about because the extra bed means that if LO is sick I can sleep in there with her. Furniture doesn't really match, but MIL bought the crib and the bed and dresser are hand-me-downs from my parents, so can't complain! It's all in great condition! :)

ETA Oh, and the canvas totes are my "browsing bins" for her little library. This is something I adopted from my library classes; they're more accessible for babies than book shelves are, and there's no danger of her pulling books down on top of her head.

  • This is all I have so far.. We just moved as well and so my priority has been trying to get the rest of our house at least halfway unpacked. Also DH works 10-12 hours night shift an hour away so it's up to the 8 month baby belly pregnant FTM to have the energy to get stuff done. Needless to say "nesting" hasn't set in yet... Family friend made the bedding (sheets are being washed as we speak) and the chandelier came from overstock. Her changing table will actually be my kitchen buffet painted and repurposed.

I'm also waiting on two more showers before I actually unpack her little baby things.. I am in need of a closet organizing system. Been looking at lowes so hopefully I will get that installed this week... Due date is June 1st so.... Less than 35 days to get it done... Yikes!! Finished pics to follow (eventually)
  • bride92310 our little boy's name is going to be Blake as well :)
So cute to see it on the wall!
  • @dirtymartini that nursery is absolutely gorgeous and makes me feel like an absolute terrible decorator!!! Lol
  • Still not finished but it is coming together nicely.
  • This is only the crib part. I still have a lot to do!
  • Pretty much done, we are waiting until she comes to name her but we plan on putting her name above the crib.

Here is the twin girls' room. All complete just need them here :) we ended up doing purple and grey then people stared buying us a lot of owl stuff, so it kinda headed in that direction!
  • Finally coming together! Just waiting for the changing table to arrive so I can de-clutter.
  • Paint went on last week with one more coat to do. My god. I'm due in 6 weeks and 3 days and y'all are so far ahead! We have everything together but it's all in piles in the spare room until we get the new carpet put in (we needed a new window, to fill in holes in the wall, a floorboard replaced, the list goes on! Shower is this weekend so I was just waiting for that to be over just in case. Now I'm worried!!
  • These seriously look amazing! Martha Stewart Nursery services, where are you? I feel like I'm out of time!

@Westypet I know..... I'm kind of embarrassed of my pics I posted now...... Wow. It looks so shabby compared to these beautiful nurseries!
