Kudos to all the nurses and teachers! Very difficult work and not enough praise for what you do!
I am a Workforce Client Planning Manager, I analyze and advise long term financial and staffing direction for 5 US call centers and one in Panama. Fortunately it is a work at home job so I will hopefully be able to save on childcare costs by keeping baby close by at all times
I'm also a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. Fortunately I with kids so there's not lot of heavy lifting! It's always easy to get all the potty breaks need though!!
I'm a live chat operator and work from home. The only lifting I do is pulling up my pj's and pressing buttons on the remote to watch Netflix Just kidding! Well, now I'm dragging the laptop with me constantly to pee.
I am a project coordinator for vehicle engineering with a transportation authority. No heavy lifting but I do have to travel. I leave for Spain on Sunday for 2 weeks. I think this will be my last long distance trip for a bit!
I'm a massage therapist. No heavy lifting but long hours on my feet, it's a tough job when you're 9 months pregnant. This time (DD is 1) I will have to be induced at 37 weeks and most likely it'll be a c-section so I'm hoping to work right up until the end.
I'm a stay at home mom now, but with baby #1 I was still working as a teacher. I suffered from Hyperemesis during that pregnancy and appendicitis at 24 wks so I had to quit working early. Hoping this go around is a little smoother
I work for a luxury hotel doing meeting and event sales/planning. I sit a lot most days doing emails and paperwork. And I try to take it easy when the events happen.
I'm a fine dining restaurant manager. Like some others here- lots of long hours (12-15 hour days) on my feet. Finding time and forcing myself to take breaks and rest has been the hardest thing so far.
I'm a Makeup Artist. I freelance and also work for Sephora. I'm dreading being 9 hours on my feet today! I'm afraid I'll be in the middle of a makeup consultation and will all of a sudden need to throw up!
I work for a health insurance company. Provider Resoloution Specialist. I work from home and sit at a computer all day but I do have an almost 3 year old who is almost 40 pounds. He has not been very thrilled about me not picking him up or carrying him anymore. But he is a big boy and doesn't NEED me to hold him.

I am a stay at home mom to my two and a half year old and almost one year old. Before kids, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years at a small private school.
I'm a domestic engineer. AKA stay at home mom. I don't think we could afford daycare for six almost seven kids. Lol! I also homeschool our oldest kids (1st grade and kindergarten).
I'm a high school science teacher. I'm so worried about needing potty breaks! I teach a three hour block in the morning and then a three hour block in the afternoon. There's 4 minutes between bells, but I'm the lucky teacher who had to switch classrooms.
Another teacher! High school world history (10th graders). I'm wondering how I'll have to handle things if morning sickness kicks in (I was a paralegal last time I was pregnant, so much easier to just take a few minutes to myself and wait for any wooziness to pass), but I'm super lucky that we have 9 minutes between classes and that the faculty restroom is 2 doors down from me.
Software engineer, so I do a lot of sitting which is good since I've been dealing with spotting. I did already tell my boss though. Between having to run out of a meeting due to nausea *and* telling him EXACTLY how I felt about something thanks to the hormones (my southern accent even came out), I figured he should know. :-/
I work for Walmart, primarily in office positions (accounting, invoicing) but help in all areas like receiving and claims. I've definitely been taking it easy at work when needed (I'm not pulling any pallets!).
I'm a stay at home mom for the most part with my 8 month old son. But I work part time as a server/bartender for a seafood restaurant. I've been with the company for going on 9 years this December actually. They've been wonderful with my availability being so limited now.
Became Stepmomma to the world's best little boy, Marcus, on November 1, 2009! BFP On December 7, 2013! Due August 8, 2014! Reese made his arrival on August 13, 2014 after 42 hours of labor!
BFP on April 2, 2015, estimated due date is December 6, 2015! Teryn made his arrival on December 6, 2015 after only 15 short hours of labor!
I'm a 5th grade teacher. We have a long morning. I had to tell my neighboring teacher I am pregnant, so she can watch my kiddos when I need to run to the bathroom.
I work with kids with special needs with sever problem behavior.. Im really nervous as well about getting hurt, lifting, or bodily fluids... But I'm trying to just help in other ways, but it's hard when I'm still not telling and they are use to having me fully involved.. Just being careful
@amorrow5812 Any tips/suggestions for hiding and handling constant nausea in the classroom? I don't want it to effect my job. I feel absolutely horrible.
I'm a kindergarten teacher too! I've been carrying goldfish around with me. I think it's the only thing that has stopped me from actually puking in front of my kiddos. I also feel awful. I'm so grateful that I'm going through this towards the end of the year when they're a bit more independent. Could you imagine feeling like this the first week of school?!?!
