My bestfriend took 2 tests and both were negative and that same week she went to the doctor and they told her she was 8 weeks pregnant so it is possible to false negatives it just doesn't happen a lot
If your friend takes pregnancy tests the way you write sentences, I can see why that might have happened.
Excuse me I don't want to take the time to be grammatically correct. Go eat or get a hug maybe you will be less moody and mean
That's cute and all. But if you actually expect people to accept what you are putting out there, you might at least make it somewhat comprehensive.
Lol at editing your comment. You lost that pair pretty quick. Afraid of getting banned for calling me a "B"?
I had typed more than b but went to take care of my son and didn't finish so nice try. I don't have to resort to calling you names. I don't care who accepts what on this forum to be honest. But I will state what I have experienced
@mchmadre Please don't call me names, edit your comment to make yourself look better, and then have the nerve to report me. It's fine if you don't agree, but this board really needs to quit with all the immature tattling and reporting. It's ridiculous and out of hand. You don't need to go crying to TB gods every time you don't like something someone else says.
Apparently everyone and their brother wanted Taco Bell tonight....seriously. Get the f out of my way and let me order my chicken quesadilla and crunch wrap supreme. What's wrong with people?! :-w

Did you hear about taco bell possibly beginning delivery service!!!! I was like oh man... I'm in trouble!
Yes my husband told me yesterday!! I said "oh no I'm gunna get so fat this pregnancy!!" And he was like "no, don't worry. Most places only deliver in a 3 mile radius". We are like 4.2 miles from the bell....
Damn you ladies and your chicken talk, now I'm hungry, and I just had carnitas tacos two hours ago! Also, Chik Fil A and I have a very guilt-ridden relationship. I disagree with their politics, but damn if their hate-chicken isn't delicious

Healthresearchfunding.org states, "The percentage of negative pregnancy test results from women who were pregnant at 21 days past ovulation: 8.3%."
Obviously not super common but it happens. And I'm not saying the OP is pregnant. But, she needs to go see the doctor.
And how were they confirming that the women actually ovulated?
ETA: Ok. I just looked at this site. It has no citations to any scientific studies or studies of any kind. Also, I noticed at least one bad grammatical error. It looks like it was written by a teenager.
"False negatives" happen for one of these reasons (1) the user did not follow the directions on the test (2) the user didn't wait until the time limit to check (3) the user didn't understand that a faint line is a positive result (4) the user did not continue to test after the first negative test (5) the user ovulated later then they normally do, therefore, they tested positive later than their missed period (6) the story is handed down from 20 years ago when hpt were less sensitive.
I do not believe for one second that a woman could take a non-expired pregnancy test, follow the directions and get a negative result after 21 dpo.
Absolutely and its magnificent. Although I'm from the south and it has to be done right, but a diner is likely better than any large chains that may offer it.
I had two negative tests just two days before my positives. wait a few days and retest. Turns out I took my original two tests right at four weeks and my hormones weren't strong enough to turn the test at that time. After my first ultrasound it showed baby measuring days behind. I had symptoms but when I tested it was enough to turn it.

This is because you ovulated later than cycle day 14.
@TheBorg7of9 I'm aware. It could also be the cause of OPs negative tests. I clearly had symptoms with negative tests but was in fact pregnant. I understand the point some posters are trying to make with negative equals negative (in some case very rudely put) but in fact may be pregnant. Everyone's cycle is different. Happens to be thay mine was about four days off what it "should have been".
I thought we all decided this thread should be about chicken... I feel the chicken conversation was much more informative and intellectually stimulating
On a side I had KFC for dinner yesterday and it was orgasmic
I can't stand these catty woman telling others how's they look or feel. Stop the bullying peeps! If you do t agree-nicely state you don't or keep scrolling. No wonder all the kids these days are they way they are. Miracles happen with unproved science to. Just so you know. And I have hear cases of false negatives. How dare you tell her you don't "believe" her story.

I understand what you are saying, but the point is that she is not pregnant today. She may become pregnant later, but today she is not. No one has said that there is no way she will implant later and then test positive.
If the test is negative today, any symptoms she has are not pregnancy symptoms. If the test is negative today, that doesn't mean the test is wrong. It means she is not pregnant.
Who's bullying?! We're taking about chicken Don't come to an anonymous internet chat board and ask if you're pregnant and expect us to all say "yes you are! Congrats!!" It doesn't work that way. Everyone is trying to get her realistic info.

Ya'll are fun. Can I join? I'll bring chicken obviously.
Side note: it's astonishing how many people on this board have no clue how their bodies work
