DD's one year check up got canceled and rescheduled for a month later so we wont have official stats until May! She was in for a sick visit about 3 weeks ago though and weighed 17 lbs and 27.5 inches.
I used to wonder if I could bring the baby in to be weighed and measured. After monthly updates it was nerve wracking once the appts changed to every three months!

I love seeing these. All of our babies have grown so much this year.
Dd is a late April birthday, so she doesn't go in till the 28th. I can't wait to find out. She was 30" and almost 20 lbs at 9 months, so I'm sure she'll be one of the bigger kids.

Lol, that's about the same size my LO is now!

Wow, my kid is huge, lol. We go for our 12 month checkup tomorrow, but a home measurement was around 30.5" and roughly 28lbs. He's in 18m clothes haha! He was 10lb 11oz when born though!
Im surprised that DD wasn't a chunker, she was 8lbs 13 oz at birth and that is small compared to most of our family. My family usually winds up with very fat babies.

@Alli0322 wow! I have a big boy too! He doesn't weigh as much as yours but mine is super tall. We are in 18 month clothes too and slowly creeping into some 2t. DS is just so long!
16 lbs 3 oz 27 inches. Pedi put her on pediasure to help with the weight gain. She's not too concerned though...LO has always been a slow gainer and I was the same way when I was a baby.
Just back from the Dr. - 23lbs 5oz and 30". His height actually dropped in percentiles - he's been literally off the charts in the past and now about 80th, I think.
DD isn't 1 until the 29th and then her appointment is May 6! I'm guessing she's 20 lbs and 29-30''..... I'll post her actual stats if this thread is still around
Had our 12 month appt Friday. She is around the 75th percentile in height, weight, and head, which explains why it is so hard to fit some of her brand new clothes over her head! We knew she had just hit a growth spurt, but we weren't expecting to learn she was 31 inches, aka two inches shy of outgrowing her car seat. So we had to run get a new one. Yay for coupons!
Our doc did concern us a bit, because she wasn't happy that DD wasn't using any words yet. When I told her that my mother told me mine was at 17 months, the doctor told me I must have been "horribly delayed." Anyone else's doctor concerned about particular milestones?
My doc was completely unconcerned that LO isn't using words yet. He said he could tell LO is communicating and engaged with his surroundings and said words coming at various rates all the way up to 2 years was totally normal. So, I say our LOs will talk when they're ready and it's all just fine.
Our pedi doesn't subscribe to the 'baby should have words at one' theory. She asked, because it technically is a milestone, but said as long as LO is babbling she isn't concerned, and would ask again when we return in a few months.
25lbs and 31 inches here. However he isn't as high in the percentiles as he was before. This kid needs to learn how to walk soon because he's getting to heavy to carry around!
Had the appointment this morning. She's 18 pounds and 5 oz and 29 inches tall. Still a tiny girl! Those shots and toe prick though. I was on the verge of losing it while they did it
My peanut is 18.8 pounds and 28 inches. She HATES the doc and cries immediately when the doc walks in! You would have thought she was getting tortured when they were measuring her head with how bad she screamed!
My doc didn't even mention words. I wouldn't be concerned at all, I thinks it's early for words anyway!
My doc didn't ask about words at all. He heard him "communicating" and seemed very happy with that.
My LO says "da" a lot too. It has more clearly turned into "dat" or "that" to show us what he wants. He also seems to use it for "yes". I assume it means he's a genius who also speaks Russian.
Had to cancel and bump back our one year appt since LO has been so sick. He will be 13 months by the time we get in there! He has no words, doesn't pull to stand, and definitely nowhere near walking. But he knows how to put the cats' food into their water bowl. Is that on the milestone chart? Ha ha
21lbs 10oz and 29.5 in. She is right in the middle for weight and slightly above for height but 90% for head size! She has consistently had a big noggin! Where did my tiny baby go?????
@Talltree82 - DD's first 12 month was cancelled due to sickness and she will be 13 months at her appointment for next week. She babbles a lot and says mama once in a while dada but not really much else. I know she understands things because she points, waves, gives five, shakes her head no etc. She is also no where near walking, just within the past week started pulling up and within the past 6 weeks started doing a real hands and knees crawl instead of an army/inchworm crawl. I am kind of glad that the appointment got pushed back as it gave her a bit more time to develop lol!
DS is 20.1 lbs, 30.5 inches. 70th for height and 35th for weight and head. I've been giving him more food since I heard that! He's fine though. Just says "mamamama" when he's tired and needs me (so sweet) and dada for pretty much everything else. Not walking yet but cruises all day!
Just had the one year check up. She's 22 lbs 4oz and 31 inches tall. Still a tall girl! She didn't cry for either shot, even the MMR. I was shocked. Even the blood draw she only cried a little. She must have a higher pain tolerance than her brother did at that age, because his one year checkup was a scream fest.

@Katy0525, I was slightly off with our home measurements. Still a big boy, 26.8lbs and 31".
And I just noticed, our kids are exactly the same size, @Care6582. What are the odds??? lol!

I can't believe the doctor said you were horribly delayed! I think that's rude and obviously didn't make a real difference!
