Oh no I guess I'm way out of the loop, but I DID NOT KNOW this was a pass, fail situation! Yikes I go this week, I'm eating these Reese's cups and then done with the sweets!

Do you think if you stop eating sweets now, you'll pass? What does pass/fail have to do with anything? Again, this is not something you should be trying to trick your body into doing well! It won't work, anyway. If you have it, you have it. A reasonable person wants to know so she can treat it.

Agreed. You don't want to try to trick the test, because if you *could* trick the test, and tricked it into passing, then you would be doing yourself and your baby great harm by going around with untreated GD.

I'm finishing mine up now. I'm worried I'm going to fail (it's a 2 hour test and I was told to fast for 10-12 hours prior to taking it) because of a few side effects. After the first hour I started to get light-headed and started experiencing hot flashes. I felt like I was about to pass out so they had me lay down and gave me a fan. Any one else experience something similar and still pass?

I did this every single time. I'm hypoglycemic... Wonder if you ate the same
  • Failed 1 hour. Damn
