Mine is pretty stupid but bugging the crap out of me...I made salsa last night and I still have onion breath...ugh! And I've brushed twice already! :)

  • 12 assignments due for school in the 4 weeks left before the semester ends... 1 down, 11 to go!

Also I'm missing my grandma's 85th birthday celebration this weekend because I feel too uncomfortable to travel the necessary distance to it. It's the first time this side of the family has gotten together for something like this in 10 years... I'm super bummed about it :(

  • This is one of the few weekends we have before EDD with no plans and I was looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend with DH but he got called into work this morning at 2:15 and it looks like it's going to be a long day. The overtime he gets will be handy but hhe's been gone Monday through Thursday for the past 3 weeks and I wanted some quality time with him so now I'm just sitting here in my pajamas watching a movie and trying not to go on another crying jag.
  • My mom is coming to visit and my husband is acting like it's the biggest damn inconvenience. I kinda want to tell him to stop being a baby and get over it.
  • Every morning I have to run straight to the bathroom. I Cath and it hurts so bad until I go. Every morning DH has business to take care of too. Well he takes 30 mins + so tell me why he would go before me?!?! We even have another bathroom upstairs. I can't use it because my sterile environment is in our bathroom. I'm pretty sure he can poo anywhere. Ugh!! I'm laying here now, curled up until Mr.relax it out gets done.

That's my rant for the day. Other than that I get to see zz top today!!! Woot!!
  • @mellymar my cat is total daddy's boy. But since getting pregnant he now sleeps on my feet so if/when I get up, he know to ask me for breakfast instead of DH!
  • @mellymar it's not that sweet haha. it's more like some non bump appropriate wording!
  • My vent is my baby shower is tomorrow and my mom and DH are both working my last good nerve before I have to go to work. Its too early for stupid questions and everyone wants to get upset with me when I grabbed my keys and drove to Wal-Mart just to cool off!!!
  • My vent as stupid as it is is my bf tells me were going out for lunch he just has to run over to his friends on the snowmobile for a second that was 2HOURS ago!!!! And he now convieniently leaves his cell at home so i cant txt him and ask whats taking so long
  • My vent is that I didn't sleep all night. Also a symptom. Couldn't get comfortable or relax... I think I have some major secret anxiety !
  • Oh my other gripe is that I am absolutely dying for some red lobster and those biscuits.... And it's an hr away from our house. :)

Love those biscuits! Now that you planted it in my head I'm sure I'll have to eat those at some point this week!

Speaking of lobster, I got a hankering for surf and turf last night after I determined I was too lazy to cook. When I got home and looked at my lobster tail I almost cried. It was so pathetic. It shrunk so much while cooking that it was the size of two small prawns. My husband says he's seen crawfish bigger than that. What a let down.
  • I feel gross and fat and it's fucking everything up! No love life.... No self esteem. Emotional and depressed.
  • I'm pissed at myself for scheduling 5 12 hour night shifts in a row. I've only done 2/5 and my body is screaming out. Not to mention I sleep like shit during the day. Yikes. Hope my back makes it out alive by Tuesday morning.
TTC: 1/2014 BFP: 9/24 EDD: 6/8/2015 Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
  • @dancegurl1118 I can only do 4 and then I die after 4 like sudden death.....
  • @klkonwi this honestly could go down as one of the most stupid decisions I've made in history. And for some reason the past 3 weeks have been like unending, full to the brim, 10 births a shift...NOTHING HAPPENED 40 WEEKS AGO!!

I totally hear you on this one!!!!

  • My boobs are outta control. For reals. Every shirt I wear all I see are these huge knockers and I can't contain them. I buy new bras and outgrow them within the month. When I tell my girlfriends they all respond "just wait, they'll get bigger". Uuughhhhhh
  • @amark11 not sure what state you live in but in some states CHIP, children's health insurance program through the government, is available to pregnant women as well. There is no limited enrollment and how much you pay is based on your income. It's worth taking a look if you have no other options and is always cheaper than buying a marketplace plan!
  • potentially really stupid but im annoyed i keep hearing about it.
basically i have 2 tattoos on my stomach (got em this summer in hopes that it would help with some body image issues i have, before i knew/thought about getting pregnant)
and everyone i know that knows about them seems to be taking the liberty to tell me that they'll get ruined. like.. ok? cool? feel free to shut up about it. ill worry about that later.
  • Seriously...the cable is out AGAIN? I just wanna veg out. Now I feel bratty for being so irritated when truly I have so many blessings.

Same here. Nearest red lobster 1 hour, 20 min away :(

  • Ok I have a new gripe. I'm only 5'8" but very long torsoed and I went maternity shirt shopping tonight..... Some/most things were STILL too short. In LOVE with this shirt...... Nope. Too short. Can't imagine how my taller people on here are feeling!!!! Oh and all the shirts I bought are black..... I don't know what that means.
  • My gripe is that my snow cone machine broke so now I have no way of fulfilling my intense craving of shaved ice!! It couldn't have held on for a couple more months?! On a related note, I also can't find a 7-up slush (slurpee?) anywhere!

I hate cravings! Why must we want to eat weird things?
  • I try to look at all the positives but I need to vent! I've been having horrible belly pains. My doctor is closed, labor and delivery tells me not to come in unless the pain is constant and severe. I'm sorry when did not being able to lean forward or walk across the room with out this crazy stabbing pain not count as severe. To top it all off my husband is mad because the pain is too much for me to do things around the house or (tmi maybe) have sex. I feel like I have no one on my side!

    I'm going crazy waiting for Monday! 8-}

The same thing happened to me and turns out I've developed lactose intolerance since becoming pregnant! Have you been consuming a lot of dairy? I was. I've been dairy free for about 3 weeks now and all the pain is gone. I feel amazing! Just a thought. Good luck!

  • Yea I've been lactose free for a while due to intolerance, lactaid and almond milk are my best friends now! I was having just round ligament pain before but it got worse on Friday night and turned into this stabbing pain In the middle of my stomach, which is why I haven't been able to talk to my regular dr about it

Aw, thank you! I'm living abroad right now, but didn't know about CHIP and will look into it.

This is why I have hated Abercrombie my entire life (since I was too young to dislike them for more legit reasons). Their tops are sooo boxy and short on me. I'm also only 5'8"! We are not Giants!

It is good to keep this in mind always, but we are allowed to complain about the little things, too. That's what makes a complete Life, I think. All things great and small.

I am trying to meet up with a friend's brother, who works at the hospital where I think I want to deliver... And dude has cancelled on me three times! He has been sick, and it's really thoughtful he doesn't want to get me sick. But come on!!! I need to make a decision about hospitals!! (Here, your OB doesn't deliver your baby, the hospital doctors and midwives do - whoever is on duty. So it's a huge decision!)
  • @klkonwi I'm right at 5' 7" and noticing the bigger my bump gets the more of an issue this becomes. I'm 27 weeks as of yesterday and I'm also noticing that the panel of my maternity jeans I wore to work on casual Friday keeps rolling down. I thought that we're supposed to be able to wear maternity clothes the whole pregnancy? What do mommies of multiples do? I'm just ready for the warm weather to be consistent enough to wear dresses every day.

Why do people keep asking for opinions on names and then get annoyed when we respond with genuine answers? I think some people just want to use the bump as a platform to talk about how great their choice is and not want any opinion other than "OMG that is the most amazing thing I ever heard!"

So annoying. Don't we have a names thread where everyone can list their names?

I picked out a name very early on, and I loved it so much that even after my husband said that he didn't like it, I STILL kept campaigning for it months later. Now he likes it. :-)

If a name means that much to you, you'll not give two ish what anyone thinks. Let alone people on the Internet.

I have a cough and it's really scratching my throat. My husband has really long days weekends so no one is here to coddle me but my dog :(
  • Yesterday my husband and me did ALOT of walking all day and then decided to do grocery shopping at the end of the day. I have a lot of problems with my hips/backs since getting pregnant and by the time we got to the store I could barely walk (I always try to push through the pain because I'm stubborn and I don't like saying I can't do something). My husband is always trying to get me to drive one of those carts and I finally cracked and did it last night. I was so embarrassed even though I know I needed it.
  • Good for you, @NicoleBurroughs12 ! If my grocery store wasn't always so crowded I would do the same- I would love to have a little horn to honk at some of the oblivious and rude people who just stand in my way while grocery shopping when I feel like my back is about to break.

So true! I gave DH a list of names since he said he didn't have a strong preference, he chose what he liked. We're good.

No internet needed. Really it's the parents who should decide not internet strangers.

Plus there is a names board. Why after all this time are people not using it? I know I am type A and very much a control freak but seriously organization folks.... Sorry, I'll step off my soap box now...

  • Sad vent- was looking forward to a nice big tax refund so I could finally afford to do some little things for myself (prenatal massage, pedi) as well as buy my fiancé a nice birthday gift....and found out I'm only getting $104 back.

Ho hum. Better than owing, I guess.

I was wondering if that could happen. I never drink milk but do have it with cereal occasionally. This past week I had it three times and every time right after my stomache started hurting and I went to the bathroom like crazy. Was wondering if I have become lactose intolerant.
