We are painting our Master. The color is driving me crazy!!! In some light, it's the perfect blue/gray and in others it's a baby blue. Hoping I can get it fixed! Also, I posted on Facebook with my 3 colors choices and asked for opinions and my friends were all like "you should do green, purple, hot pink, etc!"...no which of these three colors do you like!i know I'm just being emotional and pregnant but it was pissing me off.

    We lived with our master painted a baby blue for 1 year because of my pride. It really is deceiving in the store.... Was supposed to be a blueish gray. Good luck !!!!!!!!!

    Just found out that there's likely to be a rent increase when our lease is up - apparently that's standard for our landlord? If this happens and it's too much, guess who's moving in June... with a newborn, grad school, and an internship to juggle...

    do you live in a building? Cause most buildings legally are allowed to raise their rent by a certain percentage every year. If it's just a landlord renting out their property or something then I don't know about that, maybe talk to that person? Our landlord is lowering our rent by a little bit in exchange for my boyfriend's help with lawn mowing and other chores, so that may be an option to bring up if possible

    Yeah, it is a building, so there's probably nothing we can do about it. I just hope it's not a lot. If it's like $10-$15 more a month we can swing it but if it's like $50 I have no clue what we're going to do. I talked to DH as soon as I got off the phone about looking at foreclosed homes but that's a super complicated process from what I understand so I don't know if that's the best option. We're trying to save for a house and were hoping to buy one at the end of next year's lease but this might change things.

    @karaelaine1991 hopefully it's not too much for you! I believe the landlord-tenant board votes on it and decides collectively, but some buildings are 5% and some are way more. So hopefully it will work out well

    You know what hurts my feelings? My Grandpa can go out fishing with my drug-using step-cousin and even post pictures of it online, but he will never call me, his actual blood-related granddaughter, first or at all and somehow everyone acts like I'm the one who ignores him so much as to feel the need to scold me for not giving him firsthand updates about LO or DH.

    Two things: our day care fell through on Sunday - one that was under budget to boot - and now my car is breaking down. We barely have enough money for daycare and now we need to add a car payment? I'm trying not to panic.

    Here's one I'm gonna sound nuts but ...My moms friend was over looking at my registry for some reason and bought something. Then she left and I said one thing about something on there and my sister (who's baby is one, I am convinced she has jealousy issues because her son is currently the only grandchild) goes can you stop talking about ur registry? Meanwhile I was thinking wait I said one thing... (I try not to talk too much about baby in front of her because clearly she gets sensitive) and my dads like yeah why aren't u studying or something? Like what the hell get off my case! I almost started crying I was all excited and in a good mood until now. Okay enough of my rant glad their was a perfect thread for this!!!

    And by the way during her pregnancy she was the biggest nut always thought there was something wrong and everyone was constantly having to check in and make sure she wasn't off her rocker.. Then I say ONE thing! Oh my I think I need to lock myself in my room HAHA.

    I feel you on this! I feel the same way about the grey in my baby's nursery!!! Sometimes I swear it's blue! Too late now... But I'm glad I am not the only one to struggle with this issue! Hope you decide on a color and love it! :-)

    Ugh sorry! Why is everything happening around baby time? No reprieve! Also once some of our New England snow melted we found pieces of our chimney on the ground, but I am absolutely ignoring that for now.

    Ok, I'm mad at your sister for you!!! All I talk about is baby stuff so I'm sure my family hates me but they would never actually ask me to stop talking about it. I would have cried for sure!

    I just got a notice that insurance rejected a claim from the lab for our initial Panorama blood work. From November. And it's $2500. The only reason I'm not panicking is because I recall several of you saying that ultimately it gets worked out between the doctors office and the lab. The rejection notice also says we would not be held responsible if we were told it would be covered (which we were). Lastly, I literally have no mental capacity left to get upset about one more thing!

    this is just really stupid but its really bothering me, basically my DH wont let me buy him a nice camera body to replace his old one that i kind of may have sort of damaged. like shut up and let me buy you this thing you want.

    My husband thought 3 am this morning was a good time to make tamales. He kept me awake all night with intermittent food processor use, left a massive mess for me this morning and took the entire dozen to work so I didn't even get to enjoy any of them! :-(

    That is just divorce behavior there ;) haha!

    Well, we painted. DH loved the color last night. Came home from errands today and was told "we need to repaint!" Ugh!!!!

    I called our insurance (BCBS TX) to see where to go get a pump and they informed that that DH's company elected not to cover them. At all. Wtf!? Every other bcbs plan I've ever heard of covers them. Sooo annoying.....

    Actually my BCBS said the same thing to me. The women I spoke to was really helpful though and she said that while a breast pump is technically not covered she could put it through as a medical device, this my insurance would cover. I'd call back and ask. Hopefully that can work for you too. Good luck!

    I need to move also.. And likely in May, Maybe even June 1st! Baby is due June 13th. I also have to be studying for my dental hygiene boards which I'm scheduled to take may 19th and 26th.. So it's going to be a crazy next 12 weeks!

    My husband is making me so angry. He's been laid off for over two weeks (a lay off he requested because he "needed a break"), and hasn't done jack shit. For literally months he has been going to clean out the garage which is a mess of his beer bottles, shelves, random crap...so we can move things from the spare room so we can convert it to a nursery. I can't lift the stuff and the furniture in the spare room is a two person job. So, not only has he not done any of that, he hasn't done one thing to help clean the house aside from doing laundry one day- which he is holding over my head like he went out of his way to really help. On top of that he has not paid any of his bills so I have to not only pay all of the ones I normally do (which is the majority) but also his. I work full time ad a teacher, plus picked up a job two days a week teaching after school, while still doing everything and more than I did before I was pregnant. He thinks I'm a bitch for expecting some kind of help. Sorry this is so long, I am just so frustrated.

    @shannonhogan12 I would kill my husband! Mine has been working 12 hour days so we can get all our bills paid by May.

    And on the other spectrum my gripe? I'm so sick of working! I'm a serving and bartender at two different establishments plus a nursing student. I only work 4-5 shifts a week which is a lot less then before pregnancy. But I'm so sick of people, I'm sick of being tired and on my feet all day. Lol I'm just lazy and don't want to do anything!

    My DH is an emerge doc and dragged home some nasty stomach bug. DS was sick on Tuesday and guess who was 28weeks pregnant and puking her guts out yesterday, me! Ugh.

    Now all I want are jalapeño poppers, but I'm scared they won't go over well. :(

    My son is still sick from getting it on Wednesday. Luckily, it's not as severe as it was Wednesday. His pediatrician said that we are most likely in the clear...crossing our fingers that he is right. It's a nasty bug.

    Let me start by saying I haven't been emotional at all this pregnancy. I'm 28 wks and have been putting off announcing on Facebook or having any pictures taken of me because I feel insecure. My fiancé is wonderful of course and constantly tells me I am the most beautiful woman in the world. So I finally got all done up so hubby and I could take a nice picture to announce. It was a little tough seeing a picture of myself looking like two of myself, but I posted it and got a very loving, positive response. So feeling good, and not even 24 hours later my SIL announces her pregnancy on FB at 13 weeks (same SIL who threw a fit when we told the family we were pregnant because it "wasn't our turn" and we were "stealing her thunder"). I'm not the type to care about Facebook stuff and I figured it makes her look bad, not me, so I just brushed it off. Then for some reason my fiance's ex, who he was in love with and broke his heart, liked our announcement on Facebook. And she is an absolutely gorgeous model- I'm not exaggerating, she is on par with Victoria's Secret angels. This set me over the edge. I want to crawl in a hole and just be ready for him to look at her pictures and think "why am I with this fat whale?" So yeah I feel ridiculous for getting upset over Facebook but hey I get one emotional breakdown don't I?

    Ps. I don't like to use profanity but what kind of bitch thinks I want her liking anything of mine????

    Aww I would be upset too!!! #1 I bet you don't look the slightest bit like a whale... But I can sympathize I feel the same way!!!! I'm sorry you're dealing with this... And the 13 weeks prego SIL thing would REALLY piss me off!!!! Feel better mama!

    I haven't been emotional much this pregnancy, but my DH is on way back from a boys' weekend in Hamburg, Germany where he ended up in a strip club (I could tell by his voice when he called that he had been). I'm feeling pretty low right now and this is just not what I need. He's so great in every other way and so I don't want to come down hard on him but it's made me feel like complete and utter crap and this is only the second time I've cried all pregnancy :(

    My DH has to take a business trip to Germany, and I have expressed how he is not to go to any "adult venues". I have this weird thing going on in my head that everyone is super hot over there. Haha! At least here (Midwest) there's no competition on the stripper front...most are missing their teeth. And I'm not a jealous paranoid wife, I guess just when I'm hugely pregnant!

    I thought all insurance companies had to cover them? I did not look into it personally yet because mine is covered but I think it's like a federal law or something that insurance companies are required to pay for them. Or at least the basic versions.

    Nah. I live in Germany, and it sadly seems like a lot of the strippers and prostitutes are likely victims of human trafficking. Lots of Eastern European women, with skeevy Eastern European men (pimps) hanging around.

    I'm from the Midwest, too, and promise the Ick factor is just as high here!

    I woke up this morning to my husband watching, on repeat, a video he took of me when I was an emotion wreck because I wanted a baby pig. Im not sure how many weeks along I was....I wish he would just delete it! I fear he will accidentally upload it to Facebook :/

    I have a cyst on my eyelid that is growing. I already feel like I'm not looking my best and now I have this ugly thing on my eye everyone is noticing. I'm hoping to see my doctor ASAP and crossing my fingers that there is a pregnancy safe solution to get rid of this.

    Thanks, @amark11 and @casey06022015 :) I feel better today. Told fiance how I was feeling and he was very reassuring.

    @mellymar I don't know how you serve while pregnant. I bartended for six years (age 18-24) and towards the end it got to the point where every little comment or interaction was enough to make me pull out my hair. ESPECIALLY body comments/being hit on. And especially from regulars! I can only imagine how short a time I would last while pregnant. First time someone mentioned the belly I would probably hurl a shot glass at their head.
