Most swings say not to let them sleep through the night in the swing. I'm sure it's in the owner's manual. However, DS2 would only sleep in the swing for like a week. Sometimes you do what you gotta do so everyone survives.
As long as they are on their back with a clear airway I would say it's ok. My DD is sleeping in a Fisher Price Rock and Play... It's all about survival for this FTM. She is 11 days old and we are starting crib naps when we can. She does ok but I'm not ready to have her across the house alone without me at night. Hoping she will be a crib sleeper by the time I go back to work at 6 weeks
A two week old shouldn't be "sleeping through the night". Baby should still be eating around the clock, about 2 hours if breastfed and 3-4 if formula fed.
My worry would be bubs back. Generally they say they can only be in a capsule or swing for 2 hours. Your bubs needs time to lie flat. It wouldn't be good for their spine. You could always email or call the company. I'm sure they have guidelines to their product
