Ewcm confused.

hi, this is my first month of ttc, I have been charting on basis of cm only,I have had ew cf for three days now, fourth day today, does cm remain ew for a while? How can I determine the exact day of ovulation, or can it be only confirmed with bbt?
I am taking bbt but not charting it yet, getting a hang of it for this cycle so that I can start charting next month.

    Ovulation can only be confirmed via temping.

    You can have fertile CM any time during your cycle.

    Have sex every other day to cover your bases.

    If you're already taking your temp, why not chart it? Have you looked into the app called Fertilityfriend?
    My TTC History:
    2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
    2010: Infertility
    2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)
    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
    October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

    I am using ff, I am still trying to work out a time which I can take everyday, I have irregular hours at work, including night shifts, skipped some days, so guessed I should not chart till I am sure to avoid wrong. Results

    When cm changes from ew, doesn't mean ovulation is over?

    Read that book I mentioned above. And do the tutorials on Fertility Friend.
