Post D&C Pregnancy

Hello everyone, 

I recently had a D&C on January 30 after miscarrying at 5 weeks. Three weeks later, I took a pregnancy test to see if HCG was still present. Both tests (Clear Blue Easy Digital) came back negative. A week later I got a blood test at the doctor and was surprised to see that my levels were still at 75, event though it had now been a month after the procedure. Two weeks after the blood test, I just had a feeling - had been tired, slight cramping, nausea, etc, so I took two more tests (same brand). Both came back positive. I am waiting for the latest bloodwork to come back from the doctor, but of of course the wait is killing me. I was curious to know if this had happened to anyone else. This would be my third pregnancy in 7 months (the last two ended in miscarriage unfortunately). Thanks everyone!

    This just happened to a friend. It was a complete roller coaster for her. Turns out she got pregnant right after her MC. It does happen!

    This actually happened to us. I miscarried in October had a d&c. Missed my period. Then found out Christmas Day I was pregnant. I cannot tell you how many test I took. The line was there faint at first. Then they got darker. Scheduled an appointment for second week in January. Continued to POS and the line became fainter. The digital test showed I was predicted to be only 2-3 weeks preggo when I knew I was further along. That is when I had a bad feeling about everything. Yet I still seemed to stay positive. First week in January went to the bathroom and was sporting. Went straight to doctor. #s showed levels of HCG. We found nothing on ultrasound. Told me to come back the next day to test HCG and Progesterone. The bleeding became heavier went back numbers had dropped. The doctor said he cannot say if my body was going through a miscarriage or if my body still had HCG registering from first pregnancy. We treated it as a miscarriage and were told to wait 2 cycles. Now here we are. Please stay positive. Every pregnancy is different. Prayers being lifted up for you

    Good luck, but this is Trying to Get Pregnant? I don't understand why TTGP was moved under the Pregnancy Tab?!
