We're going nautical as well ! I'm having a bit harder of a time finding cute bedding since we're having a girl and most I've seen is blue, but I've found really cute frames and decorations on etsy that I will be ordering soon! Like PP said, I also can't paint my room but I've found really cute wall stickers that I will be ordering as well. I'm so excited !
So glad you bumped this @laurendutch ! I love seeing other people's ideas. I live 5 blocks from the ocean so we are doing a kind of nautical/beach theme, but I am crafting all of the decorations and haven't found bedding I like yet. I feel like most nauticals are dark blue and red or have whales or fish, but what I've put together is a more pastel and neutrals sailor kind of deal. We aren't allowed to paint in this apartment so I got wallpops! decals.
I love this btw !! I kinda live near the ocean since I'm in Washington but I REALLY miss the beaches at home (south florida) so that's what inspired me on the theme!
We're moving in July-August so we don't plan on setting up a nursery in our current place...but this is what we're going for when we move to a new house. Will look like this for a boy and coral added in for a girl.
We r making some good progress with our room but there still loads to clean and tidy up... We still have lighting, curtains and pictures to hang up...
We found most of our stuff on Craigslist, on sale or outlet hunting... We r having a girl but we want to keep it gender neutral just in case we have another one
I have painting to do for artwork yet, but our little guy's room is going to be Dr. Seuss themed. "Oh the places you'll go" and the Cat in the Hat are going to be prominent, along with bright primary colors. I found bulletin board Dr. Seuss items at the craft store, so I'm going to frame some and make them look artsy and whimsical for it. Soooo excited!!
So many cute nurseries! You Mammas have great taste. We are moving a month after the twins are born so I have a temporary nursery in our house now which is not at all put together yet. I'll share my new nursery with you guys once I have it finished in the new house.
Our nursery! Still waiting on a rocker and dresser to come in, and then we'll hang stuff on the walls. Decorating is my thing, so this has been such a fun time!!! :-)
Oh man, we are SO far behind!!! I am starting to freak out a bit. I think we will definitely be going to babies r us this weekend!
The actual nursery has some construction to be done so I think I will just set up a temporary one in the other spare room, then we can move it later. I don't want to wait until May, that's way too close for comfort!

Same here, @MamaBish! We're basically waiting till after our showers to really get a move on things. My aunt did send us a pack n play yesterday though, so that's all set up now since DD will most likely be sleeping in that in our room in the beginning anyway. It doesn't match our nursery plans at all because I wanted it to be gender neutral for future kids. I love it! Having it set up makes this all feel more real
I've got all my furniture in, just waiting on decorating slowly. Our nursery is also doubling as a guest room for my parents so we added a murphy bed. And bought a media cabinet for her dresser/changing table.
Hot air balloons in Paris is our theme with an awesome mobile from Amazon that set the theme along with a "Ballooning Over Paris" print from art.com. However, we went to have wallpaper stripped and realized the plaster underneath needed repaired so we can't even paint yet let alone put the grey furniture in-and June 1 will be here before we know it!
Hopefully the furniture DH promised to put together two weeks ago will get started on this weekend when I go out of town. This adorable rocker came in the mail today and I started crying. It will fit perfectly in our grey and white nuetral theme since we are team green.
As I've mentioned before, my nursery has a LOT of progress to make before it's ready for baby's arrival... but I'm so excited about this canvas that my sister made for DD's room! We're going with a light fairy theme (think fairy accents, not fairy overdose, haha) and I think this is perfect for it. I'm so excited!
This is one corner of little one's room. I'm on the search for some lavender or pale yellow wallpaper decals for behind the crib. There's a bookshelf on the opposite wall with a shelf holding my unique Bible collection, a small storage drawer set eith bibs and such, and some of her stuffed animals until I get more books.
Grey, cream and white. All cozy colors. I didn't pick a theme necessarily- just baby items, soft materials, and warm fabrics. We don't know if it's a girl or boy, so keeping it neutral, without the green/yellow.
This is our gold, mint and coral nursery for our baby girl. It's still a work in progress but it's getting there.
That's my color scheme, too! You guys have done a great job! Unfortunately we're not able to paint the walls because we're in an apartment so all the colors will be in the furnishings and decor.

Ours is doubling as guest room too. I'm not psyched but have come to terms. We have a futon going into the nursery. It'll be where I can at least hang out and nurse in the middle of the night!

I'm in the same boat for the guest room thing. I don't really mind, to be honest. We have a lot of family and friends who live out of town and I like being able to have a bed for them, which we wouldn't if my dad hadn't given us an extra twin that my parents had at their house. Baby can sleep in the pack n play in our room when we have a guest, plus, as you've mentioned, I think it'll be nice for me to have the option of sleeping in hers during late night nursing sessions.
Excuse my sister's feet lol but here's more art that she made for DD's nursery! It doesn't really fit our fairy theme, but princesses are kind of related and it's so cute that I don't even mind! Plus it's more for my daughter from her aunt, which I think is more important
