Going to have a baby today

Just got admitted because my water broke! I had convinced myself it didn't actually break and I just peed, but lo and behold it broke and it looks like I'm having a baby today. Contractions haven't started so they told me to get some rest since it could be a long day. They'll start pitocin in 6-8 hours if they don't start naturally. Asking for your T&Ps for this FTM- did not expect this to happen when I woke up today, but so excited to meet my little lady. ☺️

Good luck to you and take their advice and RELAX!! Your body will do what it needs to do to start your contractions. Try to hold them off on the pitocin for as long as you can, because that will really changes things! Once again GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I'm 37w2d. They haven't started pitocin yet...I just walked some stairs and did some laps around the hospital and still no action....I think I'm running out of time!

The early April babies want march. I'm right there with you. Due 4/9. I'm now 4cm and 90%. Contractions every 10 minutes.

Good luck! I'm sure I'll be right behind you. I'm 36W5D, 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced. Baby girl is supposed to be due April 7th. Early April babies are getting impatient to meet their mommies! :-)

Pitocin is started and contractions are starting to kick in. My water broke about 12 hours ago so the doc is ready to get things moving. Thanks all for your encouragement!

Ava Kay arrived last night at 8:57pm!5lbs 15oz. It was a long day, as my contractions never started so pitocin was given around 11am. Pushed for 2 hours. We are so happy and healthy. For all you mommas out there...especially FTM's with a little apprehension like I had- you can do this! Your body is so powerful and smart. Thank you all for the well wishes and support ❤️
