@lilac02 that is the one thing about spring that I hate! I took LO and out dog out for a long walk yesterday, when we got back it took me 15 minutes to get the dog all cleaned up.
I should have had a glass of wine in my hand an hour ago. Bedtime was a total screamfest tonight. I hate you, daylight savings time. Teething can also suck it.
Brought the baby to my uncles calling hours and to a restaurant after. She was an absolute angel the whole time even though she only had one 30 minute nap all day!

Off the baby or in the laundry? For laundry, I wash them in a lingerie bag so I don't lose them - I have yet to lose one to laundry.
Off the baby, I got nothin.
Smart! I'll have to try it for the laundry. Thanks for the tip! Off the baby is also a problem, especially in the car. I'm ready for warmer weather and bare feet for lots of reasons, but socks are one of them!
So, heard from my niece that LO slept through the night. Hooray! I gotta steal her baby magic. I, on the other hand, spent the night tossing and turning on the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever laid down on. Go figure.
I went for lunch with some friends today. That's really the first time I've been away from both kids for something fun since my A14 baby was born. It was so nice and I really need to make sure I do that.
I've started temping and using OPKs this month to start monitoring my cycle in preparation for TTC this summer. I'm ovulating and it makes me sad to be using condoms. I really want to have another one, but I also want to try to avoid another c-section which means we need to wait until July to start trying. But there is a part of me that really wants to try now!
We are at the family cottage for the weekend, just a little getaway with DH, LO and I. It's a little rustic, no running water and a wood stove for heat. Last night LO woke up crying because he had peed through his diaper, jammies and sleep sack. Luckily I brought two pairs of jammies, but we only brought one sleep sack. DH had to use a blow dryer to dry it so we could put him back to bed! I didn't want LO to sleep without it since it gets chilly when the fire does down. Of all the nights for this to happen!
DH and I had a day date today, and it was soooo fun. The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside, we ate pizza, and we drank beer. It. Was. Fan. Tastic. And my mom is coming to visit on Tuesday! Happy!
LO usually sleeps through the night. But lately he's been waking up about once a week (ie. last night) and when he does he seems to be up for a solid two hours before he goes back to sleep. I have no idea what it's all about. I'm pooped and not used to this anymore!
Hi ladies! Been away for a few days. Did I miss much? DD finished het first round of antibiotics on Friday for an ear infection...started running a fever and all the same symptoms again by Sunday. Poor thing been sick going on a month now...grrr. waiting for the doctor to call back now.

Hi everyone! I guess I didn't realize what this bread was so I never paid attention to it. I will now and hope you all don't mind if I start chiming in

LO's down for a nap, but I'm feeling really unmotivated right now. I should work out but don't want to. And I just realized that I'm almost out of formula. Not motivated to go to Costco but will have to this afternoon. Maybe I should just go nap too.

Chime away!
So tired today. End of vacation blues plus molars equals a cranky mama. Blah.
Any other breastfeeding Mommas out there? Still going strong here with BF'ing 5 times a day and solids in between. If you are still BF'ing...what does your near future look like as our littles approach their first birthday?
I wish I was, but I started drying out late November and had to give up in early December. I wanted to make it to a year so badly but not even meds could keep my milk coming.

@mommyofmac I'm still breastfeeding 4x a day. My LO does not like soy or whole milk. I'm not in a rush to stop nursing, but I do want to stop soon after her birthday. I guess I'll just keep letting her try the regular milk until she gets used to it. What's your plan?
I'm drying out too. I'm down to only nursing her first thing in the morning and right before she goes to bed. I still give her 4 ounces of formula on top of me nursing her and she drinks it all so I don't think I'm giving her very much. I'm just holding out on stopping because I love that time with her so much. I will probably drop one of those next week and then drop out the other at 1 year. I'm so sad that my baby is almost a year old, it went too fast!

We are down to four times a day. She really doesn't like drinking from a bottle or cup although I have not tried breast milk recently. So I'm thinking my plan is to keep breast feeding until she turns one and then start introducing WCM. Once she's going strong on that I will start weaning her. I might also try to get her to start drinking BM from a cup-but that means I have to pump and not too keep on that idea because I'm lazy. Probably means I should probably make myself do it the huh?
I wish I still were BF! I really wanted to make it to at least a year and soooo loved that special time with DD. She was such a good nurser right form the beginning. I wasn't getting enough time and breaks at work to keep up my supply and dried up by the end of January The good news is though that I actually had a very healthy supply in the months before I returned to work and did extra pumping in between feeds so that I had a huge freezer stash. I rotated to keep them up to date and she is not taking as much so I should have plenty to make it to her one year mark (March 31) and maybe even a bit longer!
We're still nursing when we're together and on weekends. I pump while I'm at work. He nurses on demand (while I'm typing this actually). I doubt we will stop at one year but continue on til he starts signaling he's ready. He has a dairy allergy so that makes a transition a little more interesting. Just planning to play it by ear.
We are bf 4 times a day and solids in between. I was initially planning on a year but she has some major surgery around 13 months. I think I will keep things going so she'll have that comfort...we also haven't landed on a sippy cup she loves. After the surgery I will start giving WCM.
We BF four times a day, and sometimes once at night. My plan is to drop the middle of the day sessions soon after his birthday and then continue with morning and bedtime as long as it keeps working for us. I've been working on cutting out the middle of the nights session too, but after his birthday, I think we'll be done with those. He can have a cold bottle if he is really hungry! And if it's just habit, hopefully that will help us transition out of it. I love nursing, but that love is greatly diminished when it is 3am.
I overslept for work today. I never do that! I'm always on time. In fact my boss refers to me as old reliable since always there by 830. I woke up at 657 which is when my train leaves. Oops! I blame DD being up from 3-430. I should have just stayed up but that extra hour of sleep sounded so good at the time!
