Someone tell me crib training gets easier. It does get easier, right? RIGHT?!?!
I'm starting to think it never will for us. Everytime she wakes up in her crib, she screams. Nap times take at least 15 minutes of crying before she falls asleep. She hates her crib with a passion.

That's pretty much where we are too. Naps have gotten easier but we just started to put her in the crib at night. We bed share and she's too restless of a sleeper to continue this. Last night we did the stepped soothing and after 45 minutes I gave up.
We just started doing the crib for nap time yesterday. She has been down for almost 3 hours now! Unfortunately this probably means no 2nd nap...but I got a lot of stuff done around the house!

What is more fun than diarrhea you ask? How about diarrhea, nausea, a sprained ankle, arthritic knees, a headache, getting my period and a cranky baby.
Temperatures were above freezing today! Walked to the grocery store with LO and then we took the dog for a long walk. The season of the wet dog is upon us!

WTH?! You can get a lot done with nausea, diarrhea, a sprained ankle, arthritis and a headache? I want your stamina and motivation! No wonder badass is part of your name. I guess you deserve to be in all caps! :-P

Lol...I'm normally very lazy actually, I just promised myself I would finally do stuff today no matter how I feel.

My hair is naturally curly but in the winter I like to wear it straight sometimes to change it up. Well, my hairline is full of little baby hairs from where I lost hair post partum. They are starting to become curly, only they are too short to straighten. So now I have these wings along my hairline that look ridiculous with straight hair. I just find it super annoying.
At least it felt more spring like today! And it stayed lighter out later which I love! So excited to maybe do some outdoor activities this weekend.

Same here! They look even worse when I wear a ponytail! Can't wait until they grow out.

Hang in there! 45 minutes isn't bad. My LO adjusted to night time in the crib pretty quickly. Naps is where we have issues. You'll be shocked at how things can change quickly for you. Don't give up!

I have straight hair and the same thing. Ponytails are the worst because the front wisps stick straight up.

I have the little wispy wings too. My hair is neither straight or curly...it is a lovely in between with some frizz! I normally wash it and let it air dry overnight then attempt to tame it by either adding more curl or straightening in the morning depending on whatever way it dried closer too haha!
So I had this crazy dream that I was pregnant and actually pretty far along and just realized it last night....like the show I didn't know I was pregnant. Now I am paranoid that I am pregnant even though I KNOW that it is extremely doubtful that I could be. We had IF issues to begin with, I had my tubes tied after DD and I just had my period.
So then the crazy side of me keeps thinking, BUT my cycles are and always have been some times its just random spotting blah blah, I have been really hungry all the time and super tired and gained back about 5 pounds in the past 6 weeks since I quit pumping and I'm super bloated even though I have been working out consistently. UGH - then sane side come back an reminds me tubes tide and period!!! I feel so nuts that I may go buy a PG test just to stop my crazy thoughts haha!

Ive had the same thing, not the dream, but the feeling. DH had a vasectomy, so it isn't happening, but a part of me wants it to happen as an accident. I keep getting nausea and hunger at the same time, like my morning sickness.

Just to be extra "safe" DH is also getting a vasectomy this summer lol! We are done and done! It kinda feels wrong though as it took us so long dealing with IF and working with a RE to get pregnant for the first time just over 3 years ago and now we are doing everything we can to prevent it.
I am irrationally annoyed that Pinterest is not working on either my iPad or my phone. I just want to waste time on the interwebs! First world problems.
Honestly, I see no problem with it...I just know way too many organic-philes and supermoms. "Oh Ehm Gee, you are feeding that junk to your children?" . You know the kind.

You mean Kraft KD? I make homemade and when we're out I buy quasi homemade - probably packed with salt which is why they love it! I love Kraft KD too though. I tried to get DD to eat it a while ago but she refused. What a little food snob!
It certainly doesn't make you bad mom material in my books
I am so excited for a high school friend of mine!!! She's been married for probably around ten years now and has had at least 5-10 miscarriages (that's purely a guess, as I don't really know how many she's lost). Last year around this time she gave birth to a little boy at around 17 weeks gestation (the time when we were all getting ready to have our A14 babies). The baby obviously didn't survive. But today she is being induced at 37 weeks (high blood pressure) with her take home baby!! I can't image the road they have been down. I am very happy for them; I can't image the joy they will have when they get to hold and kiss their little baby today!!! I just can't image...yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh the heartache they experienced must have been terrible... I don't even know them but I just got so choked up with happiness for this wonderful news!! Congrats to them!

Just found out they are transporting her to a bigger hospital because her bp is out of control. Praying all goes well.
@AnnH74 thoughts and prayers for your friend and her baby. I can't imagine the heartache they have experienced. I hope the little one arrives safely! Keep us updated!
I am officially a terrible mother. I just gave DD some of my Mac n' cheese
Mac and cheese is by far LOs favorite food!!! I do make it homemade tho - it's actually super easy and the same effort as the box takes. When I was little I used to get mad when my mom would make it from scratch because I wanted it from "the box"

Me too!!!! I always wanted the fake stuff but she refused. When I went to college I basically binged on the stuff!

I was raised on things 'out of the box'. Now that I'm an adult I love to cook from scratch. Although I hold a special place in my taste buds for the box stuff!
So we had both our 3 year old and A14 LO in bed and sleeping by 9:00 last night - which is actually kinda early for them. DH and I were so excited to have a little time to ourselves before we went to sleep as we usually fall in to bad as soon as we get the kids down. Just starting to get ready for some sexytime, and hear little feet padding down the hallway grr!
Our 3 year old comes to the door and says "something is making noise in my bed!" (he has a bunk bed) behind him comes our cat loudly meowing and announcing himself. The darn cat was up on the top bunk and woke the 3 year old up who then proceeds to talk loudly to the cat as I go to tuck him back in and wakes up the baby across the hall. DD screams her head off until I come get her and I spend 20 minutes rocking her back to sleep....ugh it felt like we were on some sort of comedy sitcom! Needless to say sexytime did not end up happening, sigh. At least we laughed about it before going to sleep.
@LolaX2 - this sounds very familiar to me... Cat and all. I know the sound of 3 year old feet coming down the hallway good thing they padded down the hallway before sexy time instead of during...
My obnoxious cat keeps waking up DD. She is constantly in heat! We have scheduled to have her fixed twice and each time she has gone into heat the day before!
