We decided on Alayna for our little girl. The middle name is still up in the air but some contenders are Fae, Carys, Eirlys, Mae, and Rose.
Carys and Eirlys are Welsh which is my heritage and definitely not popular and I'm afraid the pronunciation will always be butchered by others. But I love the idea of incorporating my heritage in her name.

I like them and honestly wouldn't worry about them being mid pronounced. How often do people use middle names?
@guinevereis, Have you considered Vanessa? It's a longer form of Van and still feminine. Could call her Van or Essie as a nickname. Good luck finding a name for your bundle of joy!
The middle name is actually my husbands "real" last name. His grandfather changed it when he moved from China to Thailand during WW2. My husband thought of it and it has some sentimental value to him.
We are having a girl (due April 20th) and we had originally started off with 3-4 pages of names (boys and girls) which we slowly started to narrow down. And about a week after finding out the gender of our little one, we decided on Elena Rose.
