1. I am a consultant. Generic huh? Okay, I am a Management Consulting specializing in Federal Finance (just like everyone else in DC)
2. I have not had too many 'fun' jobs. Maybe when I was working retail in college. I liked the people I worked with, the work - eh.
3. I worked at an HIV & AIDS prevention clinic in college. The work itself, not so unique, but I had a fishbowl of condoms on my desk and a smaller one full of lube.
Kid #1 - 09/03/12
Kid #2 - maybe???
Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube #11 or IVF with scarring still inside? 1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
1) What do you currently do for a job? I am a pediatric speech language pathologist.
2) What was your favorite job you've ever had? I enjoy my profession a lot (not my current job however) so I will have to say the clinic I worked at right out of grad school. Such great coworkers.
3) What was the most unique job you've ever had? I never really had unique jobs. I worked retail at a sports/ski shop during grad school and I learned how to string tennis racquets. That was pretty fun and unique.
1. I've been a full time stay at home mom since we moved a year ago, but I am expecting a call with an offer tomorrow for a part-time accounting position at a non-profit that I'm very excited about - yea!
2. My last (also part-time) job was administering a homelessness prevention grant which I loved - felt like good work, no dealing with clients, and lots of attention to detail which I thrive on.
3. I did grocery store inventory - arriving at 3am to travel in a van to grocery stores all over the area to inventory shelf after shelf. I guess the job itself wasn't that crazy, but the people who worked for the company were super interesting.
TTC #2 since April 2012
Year 1 - nothing
Year 2 - two m/c
Year 3 - unexplained diagnosis & 4 failed IUIs with
Clomid/Letrozole
Year 4 - still unexplained & 3 failed IUIs with

2) My favorite job was probably when I was a lab manager in a bird song research lab. It seems like a lifetime ago...
3) Most of my jobs were pretty lame but I guess my most unique was probably when I was doing spotted owl surveys. I got to drive around logging roads playing owl calls and waited to see if any owls responded.

1) registered nurse working in insurance pre-certifications 2) I worked at a sno-cone stand in college, that was fun and I ate a LOT of sno-cones 3) I worked in ICU at a very small hospital, so instead of specialty nursing we had tons of different illnesses ranging from heart surgeries to very ill postpartum moms to suicide attempts. Went to work daily never knowing what I would see.
1) What do you currently do for a job? I am a registered nurse
2) What was your favorite job you've ever had? Probably the one I have now in OB-GYN
3) What was the most unique job you've ever had? No unique jobs here.
how do you handle doing your job and not breaking down in tears? omg girl, i could never work in that field while battling IF.
This is exactly what I was thinking. We barely even hang out with good friend of our right now because she is pregnant and it always leads to a bad night for me.

I admit that my job is more emotionally challenging since have IF. There are days that make me very angry- especially if I take care of a patient who is irresponsible (i.e.: drug user having her 5th kid) or someone who is super rude and nasty to the nurses. It makes me wonder why they are able to have so many kids and I can't. But some days my job gives me hope too- seeing patients who struggled with IF finally have their babies makes me happy. So it is a mixed bag.

I delivered newspapers from the time I was 11 or 12 until I started high school. I delivered to the people in my neighborhood and an apartment building for elderly people and they always had interesting stories to tell.
