  • 1)  What do you currently do for a job?  And we ALL know that staying home full time is a job!!

I was a high school French teacher for 12 years but just left the classroom to go back for my PhD part time.  I miss teaching a lot!

    2)  What was your favorite job you've ever had?

I loved teaching.  I did not love all of the BS that teachers have to deal with.

    3)  What was the most unique job you've ever had?

I can't say that I've had any "unique" jobs but I being a camp counselor was extremely fun!

  • 1. I've been a full time stay at home mom since we moved a year ago, but I am expecting a call with an offer tomorrow for a part-time accounting position at a non-profit that I'm very excited about - yea!

    2. My last (also part-time) job was administering a homelessness prevention grant which I loved - felt like good work, no dealing with clients, and lots of attention to detail which I thrive on.

    3. I did grocery store inventory - arriving at 3am to travel in a van to grocery stores all over the area to inventory shelf after shelf.  I guess the job itself wasn't that crazy, but the people who worked for the company were super interesting.

  • Speech pathologist in early intervention.

I love the job I do now, but I worked at a movie theater in high school and that was a lot of fun! I also worked as a lab tech in a hospital and it was so interesting. I don't know if I can pick an all time favorite. Every job walking of perfect for the stage in my life.

I delivered newspapers from the time I was 11 or 12 until I started high school. I delivered to the people in my neighborhood and an apartment building for elderly people and they always had interesting stories to tell.
