I'm 36 and a half weeks and the inability to sleep is in enough to drive me insane and definitely does not help with how emotional I am! The waddling and immobility is also frustrating and I'm seriously considering adult diapers. BUT... We are almost there!!!

Yes! You describe perfectly, I'm ready to feel productive and mobile again. I've been trying to be but it just makes me more exhausted.

    Quoting both of you
Honestly I am very worried because I feel like I have 0 energy and then I keep thinking "how am I gonna handle the L&D drill" and " taking care of a newborn" I really need to get this energy from somewhere!!!!
  • I'm almost 37.5 weeks and all of a sudden I have been experiencing the worst hormones. Swear wanna/end up crying least once everyday! Been having harder of a time staying asleep all night as I have to pee frequently and I do stop fluids 1.5-2 hours before bed (which is torture cause love my fluids). But only 2.5 more weeks till due date so can't complain too much

I know exactly how you feel!!!! I have cried about the silliest things for the past two weeks! Raging hormones are so annoying lol

  • It's pretty cold in Ohio and I am HOT! I've always been a freeze baby, so this is totally new to me. I hope I get back to normal once the baby is here, or I'm going to be sweating all the time at home!

  • Argh so nauseous and tired!
Seriously, everyday I feel like that , I know it is normal but I just wanted to be my "normal" once in a while...

    Looking forward to baby's arrival

  • Feeling tired too, but also feeling really calm at the same time. Almost bored. No real painful contractions, baby seems really chill today. The dishes in the sink and knowing that dirty laundry mountain in the basement and clean laundry mountain in the guest room are waiting for me isn't driving me nuts, like it all usually does. Just going to try to take advantage of this feeling and see if I can rest. Anyone else feeling this? I know they sometimes call it the calm before the storm, but I'm just going to assume this is my body giving me a break and baby will wait a week or two. At least.
  • 35 weeks and 1 day - sciatic nerve pain, exhaustion, shortness of breath, occasional menstrul cramping, heart burn, and a terrible stuffy nose. Actually I can't breathe through my nose at all - especially at night. This is tprture. Five more weeks though:)

I do! I am a little anxious for baby to get here - but other then that I am really (unusually) not stressed out. And once I hit 37 weeks a few days ago my energy level has felt better and I've felt physically better all around. I guess this is that "nesting" thing but I haven't cleaned anything yet haha. Hopefully this means our babies are going to be here very soon!
  • Today I'm 36 weeks and 4 days.
The doctor ordered an ultrasound because last week my fundal measurement was reading full term. It turns out that my baby girl weighs 8 lbs 10 oz already. So now I have to wait on the doctor to call and see what he wants to do about inducing me at 38 weeks and delivery options. Her weight would definitely explain all the pressure I've been feeling over the last few weeks. I can't believe she's so big. I don't look like I'm carrying a baby who's almost 10 lbs! It actually has me nervous about delivering her now
  • @takerany Aw don't be nervous at least your doctor is giving you options to deliver before your the full 40w -- I mean imagine how big she could be by then!
  • @Christina1939‌ I can't even imagine lol she'd definitely be a 10 lb baby then. I'm just hoping for the best and that she continues to be healthy

I just posted a couple days ago on here, but all of a sudden I'm feeling good.(Almost 36 weeks) A little heartburn, but not bad. A little swollen, but only at night. I got huge all of a sudden and it's hard to sleep. Hopefully you ladies feel better soon too !!

Sorry, just saw this. My legs, mostly my ankles.
I finally got to the point where I am just uncomfortable 100% of the time now. I'm glad baby girl is still in there growing , but I am ready to hold her in my arms instead of my tummy

And I just found out I'm diabetic , And my bp is going up.

Oh.... And now I have hemorrhoids !! Yuck !!

Where do you feel swollen the most?

  • @hollyanne85‌ , I'm getting upset stomach again too
  • 38 weeks... Hormonal. Though, I'm not always sure if it's just my hormones or my blood sugar going low/high ON TOP of the hormones. But, I have a good cry session followed by feelings of being completely overwhelmed, then I get elated. All in a matter of like 15-20 minutes. Haha. Drained!!! I have NO energy. Erratic BH contractions, some cramping like sensations, dull lower back pain, minor swelling... I'm being induced on Monday, already started with the bloody show, dilated 2 cm and 90% effaced. It's coming to a quick ending, and I can't wait to meet my little man. Hang in there everyone, it's going to be soooooo beyond worth it!
  • My ribs! 34 weeks and dreading the next 6. I just had a baby 10 1/2 months ago and wasn't in this much pain at this point in pregnancy. I'm currently sitting up awake because not being able to breathe and being kicked in the ribs woke me up. I do get Braxton hicks every single time I sit or stand or turn... I don't have any tricks for this!
  • 36 Weeks - My hands have swollen and it is not receding. I had to take my rings off. She is still flipping. Hopefully in 3 weeks when I am induced she will be heads down but it's hard to plan having a natural birth when I'm afraid she'll be breach. She has been kicking my sciatic nerve making my bottom hurt. Not sleeping very well at all. I lost my mucus plug this morning and for me it doesn't mean anything. Leg and foot cramps in the middle of the night. I don't need to go to the bathroom any more than normal. Just counting down the days now.
  • I am 37w5d and my induction is scheduled for March 4th!

My OB says I am 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced (I was 1 cm just two days ago) but I haven't felt contractions lately, so not sure what is going on. Either way, baby is ready to come any day now!

Physically I actually feel pretty great, my energy level has came back and now I am just trying to get everything ready. Finally. Nesting energy.
  • I'm currently 36 weeks and 3 days. I'm not sure if this is signs of early labor, but I feel an extreme amount of pressure in my stomach and my lower abdomen. I've had on and off loose stool for almost a week now. I haven't had much problems getting to sleep, just never feeling like it's enough. I've also had urges to clean and clean. I believe I've been having Braxton hicks (if that's the cramp like pains in my lower abdomen). I've lost my mucus plug and started dilation. My daughter is also head down. :)

Definitely on your way to something! Get as much rest as you can during the latent phase. :)

I was so uncomfortable too until my baby dropped the day I hit 35 wks. My ribs felt like they wanted to pop. Hope you get some relief soon.
  • No pre-term labour here (though I did I get very paranoid about it haha) I'm 34 wks and 5 days but for quite some time now I have had heart burn (very early on)
This worst has to be the low back pain, and pelvis pain. I mean like my pelvis hurts all the time especially when I'm (trying) to sleep! It gets so stiff and all the pressure on it from the baby is just almost too much. More recently though, about a month now I have been having rib pain on my left side, seeing a chiropractor weekly and yes my ribs are way out of Wack haha. I'm just hoping the last 5 weeks speeds by!

P.s - anybody else unable to hold in farts when they laugh too hard? It's humiliating
