Re: Weekly Symptoms tracker from week 30 on :)

  • I'm currently 34 weeks and 3 days! I don't think I am experiencing any signs of preterm labor, but my current symptoms are quite annoying!

I have recently started noticing some Braxton Hicks. I usually feel them most when I have to use the restroom. Is that weird? My lower back is sore every once in awhile too. The most annoying symptom is increased discharge. I think it might even be me not being able to control my bladder anymore. Embarrassing!

  • @ju123‌ I'm sorry to hear about the sleep deprivation! That's the worst. I feel lucky that I can sleep, but I just can't seem to get enough.

  • 35 weeks + 1 day- No signs of preterm labour as of yet, thank god!

Symptoms I'm currently suffering the most are- severe heartburn, sciatic nerve pain and insomnia!

Bump has hardened quite a bit over the past few days, feeling a lot of pressure down below from babies head and I'm also no longer in control of my bladder... Those early morning 5am toilet trips have me waddling as fast as I can so I make it in time!

Leaky boobs also- but I've been leaking since I was about 27 weeks... Stocked up on those breast pads! #:-S
  • @CTDD14‌ what kind of breast pads are best?

Thank you! Yes I envy you so much :)

Sleep deprivation is hard, many things can disturb my sleep, its just sad :(

I hope baby doesn't get affected though

I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow. I've had Braxton Hicks for weeks now, and they're getting more intense. It got so bad that I was calling my doctor at 2 and 3 in the morning this week only to be told to take drink plenty of water, take Tylenol and lay on my left side. Surprisingly it works.. My boobs have been leaking for a long time now lol for a while I thought they started too early. Then there's the insomnia, and I'm awake until 6 and 7, cleaning. My husband and I walk a lot, and lately that's been getting difficult because baby girl puts so much pressure on my pelvis and then I have pains that start in my back and wrap around to my abdomen. And don't even get me started on the swelling and random itching [-(
wow good to know about Tylenol and water for BH

These are the worst for me too
  • @takerany‌ I use Lansinoh Disposable Nursing Pads... They are amazing!

I am 34 weeks 4 days and getting really fed up with being pregnant- I am ready to be a mum now and would love to be able to fast-forward the next six weeks!

Not sleeping well at all, wake several times in the night due to discomfort/needing to pee/leg cramps. Had terrible heartburn and acid reflux since about 25 weeks which has gotten progressively worse. I've heard that this clears up once the baby 'drops' however. Super tired and heavy. Chronic lower back pain.

Not sure if Braxton hicks have started (which probably means that they haven't, right?) I get the odd tight cramping sensation that feels just like a menstrual cramp, which the midwife said was normal and probably just everything stretching to accommodate baby.

Feeling restless and unable to relax yet

My midwife just told me that the tightening And menstrual-like cramping is what Braxton Hicks feels like.

I know what you mean about wanting baby to be here now. I'm so excited for her arrival and the impending eradication of pregnancy symptoms! Obviously, I'm willing to wait the next 6 weeks so she has the time to get strong and healthy!

I feel the same way, its a mixture of wanting the baby soon and yet wanting the baby to stay as longer as it's needed

Itching...I'm taking a guess that you don't mean your arm. If I'm right and it is down lower (vag and behind) buy tucks pads (for hemroids), keep them in the fridge, use them to wipe down there as needed.
  • @ju123‌ ask your doctor first! I hadn't taken any kind of medication since I found I was pregnant at 8 weeks and waited all this time, and that was after hearing that I could have Tylenol from my mom, and lots of others. I still didn't take it until I called my doc :)
  • @finallyourturn2‌ it's not my vag or my buttocks. It's mostly legs, belly and my back. But I will keep that in mind for after birth if I do end up with hemorrhoids. Thanks!
  • Oh, from the swelling. I haven't figured that one out yet, and from the pre-e I have it all over.

  • Back pain, some reflux, and some Braxton hicks occasionally...I found I have them less now that I'm on leave though.
  • I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow. Super exhausted, but can't sleep! Starting to get lower back pain, lots of BH contractions, sometimes with slight pain (THAT kept me awake the other night--thought I was on labor watch). Acid reflux every night, even though baby is pretty low. Feel like my belly is stretched like a rubber band that's about to snap! I'm definitely bigger than I was with my first. I feel HUGE.

Oh yeah for sure but I've got the ok for Tylenol long ago :)
I guess it's the only things for pain that we can take....

Same here this is my second pregnancy and at 30 weeks I was as big as when I was 40 weeks with my first :(
I feel I have no extra skin or muscle to stretch for another 5-6 weeks lol
  • Real contractions on and off, some days worse than others, but very irregular. Leaky breasts TMI sorry, lots of issues with the Sciatic nerve and lower back soreness so I'm taking lots of nice warm baths!

Same here! I've just got out the bath after 2 hours- it really does help to ease the pain!

I have been on a sickness leave due to sciatic nerve since week 25 :( it just got better staying home and taking it easy
  • 34 and 3 days. The longest I have ever been pregnant! Hurrah! Drinking TONS of water helps with BH, haven't had much since 32 weeks. Lower back pain, sensitive nipples, hard tummy, increased discharge, the usual symptoms. Nipples are not leaking with this pregnancy, I'm taking that as a good sign. I worry about over stimulation causing preterm labor. Sciatic nerve pain also went away around 32 weeks, yay!

I am on pelvic rest and try to keep off my feet. Enjoying being pregnant and keeping her in for as long as possible.

FYI: for you FTM, if you think you're tired and sleep deprived now... :joy: just wait till baby comes and you're waking up every 2 hours to feed. I thought I was going to die for the first three months.
  • 33+6 (34 tomorrow!) serious acid reflux, backache (but in the lumbar area, not lower back yet), itching everywhere but with no spots, just stretching skin. Mood swings, feeling slightly clingy towards my husband! Finally managed to sort sleeping though, which is helping EVERYTHING.

    This is my sec

Don't mean to brag but I slept through the whole night last night! It hasn't happened for a long while, so don't hate me too much. We just put our first born into a toddler bed and he has been falling out of bed each night. I have had a lot of heart burn, horrible acid reflux when I lay down, back pain, no contractions though
Looking good for week 33 for me.

A bit jealousy :) but good for you!!!

Try bio oil or any good quality oil for the skin if you haven't , it helped me a lot...
I'm all paranoid about the stretch marks once baby is out and skin goes back to normal, oh well! The joy :)
  • For those who can't sleep through the night- unisom is wonderful. My doc assured me it's safe to take every night.
  • @ju123‌ I'm using the stuff every morning AND bathing in it every night before bed - it definitely helps but I feel like I should probably try one more application every day! If nothing else, I'll be well-moisturised, right?
  • 33w 4d and swelling in just my left leg, I went to put my Toms on today and seriously too tight. I've had these forever. My other foot/ankle/leg is fine. But my left one is crazy swollen. Am I chalking this up to circulation? I've never had any edema with the other 3...

I have had swollen and numb right arm and hand for 2'months now I think it's possible but check with your Dr
I was so scared I thought I was having a heart attack :(

The only concern I would have with that would be a blood clot... Is there any abnormally warm spot or redness/splotches on your leg? If not then it probably isn't. Check with your doctor to make sure though!
