Weekly Symptoms tracker from week 30 on :)

Re: Weekly Symptoms tracker from week 30 on :)

  • 35 weeks tomorrow and have had contractions erratically since week 29. Worst thing now is pelvic pressure (I'm hobbling at this point) and horrible acid reflux at night (this is why I'm up and on here at 2:30 am). I'm an FTM and have never dealt with acid reflux before. Is there anything other than Tums that we know is safe? Those are not cutting it anymore! Thanks!

I am also 35 weeks tomorrow! Same symptoms as last week, except the past 3 days I have finally experienced what BH feels like. Was crampy for a couple hours today but nothing severe. Had a doctors appointment today everything was good.
  • Heartburn has FINALLY eased up!! But now it's back and hip pain and constipation... The chiro has really helped me but there is definitely still pain. BH contractions too but they don't hurt really so I am cool with them. And I have my first "lightening crotch" experience when my son decided to punch down... I did think I was going to have him right then and there

I have had reflux to the point of throwing up for a couple of weeks now.
TUMS didnt work for me but Zantac with a half glass of cold milk helped!

    good luck

So I have had acid reflux for years and years, and Tums never work for me. I love alka seltzer, and it is usually the only thing that can get my stomach to chill out. But you shouldn't drink them when your pregnant because it contains aspirin which isn't the best for baby. However, if you have a hispanic store near you, they sell this alka seltzer type thing that doesn't have aspirin so it's OK to use while pregnant and it really helps my stomach. See picture below... :)

**Edited to say that, if you can't find this, you can make a homemade version with baking soda, water & lime and that works also*

As far as my symptoms -- I am 36w2d today -- 26 more days!

I am having constant BH and random painful contractions throughout the day.

Add to that the "lightning crotch" or whatever. If I walk any more then a few hundred feet, I get this and I have to stop moving until it goes away.

I have to pee all the time, but I am sleeping like a rock because of how tired I feel.

    I'm 1 cm dilated :D

My nesting instinct has yet to come, my house is a disaster. I'm still waiting for that pregnancy symptom....

  • I'm 35 weeks today. Yesterday was my bday and I was attempting to shave my legs when I noticed I had swollen ankles. Pretty much had a meltdown in the shower lol. But I know that it's normal, just not what I wanted to see :) also noticed last night that my contractions seemed much stronger than usual. Pretty sure they were still BH but definitely more painful than the normal hardening of my bump. Don't have insomnia, just have trouble going to sleep since little man likes to be awake when I want to go to sleep, but thank goodness once I'm asleep I stay asleep unless my bladder beckons :)

  • I just posted a couple days ago on here, but all of a sudden I'm feeling good.(Almost 36 weeks) A little heartburn, but not bad. A little swollen, but only at night. I got huge all of a sudden and it's hard to sleep. Hopefully you ladies feel better soon too !!
  • I am 34 weeks 5 days and my worst symptom is carpal tunnel syndrome.  My hands are numb, stiff and painful.  And its getting worse.  I am having a hard time functioning at work because of it.  Its especially bad at night and keeps me awake.  Is anyone else experiencing this symptom?

Yes I do apprently this numbness and tingling in my hand and arm is carpal, I am not 100% tho I feel a lot during the night :(
I am miserable at times because simple tasks like writing becomes a huge difficulty...

WOW I cannot shave my legs lol
My belly blocks me, back hurts, pelvis lock, good thing you can tho!

Where do you feel swollen the most?
  • I am 36 weeks today. I have swollen feet and legs, no sleep, horrible heartburn (I live on Tums) and has anyone else had morning sickness come back? Cause I swear this momma has!!
I'm not sure how much longer I will be pregnant because I just found out that my fluid is low and if it gets much lower they want to induce. So I guess I will just enjoy these symptoms for as long as I can and pray that when it's time that she's healthy.

Had carpal tunnel with my first. Started wearing a brace ASAP for about a week 24/7. It got better fast, but it needs to be kept on.
  • @ju123‌ March 19th!
    Cool!
  • @ju123‌ yeah I don't know how good of job I'm doing but I'm just trying to keep the super long prickly away for as long as I can manage :)
  • I'm 35 weeks 1 day and I'm pretty sleepy all the time! I've also started noticing more BH and some cramps. Feeling pretty darn emotional too - I have to take a cry trip to the bathroom at work about once a day. :( On the other hand, I know I'm not too far away from meeting my baby girl, so bring it on! So darn excited.

  • I have pain to the touch on the right side of my belly button.. Out of no where. Annoying :/ when I went to look it up I read a couple posts about "hot spots" and then a couple people thought it could be ligaments pulling. Seems strange to randomly pop up out of no where but that's pregnancy for you.
  • I'm almost 37.5 weeks and all of a sudden I have been experiencing the worst hormones. Swear wanna/end up crying least once everyday! Been having harder of a time staying asleep all night as I have to pee frequently and I do stop fluids 1.5-2 hours before bed (which is torture cause love my fluids). But only 2.5 more weeks till due date so can't complain too much
  • I'm 35w4d, and I've had horrible acid reflux, some back pain, and LO has been putting more and more pressure on my pelvis, which makes it a bit hard to walk. No leaky breasts, however. I've also started to get more BH this week. I'm looking forward to these next 5 weeks to be over!
  • Zantac is 100% safe and will be a big reliever!
  • I'm 35 weeks. Went for normal check up today, strep b test and I wasn't dilated at all. BUT doc did do a fundal measurement as usual, and he says that I am measuring about full term so he's ordered an ultrasound for next week. Everything was just fine until after I left the office. Now I have back aches and Braxton Hicks are getting more intense. If things don't calm down within the next hour or so, my husband and I will be heading to the hospital. I've been walking with my mother and she actually recommended that I bring on labor with intercourse (I could not believe she actually suggested that). But anyway, this is awesome. Just wonderful. What a great way to bring in our first Valentine's Day as a married couple!
  • @aframe77‌ Yea! My face is so very plump these days. I feel like a balloon. I do love looking at this round belly, though! :x

  • 35 wks tomorrow and miserable as of 3 days ago. Had been feeling wonderful and thought maybe I would carry this little girl past 36 wks for a change, but now not so sure. Started with the usual painful, rhythmic BH (minute long and about 5 min apart) and now horrible back pain, achey pelvis, and, generally, a very sore lower half of my body. Also, (warning TMI) some tummy upset, which is really what makes me nervous about labor starting a tad too early. No bloody show yet, which is good. But this being #5, I'm just waiting it out because I hate going to L&D just for observation and getting sent home again. And my hospital is an hour away this time. Haha. See my OB tomorrow anyways.
  • I'm 35 weeks and my lower back KILLS! I'm wabbling like crazy because of the pain!
    Can't stay asleep at night
    Painful BH
    Heartburn
    Itchy skin
Pretty much everything! Lol I think the end is so bad on purpose so that we want that newborn so badly! Even though that part is really hard too :)
  • @takerany‌ Any updates?

Ultrasound is Thursday. I did go to L&D Friday night for contractions, only to be sent home because they went from being every 6 mins to being inconsistent -_- I was so irritable. I probably won't go back to the hospital until my water breaks and hopefully I find out what is going on at the ultrasound. She's still pretty active and I feel a lot more pressure since she's dropped.

I'm 36 and a half weeks and the inability to sleep is in enough to drive me insane and definitely does not help with how emotional I am! The waddling and immobility is also frustrating and I'm seriously considering adult diapers. BUT... We are almost there!!!

    I'm with you for sure!

My last pregnancy I had my belly button inflamed for 1 month :(
I think was because I was scratching it , not a good feeling :(
  • @noodlienoodles‌ and @breannahagen‌
Thanks for posting about being emotional! It's driving me bonkers! I wasn't like this my first or second trimester. One minute I'm angry, the next minute I'm crying, the next minute I'm resentful. Then I cry again. And I absolutely HATE crying. I thought it was just me, so thanks for posting :)

Backache is better today and the contractions have lightened up since this weekend. Baby looked great during her stress test today, and doc just told me to come into L&D anytime I feel I need to. She has also dropped which I think has helped my overall comfort level. Although I now have less than 5 seconds to make it to the bathroom from the time I feel the need to pee. I am still super exhausted and find it hard to find a comfortable position for my hips lying down. Those hotspots @erwallace089‌ mentioned... I get very sore tender spots on my tummy when I do too much. I think mine might be stained muscles spots. Maybe slight muscle tearing? Try to take it easy when you get those.
