We still don't know the sex of our baby yet, but will find out soon. If it's a girl I would love to name her Amelia Rogue and for a boy we were thinking Odin. I haven't got a middle name for O
We just found out that we're having a baby boy. Hubby was super excited. He already had a daughter, so we needed a boy. Many of his family members have J names so he wants to keep it going. He's never wanted a Jr, so his name is going to be Joshua Christopher. Hub is Jonathan Christopher. Daughter Janise Christine. We agreed to go with his middle name bc it's also his dad's middle and my twin brother's first name. Plus the idea of all children having the initials JCM was cool.
My husband is Greek so we will likely go the traditional route (firstborn is named after husband's parents). My mother in law is Maria. So if it's a girl we will likely do Mariana Zoe (my mom is Marianne and Zoe is my husband's great aunt). My father in law is James. So if it's a boy we will do James Christos (James is also my eldest uncle and Christos is the name of two of my husband's uncles).
We talked about baby names before I was pregnant - so this is my best guess. Now my husband doesn't want to talk about it at all until we find out what we are having. Lol. March 4th can't come soon enough!!
I've had a girl name forever - Nora Anna but boy names are much harder. Our current front runner is Theodore. Middle name up in the air but I kind of like Chase.
@ipumpkin James Daniel was our boy name forever - for family reasons as well! We're still going with James for the first name (if it's a boy), but decided to switch up the middle name in honor of a family member who recently passed.
@asherk - that is a great idea. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I know losing someone is always tough to go thorugh...At this point, we have the same concept going on. The name is used to honor my father as well, it just worked out the Daniel is a name in DH's family too. It just so (unfortunately) happened that my Dad passed away in early December...so it makes the name extra special now. I'm almost hoping for a boy for that reason....and we aren't telling anyone the names we've picked until the baby is born...so I think everyone will be surprised and excited...everyone has been asking me if we'd be naming it after Dad... little do they know we've been planning to for awhile now. Haha. I just hope if it is a boy, it doesn't come out like my dad did. He was huge! by 3 mos old, he was 16 LBS. WHOA!
My daughters name is Laura Jane. I liked Jane but we hadn't decided on a girls name and when she was born and we found out she was a girl hubby said he'd been doodling Laura Jane at work so that's where it came from.
We will find out the sex of this one at the end of the month. I like George Martin for a boy. My husband is 6th George in a row (all different middle names) and my grandfather and uncle on my moms side were George. Martin was my dad's middle name and his dad's first name (full name was Marti. George actually) but hubby not sold on it as he thinks Marty McFly from Back To The Future.
No ideas for a girl yet. I like Louisa but hubby does not. We're definitely into more traditional names.
We are having a girl. Of course because we had a boys name picked out! We have a son, Owen Everett and daughter, Eloise Victoria so we wanted to keep a vowel name. I think it will flow best, but didn't want a common name. We originally were thinking Amelia but I have heard that name a lot and it is one of the fastest growing names. I think I have convinced the hubby on the name Emaline with possibly middle name of Aileen or Eileen (hubby's moms name). Like someone had already posted, it is hard to find a good name when working in a school district! Lol
We don't find out until 10th March whether we are pink or blue but have decided on Tallulah Jade for a girl. I've always loved Tallulah, and Jade is my middle name. We are very undecided for a boy, we have Zachary already and are struggling to think of something we love as much as that
My daughter's name is Juniper JoAnn (Juniper for a few reasons; she was born in June, I'm a huge fan of the Junie B. Jones series, and my husband is a forester and loves nature related names. JoAnn combines both my mom and MIL's names: Mary Ann and Mary Jo).
We are pretty decided on a boys name: Archer Rome (Husband's name is Jerome). Just love the name Archer (Archie for short). But I also like the names Finn and Sawyer. The first time around our boy name was Croix, but we've kind of fallen out of love with it.
We haven't found a girls name that we both love. Some that we're considering are: Lily and Rosemary. I'd like to stick with something nature related. I actually just read an adorable book where the little girl's name was Maple and my husband loves it. But I told him people would think we're nuts naming both our kids after trees!
@ConlinToGillmore9909 - have you considered a longer version of Rae? I think it is the two single syllable names that is throwing Brooke Rae off in my mind. Have you tried Raegan or Raelyn? I am kind of partial to Raegan, as that is DD's name.
As for what we will be naming these two - DH refuses to discuss it in a serious manner until we find out what they are - come on Feb 17!!! My favorite girl's name is Kathryn Maria (Kathryn was my grandmother's name and Maria is his grandmother's name). He said it's OK but doesn't like the spelling, and I refuse to budge on spelling because I want it just like my grandma spelled her name (we were very close). He did say, thanks to his sister throwing out ideas, that he has always like Charlotte Rose (Charlotte because he likes the nn Charlie for a girl and Rose because he grandfather had the most amazing rose garden and was always out tending to it). Now I am hoping for two girls because I love Charlotte Rose and think if it is just the spelling of Kathryn Maria that bothers him, he might be willing to just let me have it.
I think finding a boys name (or 2) we both love will be nearly impossible though.
My husband and I are pretty committed to Liam Ryan for a boy and Madelyn Ryan for a girl. Ryan is my BIL's middle name who passed away when he was young. I initially was worried about Ryan for a girls name but I absolutely love it We find out the gender on the 20th and we can't wait!
We agreed on Muslim /Christian names..he is from Morocco and I'm from California... Miriam for a girl and Abraham for a boy.. I wanted Noah but he is stubborn
We're having a girl. Her name will be Gracelyn Alloura. Alloura because the husband really likes it and it's about the best a name we could come up with. All our kids have a middle names. Gracelyn after gods great grace. Our other children are Mathew alexander, Shelby and lillie Anneliese-Marie.
we are team green and have picked out Annabelle Rose for a girl and Elliott for a boy but we are stuck on the middle name for Elliott. everything I think of sounds better switched like Elliott Albert sounds better as Albert Elliott. lol
We find out what we are having next week. If we are having a girl her name will be Delaney Lorraine ( Lorraine was my late grandma's middle name) and if it's a boy he will be Oliver Stephen ( Stephen for my father that passed away)
I'm pretty sure we've decided on Eli.ana Ther.ese for a girl and either En.zo Ma.rio or En.zo Do.minic (although I am still rooting for DH to choose Lore.nzo over Enzo, with Enzo as a nickname!) for a boy.

We are having a girl and her name is Adalyn Paige. We picked the name when I was pregnant with our first child and ended up having a boy. His name is Alexander Michael.
We don't know for sure what we are having but the tech was 90% sure at the last scan that we were having a girl. Boy: Maximus Clark girl: Seraphina Wren
We are having a girl and had so many little spats about the name with family members who said the name we picked was too close to the name they were going to give to their little girl (they are not even pregnant yet). Anyway the name we picked is Emerlyn Jewel. We wanted something unique that has not been used before.
We're in the same boat! Jokingly mentioned names while mutually agreeing that we won't stick to one until we know the gender. Too bad I can't get the name Quinn out of my brain!
