Just turned 37 and am in my 8th week of pregnancy of our first. I doubt anyone will ever mistake me or my husband (49) for grandparents, nor am I worried about it.. and if someone does *shrugs* their problem not mine heh. To me the term 'advanced maternal age' feels somewhat outdated?? I know a lot of first time parents in my age bracket heh.

DH and I are almost your exact ages. I'll be 37 in a month and he is 48. He has children from a previous marriage but I'll be a FTM.

I'll be 41 when my baby is born. I have an 8 year old daughter now. I have my 1st appt in about 2 weeks. I'm a bit scared too at how different this pregnancy might be compared with my first because of my age. I had a wonderfully healthy and boring 1st pregnancy--thank goodness. I can only hope this one will be similar. I'm 5 wks 4 days.
