hey has anyone gotten this result from their 12 week ultrasound and blood reading? They called and told me at my age (giving birth at 30) there is a 1/670 chance of having a child with DS, but my reading was 1/340 chance, saying I was in intermediate risk. Any input would be great. Thank u! Very nervous and scared
Re: Intermediate risk for Down syndrome?
What about doing the NIPT?
For me, we are going to do NIPT. We looked into it and our insurance is going to partially cover it.
DS #1: April 2010
DS #2: July 2015 (preemie born at 31 weeks) - our little miracle conceived through ART - unexplained secondary infertility/adenomyosis

it says down at the bottom that intermediate risk is less than the risk of invasive testing. at least thats what I picked up from it.
