I started looking around in August as well. I started one post and read a few replies, but it wasn't very helpful. Every now and again I will come on and look at some of the posts and then when I read the responses some of these women make kinda piss me off. It's like most of the people replying enjoy being sarcastic and bitchy to people who are really asking for help. So after today I'm no longer will waste my time with this April board. It's a shame too.

No, I think that the real shame is that people who managed to get pregnant and who magically can use their fingers to type new insipid threads, can't manage to use those fingers to either search old threads, google, or ring up their doctor for any serious concerns.
We are not their medical care provider. We cannot give medical advice for serious things. We are more than happy to offer advice based on past experiences for non-medical things. But usually it's a waste of time because it's been asked several times before. If you're really too lazy to do a search, or you're an attention whore, I fear what sort of shitty parent you might make.
Why are people taking this website so seriously, I feel like people have gone way overboard with their emotions and spending their time on this website, worrying about a community that isn't even real-life it's just the Internet. When I first went on this website three years ago with my first it was simply pregnancy related and people weren't so overly emotional or mean to other people. This whole debacle is ridiculous just let it be a website about pregnancy and stop taking things so seriously, like your life depended on the community of this website. Absurd.

Trigger warning.
After having an unexplained, unanticipated stillbirth ten months ago, and living in a rural area quite far from my entire family, where I have few friends (especially pregnant friends), finding the community at A15 has been one of the few sources of very real support that I have from people who can understand what I have gone through and am going through now.
So I don't think it is emotionally overboard for me to be upset that TB Admin tried their best to dismantle this community.
Not everybody here only wants to bragplain about their weight or discuss nursery decor and diaper bags, not everybody here, @suzygreenie, is as privileged as you apparently are.
I'm sorry you had to go through that. Hugs to you!

I have real life friends I met on this "website," friends I've had for years. Friends who were the first contacted when I gave birth and would be at my house at the drop of a hat if I needed them.
I have lots more I could express about this, but suffice it to say I'm glad you're not one of them, if all this is so stupid to you.
