My Dr office will let you come in for an ultrasound to determine sex for a small fee. I still have until Feb for my official Anatomy scan. But we found out we are having a GIRL. I had a feeling. Her two older brothers are ecstatic!
We had our anatomy scan on Monday. I was so nervous but it turned out okay. It was a very nice office and I felt relaxed while it was happening. The tech was nice although she had some crazy ideas--when she asked whether we wanted a boy or a girl I told her about my whole journey with that and also my scepticism about telling people because of gender stereotypes, and she flat out told me, "Well if it's a girl, she's going to want pink," like this was some kind of given. I told her that I never particularly liked pink and I don't remember ever wanting it. And I'm a girl! I just thought that was kind of ridiculous.
Baby was going crazy in there! The tech kept saying "Hold still baby!" trying to get the pictures she needed. I was thinking Ah the baby is like me already, full of energy! So she got the pictures all out of order. On Wednesday we were able to get the results from the OB and she said everything looks good and she "can't complain." I would have liked a little more information than that! Better vague and good than specific bad but nonetheless, I would have appreciated her going into a little more detail just to reassure me.
We cheated and went to find out the sex early we hadn't announced it to family until today though! So, I'm suuuuper excited to share that we are team BLUE! Yaaaayyy!
Well I just had mine yesterday and am carrying a beautiful baby girl. My husband and I are truly thrilled to share this time together with the support of our family.
We had our anatomy scan today. We knew it was a girl from the fetal chromosomes, but it was amazing to see how big she had gotten. We have a perfectly healthy little girl! Good luck & congrats to all fellow bumpies!
We had our a/s a few days ago and couldn't be more excited to find out it's a boy! After years of thinking it may never happen for us my husband actually teared up during the ultra sound good luck to all the expecting mommies and daddies!
We had our A/S today and baby was not cooperative. He/she was moving so much and was breech and facing the tech. She kept trying to get a profile pic but baby refused. Going back in two weeks to get the pics they couldn't get. The pics they did get were all in the normal range. Also estimated weight was 13 oz and heartbeat was 146 while being super active. We are team green so can't wait till June to see what this little one is then!
Congrats! I had mine 2 days ago and it's also a boy! We were also hoping for a girl since his fam has so about 12 boys and only 2 girls, but our LO was not shy! He was totally showing off his junk! It was funny, we went in not wanting to know but I guess LO wanted us to start a boy nursery Mine showed some really good images but they didn't print out well, he was wiggling and moving around a lot but doc got a great 3D pic of him holding on to me, hugging me, I cried I was so emotional to see him!!! Now comes the hard part... Picking a name
We went in yesterday. They measured me at 20w 3d, which bumped my due date up to 6-2 from 6-13, and they got a very clear shot of our little man! So excited it's a boy!!!
Had ours last week, we are 20 weeks... Dr said everything looked great! It was so cool to see all of our babies organs and bones!! My husband heard the babies heart beat for the first time, so he was way fired up!! We had seen it beating before, and I've heard it on doppler, but this was the first time they turned up the sound during the ultrasound!! Having a sweet baby girl, this is our first, my husband, though very excited, is already talking about this little girl needing a little brother Hope you all enjoy (ed) your experience like we did!!

Haha my husband said the same exact thing last night when we went out to dinner to celebrate! He was like "you know I'm so excited about her...but I'm gonna need a boy at some point, too!" Lucky for him, I'm hoping we'll be able to have a big family so I am all for a baby boy down the road!
Haven't had my a/s yet as it's booked for the 4th feb but this morning from blood results have found out me & my other half are having a baby girl . Now can't wait to see her at my next scan!
We had our A/S early this morning! I was so excited I could hardly sleep last night. Confirmed team pink (we found out early with blood work) and our baby girl is developing perfectly! DH and I are so happy and now we're going to go full force with the nursery and other preparations. Let the countdown begin!
Had my A/S this morning. Things are looking really good for our little girl. I had to get up, walk down the hall and pee before she'd come out of a pretty tight ball so the tech could get a side picture of her abdomen. I love ultrasounds--super fun!
Had our A/S today and everything that they saw looked good but Baby was
covering his/her face. I'm a little nervous because my dad was born with a cleft palate and I'm not sure if they'll be able to tell from the ultrasound. They told me we'd check it when I come
back for Baby's fetal echo in 3 weeks. All this has to be done with the high risk doctor because of the measurements that were off in our first trimester screening. They want to make sure that there are no physical abnormalities that they can see. FX for good results! It was so crazy to actually see the 4 chambers of the heart pumping! Surprisingly
DH was cooperative and looked away when it came time to check the sex. Team Green!!!!
Our A/S was today. Everything looks great, baby is healthy and weighing in at approx. 11 ounces. Oh, and we are officially team PINK!! Here's our sweet baby girl! )
We had our second anatomy scan today, last week she could not the two arteries to the heart so we had to go back. Today we confirmed we have a healthy baby, Team Green. It was fun trying to guess what we thought baby was. We are hearing baby is in the 80th percentile for weight!
