I am sorry you are dealing with this. I had low amniotic fluid with my first. They also diagnosed her with IUGR so after my growth US that morning we met her that afternoon. I will be praying for you as you go through this. My CS happened at 37 weeks but she was still tiny at 5 lbs 4 oz. Be strong mommy!

Hi Mama! Long story short, I went into ptl on Sunday at 35 weeks. Everything has been measuring normally until now. I'm also a Type 1 Diabetic. They did an ultrasound at the hospital and my labor petered out. This whole time I've been told she could be too big, but this morning they called to say she's measuring behind schedule. I have another ultrasound scheduled for tomm, and they may induce me because my body may not be giving her what she needs. I feel helpless and sad, but they'll know what's best. Just trust in the doctors as I am, and know that safety is #1 for the babes. I feel your pain and wish you luck with your birthing experience! I had an emergency C with my first, and was cleared for a VBAC this time, but I may need another C. I'm trusting in God at this point, it's all we can do!

I'm so sorry that you're going through such a scary time and that the community has basically been ripped apart where you need it most. A c-section sucks when you had a plan in place but it won't even matter when all is said and done. You've done everything right so keep your eyes on the prize (a beautiful baby). T&Ps to you and LO.

If it helps, I have heard that the third tri growth scans can be as much as 2 lbs off, and even if it isn't there has to be someone on the 10% side of the scale of things! They can't all be average, right?

Good luck. Having a c-section wasn't as bad as I feared with my first baby. Not at all what I wanted but in the end I had my LO with me and that was all that mattered. Sending you well wishes!
