Had my anatomy scan yesterday and everything looked good. Baby is healthy, measuring 2 days behind but nothing they're changing my due date for. It was wonderful seeing him for the first time!
Im having an utrasound tomorrow at 16w2d just curious but did anyone have an internal us after the first appt? They didnt warn me or anything last time and it was really uncomfortable. Has anyone had to have one for the gender check before? I want to be prepared.
I had transvaginal ultrasounds at 8w, 11w, 15w, and 16w. The first was a dating u/s the other 3 were for unexplained bleeding (STILL don't know the cause!). We found out it was a boy during the 16w transvaginal u/s. At the 16w she switched to abdominal after taking measurements of my cervix from the inside.
I don't think they will do a t/v ultrasound unless they need to at 16w. Really the only reason she had to do it for me was to measure the cervix.
I have my a/s on Feb 3. I really really hope I'm all done with the dildo camera ultrasounds (uncomfortable, ugh, and always causes me more bleeding because it irritates my cervix).
I had my scan this morning and Baby J is NOT cooperating. The doctor did it herself and monkeyed around for a good 35 minutes before telling us that we are all healthy and things look great- but my little breech baby (which is ok for 16 weeks) has decided to sit ankles crossed and show us nothing but the backside spine and head!
I was about to cry since she said waiting another 5 weeks before hubby said "Can we just have the bloodwork test done to find out sooner?" So 10 more days (WAY better than the 5 weeks) and we should know! SO frustrating!

Baby Jackson (our first!) EDD 6/30/15 based on DOC
After the scheduling error, we final got to see our baby five hours after our orginal appointment. They weren't able to get all the shots they needed so I will get another scan next month. At the end of the scan the tech was telling me my ob would be in, and I asked "were you able to see what it was? Are we having a boy or girl?" And she looked at me and said "oh I thought you already knew. It's a girl. Most people do the blood scan."

We were excited to find out we have a healthy boy developing. My son was thrilled to find out he will have a baby brother. And, as I had suspected from my lack of feeling baby kicks - I do, in fact, have an anterior placenta.
Had my monthly checkup last week (January 8th - 16w5d) and my doctor said it was a boy-- have my anatomy scan on January 31st so I'm sure it will confirm it!
I'm excited and happy no matter what-- although my husband was hoping for a girl. He said at least we would save money on not having to buy all the "cute girl things" haha.

Congrats to everyone! I have an official due date of June 1st (per my anatomy scan yesterday) even though SHE will be here in May because I'll be having a c-section. I knew from the beginning it was a girl, but my husband and mother insisted she was a boy. I saw the little girl parts about 10 minutes before she actually went to announce. I think my mom was more shocked than anyone, but we are all very excited. I know they say you shouldn't but I drank a cup of coffee about and hour and a half before my scan and boy was she moving around!
We go on January 16th! Taking our daughter with us to the big reveal. She is only 2 years old but she knows baby is on the way. I think she will enjoy coming with us.
That's awesome! My OB won't let us do the bloodwork unless we are super high risk (which we aren't, thankfully), so I'll be at the mercy of the ultrasound tech.
Had my anatomy scan today, LO was being stubborn and wouldn't move from being a curled up ball. Turns out that after the 20 weeks of thinking we're having a girl, mothers intuition was wrong and we're expecting a little boy!
I just got the anatomy scan ultrasound done this morning!! Everything looks healthy and good. baby is a GIRL!! I am still trying to get that to seem real.
Had my a/s this afternoon. It was on the early side at 18w4d so I have to go back in four weeks. But the doc said everything looks good and he sees nothing he is concerned with at this time. I'm very happy that everything looks good but I was kind of bummed there were no really good, "look there's baby" moments. And we didn't get any pictures! Team Green and they honored our wishes. Wee beastie is 8 ounces!
Congratulations to everyone! Mine is 1.29, I'll be 20w5d. Can't wait! Especially since I became an aunt yesterday. My sis-in-law had a girl around 11 pm
I had my anatomy scan today at 19w5d and am officially team PINK!
I have to admit I was kind of surprised - I really felt like it would be a boy. I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about and my gut feelings are unreliable because there was some pretty clear labia and a total lack of penis.
Baby is perfectly healthy, estimated to be around 12 oz and measuring right on schedule except for the arms and legs were measuring around 21-22 weeks. (Baby definitely did not get the long arms and legs from me!) The MFM doctor does still want us to go see a specialist down in Seattle for a fetal echocardiogram. DH and his twin sister were both born with heart defects. The defect was most likely due to the fact that they were 10 weeks premature, but they just want to make sure every thing is good and there isn't a post-birth surgery that needs to be planned for.
I got a few pics:

Here is our little girl. Her EDD is June 1st. This scan is at 17 weeks. As of today I am halfway through the pregnancy and everything has been going pretty smoothly!
I have to go back because they couldn't do all the scans of the heart that they needed because of the position so I will see baby and confirm sex again in 2-3 weeks
I tried to edit my previous post to add the pictures but couldn't.. Imagine that.. A computing student haha! I'm trying to add it from my camera roll. Anyways, here is our little boy!
I had my scan last week. It was wonderful to see our little boy! Everything looks perfect and healthy so I couldn't be happier.
Only bummer is...at the end of the scan I said, "wow I can't wait to see all this again on the DVD!" And the technician said, "oh you wanted a DVD? You are supposed to ask for that at the very beginning. Its too late now."
I mean, at that point there was no sense in getting upset so I wasn't BUT I do think she should just start out every session by asking instead of expecting first time moms to just know the drill. I kind of hinted a little at that and she said she thought the Dr should tell everyone the process about ordering DVDs. Hmmm. :-/
We had our scan this afternoon. It was really cool! They didn't say much as far as health, weight/length, or any of that stuff. Apparently, we have to wait for tomorrow to go over the results with my doctor, but he did tell us it's a BOY! We are so crazy excited. A boy is going to be so fun!
Oh gosh! Our a/s is tomorrow at 1pm EST!! I'm so excited!! I haven't been able to sleep all week.. I have a 17 mo son and cannot wait to find out if he will have a lil bro or sis!! Eeek!!!! Xo to all!! This is def our final baby so I'm just trying to enjoy all this excitement!! Now for a gender reveal!!! Gosh, I hope the wee one cooperates!! Hehe!!
We found out two weeks ago (I was only 18w1d!) but are trying to keep quiet till the gender reveal party...I am too excited though!! My 15-month old princess is going to have a little sister! I already bought them matching coming-home outfits, I can't. Too much cute. The schweet schweet babes!
