And to say your doctor told you Petite women gain more weight is also a lie. I was 115 prior to pregnancy and have gained 15 lbs due the beginning of March. My sister is the same size and also all belly with all of her children. You are just making excuses.
I tried to be nice about it and you called me snotty. Wasn't that same person saying they eat French fries and donuts? Yeah, the weight just appeared out of nowhere. That makes total sense.
Some people don't gain weight because of metabolism and other factors. It doesn't mean eating junkfood is healthy and won't have consequences. Like I said earlier being healthy isn't all about how you look. Skinny people can be just as unhealthy. But, an overweight person especially someone who gains 50 lbs gained it because of lifestyle choices. Some people aren't informed enough about what is actually healthy. In my opinion no one should ever be eating fried food or fast food, especially when their pregnant because there is absolutely no nutritional value. I actually care about what my baby is taking in but that's just me.
I lied about nothing, I care about people's health is why I even chose to comment. Usually I just read all of you bullying anyone that celebrates health or talks about their weight because you are all clearly insecure and fat and won't let anyone else be happy for themselves. It's pathetic.

I've seen atleast 3 posts where people talked about their weight and were told they were bragging or being insensitive to people who haven't had such a good pregnancy. Shouldn't you be happy for people who have been lucky to enjoy it instead of being jealous and rude to them? One woman said "yay me" because she has kept a healthy weight and multiple women were offended by that. She should be saying "yay me" good for her for being happy for herself and how dare anyone say otherwise. It seems when someone posts something you don't agree with you just post insulting memes like a child in middle school. I've never seen such disgusting behavior from grown women nevermind mothers to be.
I'm pretty sure most of the weight I've gained is from growing a baby inside my body. Why anyone would call a pregnant woman out on a 50 lb weight gain is beyond me.

Oh, that's right. Thin people have naturally good genetics to thank for being thin and there are medical reasons for NOT gaining weight. But overweight people are just lazy and stupid and there is never a medical reason behind weight gain. Thanks PP for the reminder of how that works.
So wait, wait- I'm supposed to trust your BU degree in nutrition over both my OB and my perinatal specialist? Because I've gained about 35lbs and they see no issue.
I've been out on bed and pelvic rest so I can't exercise. Does that make me lazy for not endangering my child so I stay under your recommended limit?
Also- weight doesn't come from nowhere you're right- but weight also doesn't solely come from which food you eat or how many calories you burn. Weight can't be explained 100% by thermodynamics. Especially if you have a condition known as PREGNANCY.
And to your last "slam" - yes we're all either already parents or about to be parents, and I'm sure glad that most of us aren't feeding out children ideas that weight, body shape, and fat content are governed solely on what you eat and how much you workout- because that's just ignorant.
I can't believe you're someone's mother. That is very sad.
Same can be said about you. Can't wait to see the negative body image and poor eating habits you inflict on your child. I can only hope you aren't having a daughter. You're a very negative, mean person and that tone portrays over the internet well. Good luck in life and getting people to like you and what not. Being that condescending must hurt.
Haha look at what I miss when family visits! If the donut comment was for me, I have devastating news for you: I've only gained 15 lbs during my pregnancy too. Ooooooo, threw all your edumacation on its ear there.
You women are awesome, I'm so impressed. I hope marchbaby took your advice and found a bag of dicks to suck on. That's probably what's keeping her busy right now, actually.
I ate 2 donuts this am. And strawberry shortcake. Because fruit is healthy. It helps me not gain too much weight...it's how I've kept to 15 lbs this far. Thank you so much for affirming that my good food decisions will help me from gaining too much weight. I'm gonna go eat another donut but with OJ to make it a complete and healthy meal.

This. You have no place to criticize anyone on parenting based on what I'm seeing of you in this thread. Your behavior and attitude are disgusting.
My haggard trolls took care of the rest...just wanted to second the opinion that *we* are not the parents you need to worry about.
Oh my sweet Lord, THIS is what I come back to after a few hours? This 100% BULLSHIT idiotic mess?
@marchbaby123...let me spell something out for you. I was a D1 cheerleader. I've been an athlete my entire life. I am 5'3 and started my pregnancy at 115. YES, I have gained fifty pounds. And YES, I have questioned it at every appointment. My REAL LIFE medical DOCTOR has assured me that I am fine, and that it is probably a good bit of fluid gain. Looking at me, you wouldn't know I had gained such a large number....I still walk as exercise (because it isn't recommended to begin strenuous exercise mid pregnancy -- and I was on bedrest for five weeks first tri), I am conscious of my caloric intake, and I fucking know what is good for me to eat and what isn't. So %phd in "nutrition". Pretty sure anyone who is truly in the field of health and nutrition would NEVER come on here and belittle people like you've done. I have friends who are nutritionists, who ALSO say I am just fine. Unless you are about 4'10", I would be concerned about only gaining 15lbs from 115--not bragging about it.
It takes a special kind of asshole to fat/body shame a bunch of pregnant women.
I don't care how much weight I gain while I am pregnant, I am PROUD of my body and the amazing things it is doing.
Plus, my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. But even if your milkshake doesn't, it doesn't matter. Every woman deserves to feel proud of her body.

I usually try to eat healthy but have been eating a ton of bagels & muffins this pregnancy sometimes in the same day! But after reading this I really want a good donut from one of those fancy places not dunks aw man!!!
I know this thread needs to die...but as someone who has a pituitary microadenoma and thyroid disease that I can't fully treat while pregnant, I am glad I have only gained 50 pounds. So because I have a compromised metabolism I'm lazy. Thanks.
Picking up a baby and taking the stairs at work does not count as exercise. If you knew anything about fitness you probably wouldn't make comments like that, that just justify how lazy you really are. Chick filet once a week? Hmm I can't imagine where that 50 lbs came from? Couldn't possibly be the ice cream either. Fried chicken is absolutely full of nutrients. I love my fit pregnancy body and I work hard for it. I won't feel bad about standing up for nutrition and fitness because it's what keeps me happy and healthy. If you all can't accept the fact that excessive weight gain comes from personal life choices then you're naive.

I guess they skip that part of the curriculum for the nutrition phd program at Bullshit University.

Aaahahaha, did she just say that stair flights don't burn calories? Better go let all the gym bunnies know they're not excersizing on the stair master.
I wish this troll was at least intelligent. Intelligent trolls are so much more fun
I just love how she just keeps digging deeper and deeper. I agreed with her at first- healthy eating and exercise is a good way to live. But the way she came off...wowzas. B!tch mode has gone waaaaaay off the radar. People not only come in all colors but shapes and sizes as well. Just because *you* are healthy at your weight, doesn't mean that's right for everyone else. Just because *your* exercise regime works for you, doesn't mean it will work for me. There are those of us who are fighting illnesses that you know absofreakinglutely nothing about. So, eff off. Go back to your bridge to hide under.
Every woman absolutely does deserve to be proud of their body. That means not feeding it high fructose corn syrup, complex carbs, sugar and fat and blaming your 50 lb weight gain on a thyroid problem. Let's be serious. Im proud of my body because I take care of it not because I use my pregnancy as an excuse to be a gluttonous slob. I feed myself and my baby what we need to be active and healthy. Food is fuel not for comfort.

You should eat a bag of dicks. Those are very low calorie.
Probably some fat turd on the other side of the screen that feels bad about their own weight gain and has to put others down. Sad fucking life you live lady! (Or dude, who knows with the internet now)
Fried chicken once a WEEK? That is disgusting. And will for sure contribute to weight gain. Fried food is the worst thing for your body. It's literally frying your food in pure fat. No wonder all of you think weight gain comes out of thin air, because you know nothing about food and what it does to your bodies. I wouldn't eat that garbage if you paid me.
Pro tip: stack two pieces of fried chicken on top of each other and eat them at the same time, your body won't know you're eating more than one. It's just science

Buh-bye, cupcake.

BTW @ Marchbaby123, you still haven't answered how I've gained the same amount of weight as you while occasionally eating donuts. I wants to knoooow!
