In Labor and Delivery *UPDATE 5*

Well this isn't how I thought today would start. I went to the bathroom around 11 and noticed I was bleeding a fair amount. Naturally I freaked out, got dressed and headed for the hospital where I met up with my SO. They brought me right into L&D and hooked me up to the monitor. His heartbeat is good and strong and I am not in active labor. Thank god! Waiting on an US now to check the placenta. I will take any thoughts and prayers I can get! Thank you
Update- just got back from the US. Everything looks normal, no issues with the placenta. Baby looks great and is weighing 2lbs 15oz. They think it was a burst blood vessel, but aren't positive why I'm bleeding. Waiting for the doctor to come up now, but so far all good news! Thanks so much for all the love
Update 2- I am home now. They discharged me, all the tests were normal and baby is good so they said it was probably just a blood vessel that burst. No definite answer though, and I am still bleeding a little. They told me to f/u with my OB, who I spoke to and she put me on pelvic rest until my next appointment on the 20th. Thanks again for all the support!
UPDATE 3- had an appt with my regular OB today, they saw some blood leaking from my cervix so they are concerned. They are sending me into the hospital to labor and delivery be monitored and get another US. Will update again once I know anything.
UPDATE 4- in labor and delivery hooked up to the monitor again. Just had an US and everything looked normal, baby is very active! Waiting for the doctor to come in again and see what they want to do. They are probably going to put me on bed rest for the time being to see if the bleeding will stop. No clear answers as to the cause yet.
UPDATE 5- I am home now, on bedrest for the time being, at least until the bleeding completely stops for at least 48 hours. Still no cause, but all the tests were good so they sent me home. Thanks again for all the love! I appreciate it!
