At the time we were just friends but decided to go on a double date (a movie, Blades of Glory) and hook his brother up with another friend of mine. We ended up together and his brother and my friend never saw each other again.

Met on eHarmony and after a few weeks of chatting on the phone he took me to a Nationals game. Afterwards we had pizza and neither of us wanted the date to end so we just didn't end it.
The ballgame was on 7/1/11 and we were living together by September, married the following March. I'm hoping this baby comes a few days early (I'm due on the 5th) because I'm sentimental like that.

We met after the first couple of days in 9th grade. We sat two seats over from each other in English and started talking all the time. Even though we were inseparable pretty much right off the bat, we didn't make it official till a couple months later. When we did, our "first date" was a double date to the movies with some friends of ours. We saw The Divinci Code. We are total movie people, haha. Met at 14 and 15 and were married by 16 and 17. It will be 7 years of marriage for us this month on the 24th :x

I met my DH at his birthday party. A group of friends from church threw him a party. We were both fairly new to the group so I didn't know him. We sat next to each other around the fire and he asked me how to download twitter to his phone. Lol.

A couple weeks later I was thinking about him and I went through my friends contacts while she was sleeping and found his number. I started texting him and we never stopped.

First date was supposed to be out to eat alone but the same group texted us and asked if we wanted to do a group thing at a Chinese restaurant. We left early and walked the trail through the park for a couple hours. Then he took me back to my friends apartment.

We got married after dating for 5 months and we've been together for 5 years. This will be our 3rd child.

We met online. He had a German Shepherd in one of his photos and I have one so I messaged him and said my dog wanted to know if his dog wants to go to the dog park. He thought that was funny and we talked for a couple weeks because I was bedridden with mrsa.

After texting pretty much non stop for 2 weeks, I drove to his house an hour away because he had his son and nephew who had gone to bed already. We talked for 4 hours and hit it off. The next day, we went to a downtown area that was all lit up with Christmas lights and drank hot cocoa and walked around. When it was time to go home, we both said we didn't want to, and went to a movie. We saw love and other drugs. Basically softcore porn on our first date lol. He told his mom the next day that I was the one and we've been together ever since.

We actually met when we were 12 at a lithuanian community event. We were family friends and kept running into each other on and off throughout the years. During my last semester at the community college, I saw him after about 4 years since we just happened to have classes right across the hall from each other. After a few weeks of talking before class, we went to the elephant bar restaurant. Became exclusive after a few weeks, which was in December, got engaged in March and married in June... 3 years later, and here we are!

We met at University through a mutual friend. Him and my friend rented a house with a few other guys and there was no hydro when they moved in. I was the only person they could think of who had a car to take them to the hydro offices to get it set up. The deal was alcohol at a party in exchange for the ride. We hit it off, I claimed my alcohol became good friends. 6 months later we started dating and will have been together a decade this year.

Our first real date was to dinner and a movie (which ended up being terrible). I freaked him out with a good night hug. I took us at least a month for our first kiss!

We worked as day camp counselors together and ended up becoming best friends pretty quickly. At the time, I was in a LDR with another guy but that wasnʻt really working out and FI helped talk me through all the pain and what not of the break up (it was hard because ex-bf and I had conceived and went through a miscarriage, but he left me to deal with the loss alone which was when our LDR started).

Through all of that, I realized that the right guy had been in front of me all along (cue rom-com movie scene). We went to the mall and watched a movie on our first "official" date.

We consider our first date on New Year's Eve. The next day after we met, we went to a performance I had tickets for and then went to his place to watch a movie. We were both in the army when we met, and he was in my best friends unit. She introduced us on facebook but I was dating someone else at the time so nothing became of it.
A few months later, I commented on a picture of his baby, and he messaged me instead of commenting on the picture. He SWEARS it was an accident, still does. We never stopped talking! First date was about a month later, I was staying at a hotel for a military mission and he said he'd come by and keep me company, and well he sure did! Four years later we're married and still just as crazy for each other as we were back then.

We met when we both started working at a new CarMax that opened up nearby. I had to convince him I was worthy of a date, and once he finally agreed he took me to a place I used to LOVE going to as a kid (which he had no idea). It's a homemade ice cream shop that also has a mini golf course, basketball area, arcade, and mini zoo. It's under fire at the moment because there is a bear that lives there (Little Ricky) who has been there for something like 19 years in an enclosed pen. But she is so sweet and fun to visit. I feel bad for her but I will miss her if she gets removed.
