We met at church. The first time he invited me anywhere was to Easter lunch at his family's house. We didn't start dating until a few months later. Then most of our dates centered around roller blading and fishing.

Met him online & chatted for over a month (he lived in a different province & our work schedules didn't match) before meeting up.

I used a sick day at work & drove to his place. At the time he worked nights milking cows, so I ended up going with him. So technically, I milked cows on a first date.

We were introduced through a mutual friend. One of my high school best guy friends lived and rowed with him in college. When we both ended up in the same city after college, we crossed paths.

We went out to dinner and then to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree (it was mid-December). We try to hit up the tree every year now as a mini celebration (even if only briefly because, ugh tourists).

5 years later, and 1 failed engagement on my part, we reconnected on FB. Started chatting and texting daily. Hung out on the 4th of July, hooked up the next night, and the rest is history!

We first met through Christian mingle and we both decided to meet at a boardwalk close to us that has rides, shops, and restaurants that's by the water. It was beautiful, cool, and the waves were crashing. (I remember that because I got wet a little bit lol) and we ate at a steakhouse before going on rides. After the rides we talked for a while and then kissed and it has been history ever since

Funny thing I remember is the steakhouse we went to I got chicken tenders (a safe choice, since it was my first date ever) and when he was looking down chewing his food, I started choking on my chicken. I was so embarrassed and I thought he didn't notice. About a couple months after our first date he brought that up and was laughing about it and I said you saw that?! And he was like yeah I didn't want to make you feel like a dork so I acted like I didn't noticed. Lol he brings it up to people to this day. I love him haha.

I work in a pub/bar and he was a customer. We were friends for a few years then got together. Been together over 3 years now, our first date was just drinks in a different bar. Talked for hours and even remember talking about kids and how many we would want and if we would find out sex. So we are both sticking to our words and not finding out! Love reminiscing

We officially met at work when we were both 17. I knew who he was though because we went to school together until the 8th grade. I did not like him when I first started! Then we started talking and he asked me on a date. That was 9 years ago and we've been happily married for 4!

Accounting class at Junior College. He saw me from across the room and made it a point to talk to me (which has never, ever happened). He called me at midnight for homework help one night and we became buddies. Broke up with my boyfriend for him... 

12 years, almost 7 years of marriage, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 1/2 kidlets later....

We met at a bar! And our first date was the next day.. On Valentine's Day we watched movies at my place, I believe Romeo and Juliet and of course neither of us mentioned it being Valentine's Day because that would have been weird.

Even after me telling him multiple times I don't want to get interested in anyone (was just screwed over pretty bad by someone) he wouldn't stop trying and making me laugh so I said we could hangout. Hung out the next day and didn't leave each others side for 2 months(literally) haha we definitely have time to ourselves now. And now we are here.

We kept in touch through email and IM's, met up at a Halloween party, then he drove up to see me (I was finishing college, forever student here), took me to dinner (Chilis but this was maine and there isn't much up where I went to school), and we rented a seedy hotel room and slept together. Been together ever since lol

I was still learning how to at that point, so I wasn't the most graceful snowboarder, but he was so patient. We went back to the bar in the lodge and had a lot to drink. We had a great time and it took off from there.

I had just graduated nursing school and moved by myself to the middle of nowhere 12hrs from home. My first day of work in the small town hospital there was a big accident and DH was the paramedic who brought the patient in. I was so nervous because it was my first day and I am NOT an emerge nurse. I was going to take a BP and the machine wasn't working and I couldn't find a stethoscope that wasn't being used so I asked him if he could get a Bp for me. He looked at me like I was the dumbest thing in the world but did it. That night I went home and when talking to my friends I told them all about 'hottie ambulance', I think the Mohawk he had at the time is what really attracted me to him. One of the nurses mentioned he had a girlfriend (he didn't) so I didn't talk to him for another two months.

When we finally talked, I embarrassed myself horribly again and turned him down in front of his partner. The next day I was walking my pup past the base and he invited us in. So I guess our first 'date' was eating pasta in the base and he let me look around the ambulance.

We met online when we were in high school, through a mutual friend. It was when everyone I knew was playing Wheel of Fortune on MSN. Both of us kept winning against our mutual friend, so he got us to play against each other. 

Our "first date" ended up being us playing Super Nintendo at his house. We were both too nervous to even sit next to each other!

Anyway, we've been together since 2006, married in 2012!

Our first date was a hike / doggy play date with our dogs. Right in the middle of the trail, my dog drops a huge #2 that rolls all the way down the steep trail.  It was funny/embarrassing.  Also, the main activity that sparked an initial interest in each other was skiing/snowboarding.  DH skiis and I snowboard, and he joked that we're doing our part for world peace by being together.

My best friend (at the time) had invited him over for me to 'approve' of him, she was interested in him romantically. We ended up going on the date the next day and got married a year and a half later... Lets just say her and my relationship has not been the best since.   

Our first date was just riding around back roads in his Wrangler with no top, and then a nice dinner at a Japanese steakhouse.

Five years ago, we went to Hawaii with a mutual friend (as just friends), realized we were in love with each other, and have been together ever since. We got married last October, and this is our first baby. Oh, and DH, that mutual friend, and I all share a birthday- July 25. I'm due July 26!

My New Years eve plans fell apart shortly before the actual nigh, so I ended up going to this house party with my friends. DH hosted the party. At that point he was very much into my friend. We only said hi to each other and that was it. I ended up partying the night away with some other guy. Two months later we met up again at a Valentine's singles party organized by a college student association we both belonged to. We danced the night away. I asked him out for a date the following day, as I had tickets to a concert and my date stood me out. We have been together ever since then.

College sweethearts. He was a frat guy, I was a sorority girl. I really have no idea what our "first date" was but he became my best friend first and my boyfriend second. We started dating almost 13 years ago, made it though college and grad school, a year and a half of long distance, got married 5 1/2 years ago and are awaiting baby #2.

We met in college. We were a part of the same Christian campus ministry. The first time we hung out together alone we just went to Panera Bread. But our first official date was at his apartment. He can't cook so he got my favorite, Chinese takeout, and arranged it all nice on plates and set up a fake crackling fire on the TV haha. It was cute.

Our first date was marathon date that lasted about 8 hours. We went to the driving range and hit balls, grabbed dinner, saw a movie, got ice cream and then sat outside and talked until 2a.m.

It was the first week of school and we were both new students at a university. I had just made a new friend (who happened to have gone to my HS, but we only had mutual friends) and she had just met him also. He came to sit with us at breakfast and we went to all the orientation events together. Two days later it was the weekend and everyone was going home for the weekend so I told him we should hang out.

Our first date was hiking at a state park. He asked me to be his girlfriend that same day.

We went separate ways, had shitty relationships, then started talking again. We kissed at midnight on New Years at a club (I was 21 then) and the rest is history
