2. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Not great - I have a lot of symptoms but am just desperate to see/hear a heartbeat so I can feel excited and like this is real. I tried with my doppler which I expected to be a big fail, and it was. I am just frustrated that I have to wait until 11 weeks.
3. Appointments this week?
I have an appt on Thursday morning, but I know they don't have a u/s machine there. Is it worth begging her to try the doppler?
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)?

2. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Not good today. After a lot of bad news here yesterday and on other bump boards I was already feeling shaky. Then I woke up with a reprieve from my symptoms this morning and I'm feeling really anxious. This is getting to me even more since my symptoms have been so much worse this time then last time.
I did take a unisom last night so I know that may be helping but it hasn't helped this much other days.
3. Appointments this week? My first OB appt is tomorrow. It would be nice to get another look but since I had an u/s last week I'm not expecting it.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)?
Pasta of any kind!

2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Good at the moment. We heard the heartbeat on our Doppler for the first time last night so that will be a life saver! Our Doc has been amazing and even got us in for a free off the books ultrasound last week (we were freaking out about nausea decreasing
3. Appointments this week? We go back in on the 15th though I don't think we get a US then. The Doppler will be what keeps us sane until the next US.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? BBQ brisket but that has been a trigger for nausea/vomiting so I have stayed away from beef for the most part.
@meatandBandP my heart is so sad for her today. I wish there was something I could do.
@piedpiper07 it is a bit early for the doppler but doesn't hurt to ask at your appointment.

2. How is PGAL brain treating you? I'm still reeling after my friend's loss. Now any wierd pain or cramping has me scared. I even took another test this morning and immediately began analyzing the darkness of the line. That will be the last test I take.
3. Appointments this week? Nothing. I still have over 2 weeks until my first appointment. Torture.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? As a certified foodie, I really can't pick a favorite. So I'll pick a few! Yellow Curry (I make an amazing homemade version), Creamy chicken an dumplings, pot roast, rare steak, and my husband's mushroom bacon risotto.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Worried all the time even a gas pain can make me nervous
3. Appointments this week? Tomorrow i go for my second scheduled ob appt(i had an emergency appt right before christmas due to spotting). I think they are doing a glucose test
GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? right now I cant get enough chinese food specifically fried rice and won ton soup

2. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Surprisingly better than I imagined. I'm feeling very relieved the lovenox injections are easier and less painful than I was imagining. Taking it day by day and keeping things in perspective.
3. Appointments this week?
First appointment with my Ob after 2 appointments with my mfm.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)?
Hibachi steak and noodles!!!! Yum!!

2. PGAL brain has been surprisingly non-existent most of the time. This is my 3rd pregnancy and no babies yet, so I thought for sure I'd be so worried about every little thing, but I have this weird sense of calm this time. Knock on wood!
3. Appt this week: I am on Estradiol pills and Crinone, and they're trying to wean me off, so I have to get my levels checked again this week. Hopefully they're high enough because I'm so sick of all these medications I'm on right now! I'm also getting the Panorama test done on Thursday. I'm so excited to find out the sex! I feel like that will help make this more real. We should get results back around by 12 week u/s.
4. GtKY: I love anything and everything with noodles. Spaghetti, Pad Thai, Pho, Bun, etc etc.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? I'm a mess this week. I had a not-so-great ultrasound on Friday and I'm really worried. I measured a week behind (it's not possible that I ovulated a week later based on when I got my BFP). We could only see the gestational sac and yolk sac, measuring at 5w1d. I'm trying to hold on to some hope but I'm also preparing myself for the worst. But I have had an increase in symptoms the past few days so I'm hoping that's a good sign.
3. Appointments this week? Follow up ultrasound Thursday afternoon to see if there's been any growth.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? Lasagna (my mom's)

2. How is PGAL brain treating you?
I keep over analyzing every little cramp or twinge. I had no reason to suspect a loss last time and I keep worrying it's going to happen the same way again.
3. Appointments this week?
Nope. First appointment it's a on the 26th with the nurse.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? Pasta or porcupine meatballs.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? I'm ok with the baby currently baking this week. Friday is the due date for our loss. I'm dreading it with every piece of me.
3. Appointments this week? Just got home from my first midwife appointment. It went really well. My MW is amazing.

2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Not good. Although I was ecstatic to see my baby yesterday and saw the heart beating away, I have been struggling with all the losses surrounding me on the board and in life. My SIL, who was 4 weeks further along than me had her 12 week appointment yesterday and found out that they lost the baby. I am heartbroken for them, and they live so far away that I can't even hug her.
3. Appointments this week? Yesterday. It was amazing. I cried, H was speechless.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? Sushi. All the sushi, all the time.

3. Appointments this week?

4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)?
I make this spicy, turkey sausage pasta that puts Olive Garden to shame.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Pretty good, although I hate seeing all the losses on the board. I'm trying to stay optimistic because all my losses were pre-HB and I've heard LO's HB twice now.
3. Appointments this week? U/s this morning showed 174 bpm and baby waved at us! Only measuring 1 day behind now...a vast improvement from measuring 9 days behind when I was 7w2d.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? Um, I have so many food aversions right now I can't even think what my fav is...
2. My PGAL brain isn't to bad since my u/s Friday from spotting. Strong heart beat and our little muffin is def moving around in there even though I can't feel it just yet.
3. No appointments this week patiently waiting on the 22nd
4. My favorite meal is spaghetti with green pepper and mushroom sauce, bread sticks, and a salad with ranch

2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Okay I suppose. We saw a heartbeat of 107 last week at 6w2d but baby measured a couple of days behind. My rational side knows that's no big deal but I can't help but freak out a little bit.
3. Appointments this week? I had one this past Friday, and I have another one next Wednesday with another ultrasound.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? Probably Mexican food.

@piedpiper07 Sending T&P your way.
1. How far along are you? What fruit?
7w6d, blueberry.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Not great. There are some losses from people I care deeply about that are hitting me hard. And I feel like such a shit for saying that because I can't imagine what they're going through and I don't want to make it about me.
I've also either caught a cold or am developing a sinus infection and don't want to deal with the whole call the Triage Nurse, wait for a call back, go in and talk to nurse and then wait until clinic hours to see doctor dance so I'm trying to hold out until Friday for my appointment.
Also (I know, long) I'm still a little pissed at the L&D nurse who did my orientation. She just seemed a little fear-monger-y. And I feel like the GD test yesterday was kind of a waste of time. It's so early and I don't want to get an incorrect diagnosis. It seemed like she was so sure that I must have blood sugar problems even though it says in my chart that I don't and never have had them. I'm not denying that GD can develop, but just basing it on my weight is annoying.
Also, appointment Friday and I'm nervous. We've seen the heartbeat once, but everything still feels so up in the air.
3. Appointments this week?
Friday with my doc and if it goes well I won't have another one for about a month. I think H's work is suspicious because he's wanted to be there for all of my appointments. After my orientation yesterday I'm kind of overwhelmed with the amount of classes I'm supposed to sign up for.
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)?
Hmmm. Since I'm sick I'm really food adverse right now this is hard. I have to say that fried chicken drumsticks (and specifically drumsticks) are one thing that sounds amazing. I also ate an entire little take-out container of green olives this morning.

2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Not so bad. There are days that I'm all "heck yes this thing is growing and this pregnancy rocks!" We've seen the heartbeat (a solid 140 last friday at 7w2d) and my labs came back all within the normal range. I haven't had any spotting this time so my mantra is "everything is ok until my body tells me otherwise." Other days I'm terrified that the next appointment I go to the baby won't have grown any since the last one and it will be awful. We've already told immediate family, bosses, and some close friends and aren't shy about word getting out. The more prayers the better!
3. Appointments this week? Not for another 4 weeks if *fingers crossed* everything goes according to plans and little nugget keeps growing. I now have an every 4 week regular visit and the DownSyndrome early ultrasound scan scheduled (Feb 12). Having the perinatal office separate from my ob's office call kind of freaked me out though!
4. GTKY: What is your favorite food/meal (when not having aversions)? Leftover spaghetti, but basically any kind of pasta. Also, french fries - the good crispy kind!
I'm right there with you ladies. I tear up every time I read about another loss. And my heart is especially breaking for Becky. :-(

2. How is PGAL brain treating you? I passed the benchmarks of both my prior losses as of today which is giving me some relief. I am actually much less anxious this time around. Going to acupuncture has helped and as depressing as it sounds, I try to keep my expectations managed by thinking even if it's not this baby, we will have a baby.
3. Appointments this week? We have our first u/s tomorrow.
