BFP Dec 3 EDD August 12 I'm 25 and DH is 27. We had a chemical pregnancy in August so we've been cautiously optimistic. Just heard the heartbeat this week
Bfp- dec 1 Edd- july 31-aug 1 depending how I look This is my 3rd pregnancy, 15.y.o son and a 11 y.o daughter. Not married but we've been together almost 10 years. Father is 40 and this is his first baby, an I am 33.
I suppose it's time to make an introduction. I am one of the moderators for the April 2014 board. My name is WifeofaComposer, but most people just abbreviate to WoaC.
I have an almost 8-year-old son named Orion, but I always call him Skippy. I also have a hilarious, gorgeous 8-month old son that we call G-Unit.
My husband and I have been through a lot of challenges and we always rise to the top more in love with each other - he's my best friend.
I had a natural miscarriage at 8 weeks in 2005, Skippy was born in 2007 - both from a previous relationship (which ended when I got pregnant with Skippy). With my husband, I had a missed miscarriage resulting in a D&C at 11 weeks in 2012, a late loss followed by an ERS procedure at 19 weeks in 2013 - that was Henrietta, and she was perfect. I had gotten very sick and the antibiotic I was given caused me to have anaphylaxis and my body couldn't support her little self. Now we have our better than perfect little boy, who was born via C-section in April 2014. I had 2 weeks of prodromal labor leading up to his birth and I've since started a support group on Facebook to help other moms experiencing such frustration. And, here we are with another perfect babe on the way.
This pregnancy is a HUGE shock. I'm still breastfeeding my 8-month-old and we've been using birth control, so...yeah. SURPRISE!! I went to the doctor because I thought I had some kind of vitamin deficiency making me feel rundown. She poked my abdomen and said, "I think you're pregnant" and sent me for an immediate ultrasound and that's where our little 7-weeker was discovered with a great, strong heartbeat. That was 2 weeks ago, and I'm still dumbfounded. It hasn't sunk in with me yet. My husband is over the moon with excitement, and he's pretty freakin' cute about it.
I have yet to experience any first trimester nasties other than low energy, and I am not complaining one bit. Every pregnancy before this one has made me feel miserable.

I'm high risk due to factor v and family history of dvts, as well as a crazy thyroid. I've been on lovenox shots every night since 6 wks and will continue until 6 weeks post delivery

I will start off though, I am Mel, a first time mommy, first pregnancy. Really paranoid. I am going to be 33 in February, my BF is 26 ( heehee) and he took the news very well and has been a wonderful support.
I am also bipolar, so my mood swings have been off the charts and that was one reason I thought I might be pregnant.
I took my first test the Thursday before Christmas, using the First Response the up to five days one.....of course they were all on sale....another sign! Used it before and was always negative. Within a minute it was positive!
Went to doc the next day and another positive test, blood work done a few days later and that came back positive, but my thyroid is off.
My expected due date given by doc based on my last MS is August 23rd.
And I need to book my appointment for my first US.
Hi everyone, I have been holding off on doing an intro because I am being a little overly cautious since we conceived via IVF due to lifelong PCOS. We did 2 rounds of unsuccessful IUI's as an insurance requirement, but I felt that a third (also required) was a waste of time and put in the ivf request...it was accepted! I wanted to see a heartbeat before officially joining the group, and that happened today, although I have been reading posts for some time now. BFP (12/15/14) was early for us since ivf has you in the doctors office almost everyday...we really only had to wait 9 days from my transfer to get a result. EED is Aug 25th. This will be baby #1, I am 30 and my husband is 28, we will have been married for 4 years this coming St. Patties day.

U/S at 5w0d(12/22): one gestational sac with yolk sac. U/S #2 (6w0d)12/29. One little bean measuring 6w0d with HR 124. 3rd u/s(1/4)7w0d: baby measuring 7w2d. HR 134. 3/30: A/S at MFM went great except for low lying placenta. Verifi results are normal! Team Blue!

My husband and I are both 33, married for 7 years. Decided to start trying to expand our family about 2 years ago. This will be our first baby though not our first pregnancy. We lost our baby at 18 weeks about a year ago. It has not been an easy road but we are hopeful and excited to welcome our little one in August.
Hi I'm 26 and my husband and I have been married 3 years. We have been ttc #1 for almost 4 years and finally got our bfp on 12/5/14 after doing a frozen embryo transfer. My edd is August 17th and i can't believe it's finally real. We have been through years of surgeries and fertility treatments and hospitalizations and it became difficult to imagine getting ever actually getting pregnant. This baby is our miracle!
Hello, everyone. I'm afraid I may have gotten off on the wrong foot with a couple of you on another thread. I am not a fan of mean comments, so I will most likely be using this group to find out more about the many aspects of pregnancy (this is my first pregnancy) and not to engage in heated discussions. I found out I was pregnant on 12/21. I am due 8/27. I used an app called "Glow" to predict my fertility, because I have always had irregular cycles. I am 36, husband is 37. I joined The Bump earlier this week, because I had previously used The Knot to plan my wedding. I love Jesus, and regardless of whether or not you do, I am praying for healthy pregnancies for all of you and happy, healthy babies!
I am 36 hubby 37. We had our first DD in July 2014 so I'm still really new at this mom stuff! We were planning on a second child but didn't think we would conceive so fast as it took us over 10 mths of trying with DD, but we are over the moon to be adding to our growing little family.

Got my BFP a month ago at 4 weeks. EDD is August 12, but will likely end up being scheduled for Csec end of July. Complications with two prior pregnancies mean no labor for me. Lurked on May 2012 with my first pregnancy, bumped pretty regularly with October 2013 for my second, disappeared when I had my little guy a month early, NICU took up most of my time.
No gif pro, never could quite master the mobile gif, but I enjoy them greatly. A sassy gif party and a bowl of snacks is a preggos best friend.

Had an ectopic in July and a mc in October therefore had an early scan to confirm everything in right place, and another scheduled this week to check heartbeat etc. Fingers crossed all is okay! I got a very faint BFP on 11/18 and confirmed that afternoon with blood work. First HCG was 7 and it went to 33 on the second draw 48 hours later.
EDD: Based on my LMP I am due August 28. My LMP was 11/21 and I ovulated somewhere around 12/8.
I am new to the bump, just lurking the last couple of weeks as I gear up for my first appt on Monday:)

My edd is August 8th but I'm secretly hoping my lil bean comes on Aug 2nd which is DH's Bday.
This pregnancy has been w mix of emotions since I have had trouble in the past but I am prayerful that this will be a successful pregnancy.
