Where are all the happy Moms or moms-to-be that aren't here to be rude, catty, or unwelcoming? I came here to laugh, sometimes vent, and offer an ear or advice whenever I can. I love to laugh and help others do the same. 3rd trimester can be tough and I'm sure everyone's pregnancy hasn't been all peaches and cream. Whether they introduce themselves or not we all have something in common. There's no need to try and run off every person that doesn't make an entrance that pleases everyone.

Because they read a lot of the threads on this board and decided to open this one. This is a community. People post where they want to post. You cannot choose who you interact with.

Thanks @jennypm and @meladoriestar‌ - it is never easy BUT I am at a point where I understand that their mental disorders left untreated is what caused their pain. I actually got my degree in Psychology just hoping to understand more.

While I understand that the current popular slang is supposedly the equivalent of telling someone to stfu, I just feel that it's just as offensive as saying something wrong is "gay" or using the N word. The only issue is, the community affected by suicide is smaller, so it's easier to write off that kind of language as a joke.

I have to agree though- it's a horrible thing to say to anyone.

100% agree with you. It is NOT something you joke about, or throw around at all! Lots of creepy internet hugs for your losses--understanding why doesn't mean it doesn't still hurt to lose someone.

If telling someone to kill yourself is a new cool slang term then I don't know any cool kids. I've never heard that term being used by any of my siblings or younger cousins trying to be funny. Cause it's not. Even they know better at their young age. It's something a really vile, insensitive, mean person would say.
