I think this kid has for sure dropped. I ate a giant waffle and a ton of hashbrowns and eggs for breakfast and I slept like crap last night because I had to pee so much. Everytime I got up I seriously thought he was going to fall out. I think my body is telling me I need to slow way way down or I'm going to have a baby sooner then I want. Contractions started towards the end of me making breakfast this morning. The nesting instinct is so strong and my house is almost clean but I can't finish because of the dang contractions.

I haven't accomplished anything today (other than watching DS), so I guess I'll clean up the house a little.
It's hard getting stuff done with a 2 YO running around. I love DS, but being on vacation sometimes confirms my conviction that being a SAHM is wonderful for many moms but not the best thing for me.
So many babies! It's all so exciting and crazy.

I eat a ton of waffles and it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me. The waffle sounds insanely good to me right now.
In all seriousness, I'm sorry you feel crappy. Baby may be ready to come out!
Just realized that my due date (next Tuesday) is on the extended forecast. It's THAT soon. I can stalk the weather like I did for my wedding date! Pray for no snow any time soon!
@yvonnesophie I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I hope hubby and son get better soon! Do you have a friend who can make the trip to the condo with you so you're not totally alone?

Have the same due date. We're in the single digits! So close to having an outside baby.
@yvonnesophie I'm with @raveness - Maybe see if someone can go with you. It doesn't sound fun without being 37 weeks pregnant... I'm sure someone wouldn't mind at least accompanying you and helping you move some things. Free pizza and/or beer? haha I can usually coax friends with that sometimes.
Ladies, thank you so much for the well wishes. It means so much. I knew he was dying, but the cancer wasn't supposed to take him this soon. As it turns out, medication caused bleeding in his brain and that's what killed him. It's been a tough day and all of your T, P, and creepy Internet hugs are making it a little easier.
I want to wish all of you who are sick the speediest of recoveries!! I couldn't imagine being sick this far along. How uncomfortable!!
My daughter hates baths. HATES. Where does she come from? I was a water baby. Both H and I were. My mom says I LOVED getting baths as a newborn/infant and my MIL says the same about my husband. You would think I'm torturing my poor kid when I bathe her. She HATES it. She cries and cries. I've tried more water, less water. I've tried a bit warmer. A bit cooler. I've tried using a baby tub. I've tried using our tub. I even got in with her once to see if holding her helped. She just cries.
I hope that gets better.
I would keep trying different options. Borrow a friends bath? Shower with her?
My nephew HATED baths, and when my sister was here with him she found an old blow up baby bath she had given me. She tried everything else, a couple of different baths, showering with him, sponge baths, ect... there was something about the blow up bath that he liked.
Hopefully you can find something that works for her!
My sister-in-law tried to steal my neighbor's dog during Christmas and the neighbor pulled a gun on her. Jingle all the way! Can't wait to have my crazy family at the hospital while I'm trying to pop out a kid! YAY!
Anyone else notice their hair isn't as oily? I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days or so, but recently I've been able to go a whole week. (FYI... I do still shower, but don't need to wash my hair)
I've been thinking about Arby's jalapeno bites all day. Maybe I will go get some. I don't know what is wrong with me when I am pregnant, but is seems I want Arby's all the time.
Yes my hair has been less oily, however I also switched from shampoo to only conditioner about the time I got pregnant too, so I didn't know if the pregnancy was what helped my hair or the fact that I am not using shampoo anymore.

Thanks @MusicFanatic, I may be having a baby sooner than later since after last time I don't think my OB is going to mess around. I'm glad you're BP is good!!
Home from hospital. Lab work was great, but bp was still high. I have my next appointment on Wed morning where they are going to do a NST, but luckily LO's HR was great while we were there.
So home and taking it easy for now. Thanks for the well wishes and support!
What helped me with DD's baths was soaking a washcloth in the warm water and putting it on her abdomen. It helped with my friend's baby too. I guess since DD's belly and chest wasn't in the warm water and she got cold ?
@MusicFanatic DS hated baths until he was about 3 months or so. Then he really started loving them once he could sit up by himself. Hopefully it's her just getting used to it.
@mowl2014 I will definitely be praying for Ethan. Keep us updated!
My dog might have ringworm My mom was over today and noticed it. It looks pretty recent so I'm hoping all he'll need is cream and shampoo to kill the fungus. I managed to get him a drop off appointment at the vet tomorrow so, hopefully, she can squeeze him in during the day. I isolated both dogs and now I need to wash everything since it's contagious. The fur babies usually sleep with us but not tonight.
DH's car is on the fritz and will be in the shop for a week because everyone is out of town. Bleh! First the car, then the dog.

I also haven't lost hair in months, my hair brush is clean and I have long hair.
I've got a cluster feeder on my hands. Will probably be up most of tonight unless she magically becomes satisfied. This is the second time - first time at 5 days old and now again at 7 days. The first time she fed from 1pm-11pm nonstop, this time she started at 4pm and has been going strong (now 11pm), no naps.
She snoozes after finishing one boob, but will cry inconsolably if you pick her up/away from boob. Tempted to nurse in side laying position and hopefully both fall asleep that way.
I loved nursing side laying!! Did this almost exclusively with DS. Don't think I will have the luxury this time around as DS (20months) will be running around.
My tatas are so massive, I'm sooo scared I would smother my baby if I did the side lay nursing.
I have really big tatas. I side nursed at least when they got bigger. I don't think I did for the first couple months though, because I'd have to squeeze them with my thumb to keep them away from baby's nose.

Same here! Poor baby can stop breathing through his nose if I don't push the top of my boobs down.
MusicFanatic that might change. As an infant, my daughter hated baths till about the time she could sit up. Now she just turned 4 and seriously a tubby is her favorite thing. She can play in the tub for hours. I have to cut her off sometimes because she will take two a day and our tub is deep, I will worry about the water bill!

Ugh, I have had one all day too. I woke up with it, and it is right behind my eye.
Also, my cat all of a sudden today started following me around.
