I feel horrible most of the day and can't keep water down for anything. I'm taking the GNC brand prenatal and it works for me. Before my m/s I could barely keep my vitamins down so I completely understand that! Taking them at night did help me though. I drink powerade to stay hydrated right now, other than sprite that is the only liquid that will stay down. I worry about nutrition but I figure anything is better than nothing at this point in the game. I try not to psych myself out about it. I'm all about surviving for the next month and hoping that more healthy eating is more palatable in the second tri. Good luck! We are all in this together!
I'm nauseous all the time among other things but I'm loving on ice water. I hate any food that would make me have to open my mouth wide or anything warm but I was unsatisfied eating pretzels and ice all day - like my stomach growls and I feel like I'm going to barf at the same time- so I started doing frozen smoothies which allowed me to get in a slightly more diverse food supply to stop the growling. Smoothies are my new best friend. Please don't hate me for saying the word smoothie! Just sharing my experience.
I wake up in the middle of the night with my stomach growling so loud, but I feel like I'm going to throw up! I had a smoothie yesterday and I think I may start trying those more often.
My doctor said eat what you can. So that's what I'm doing. Potatoes, pop tart, the occasional salad. Whatever doesn't make me puke at that current moment.
OP, have you tried gummy prenatals? That's all I can stomach. I actually have to remind myself they are vitamins so don't eat more than two.
I haven't tried any prenatals yet but it looks like gummies will be the way to go. I have my appointment next week so I'm going to talk to my doctor about it some more then. Thank you!

My diet has always been really poor because I have irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia so my body only tolerates certain things and surprisingly it tolerates junk better than healthy stuff. I am slowly changing the way I eat and incorporating fruits and vegetables slowly. I don't wanna irritate my other conditions on top of the morning sickness. But I'm hoping I too will be better during the second trimester.
@TibbySixx1016, I wouldn't wait until next week to start taking prenatals. Ideally, you're actually supposed to start taking them prior to getting pregnant, so I wouldn't wait to talk to the doctor first. Give the gummies a shot for now, and then talk to your doctor about it next week.
