@huckleberry08, hope LO gets in to the DR soon. A had a cough/cold with a fever for 4 days and the nurse we called said we had to wait it out. After she kept waking up for 2 days with her eyes all goopy or closed shut and she seemed miserable past the irritating cough, come to find out she has an ear infection.
I'm still feeling pretty rough. I'm about to eat some chicken noodle soup and take some medicine and try to get some sleep. If I can't sleep and I'm still feeling like this then I think I'll have Alex take me to the er.

Poor J has been coughing all day. At dinner, she stopped for a bit. After I put her down, she had a coughing fit that woke her up screaming. She's getting mommy snuggles now.
We came home last night and it was the first night A slept in her bed this week since she's been sick and sleeping with us. I thought she would fight it but I guess baby girl missed her bed bc she STTN until 8!! This mama is happy!!

It was a good night for us too! The first time I was ever able to put A down awake and have him fall asleep on his own without freaking out. We had already nursed and rocked for a while, but usually he has to fall asleep on me.
@ColieAnn31 I second @coffeeismylyfe on the tonsils suggestion. They can go rotten on a person and cause all kinds of sickness. Hope you feel better soon and the drs figure out what's going on with you ASAP!
Hi! I'm still surviving. The past week has been crazy but also awesome with all the people we've seen. I'm barely keeping up with all your posts becausr of the craziness but wanted to say hi
This next week is going to be luxury after we fly back tomorrow. I'm only working one day this week and we will be home with no plans to see anyone or do anything. I even get a day at home while N is at daycare on Wed! And H and I have a great date night planned Sat!
Thanks for all the suggestions ladies. I slept until 1! After being up at 4 and 8:30. I'm going to urgent care here in a bit to get checked out. This cough is terrible!
I knew everything was going too smoothly around here now that I'm alone. In the last 30 mins things have gone downhill quickly! All started when the damn phone rang, of course it was a call from the people I've told 20 million times to stop calling because I'm not giving them money! The ringing phone woke Jameson up from his nap, in turn the tantrum he through woke the baby up. Now I'm dealing with two up set littles. I get Jameson calmed down but of course he won't go back down so a 20 min nap is all I'm getting from him today. After that I sit down to nurse Brabtley, Jameson attempts to crawl into my lap with the bag of blocks and ends up falling, cue another melt down! Get him calmed back down and he runs off. Get baby to sleep, jameson tries again to climb into couch with bag of blocks and this time makes it successfully but not before spilling my tea all over me and the couch and also breaking my phone charger. Ugh! It can only get better from here right!? Someone lie to me and tell me I'm right lol.
@riansmommie my MIL's best friend tells the story of her first baby... She had all this help for two weeks and barely had a moment to test her momma skills. When everyone left, and her husband was back to work, she was able to settle the baby when he cried. She had this "I got this moment!" Then she got up to go to the other room and smacked the babies head into the doorway as she passed through, then they both cried. We all have those moments were we don't think we can do it. You have this under control. If you told us it was going perfectly, I would give you the giant side eye.
Got H a Bose wireless speaker for Christmas and he's been playing with it listening to music....what's playing right now?? Fancy by Iggy...the same song he made fun of me the other day for listening too....men
Put A in her crib and she's wide awake. I am watching her on the monitor and she's spitting out every word and animal sound she knows to make it very known that she's still awake
