PSA- Listeria Ice Cream/Sorbet

Produced in Washington State.
Snoqualmie Ice Cream, Gelato, Sorbet and Custard.
Mostly sold in Western States.

Listeria is so scary. It could literally be anywhere.
TTC since May 2012
Me: 32 H: 31
DX: MFI-Very Low Count, I have Hashimotos.
IVF prep September 2013 cancelled due to Ovarian Cyst
IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI  ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze)
ET delayed due to OHSS 
FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)
FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN

    Ugh i live so close to their store. They better get their ice cream safe to eat by the time the weather gets nicer!

    I bought Sorbet from Whole Foods last night and frantically ran to the freezer to make sure it wasnt the brand.

    Ugh. I live in seattle and eat this and one other local brand as my main ice creams :/ I rarely eat dairy but have eaten this ice cream twice since becoming pregnant but have a minor dairy allergy and my after dairy symptoms are the same as listeria symptoms (plus I usually get rashes). I haven't had an extended fever (dairy usually makes me very hot and flushed) or been sick longer than a day. But I am a little stressed over it and already contacted my midwife who suggested I see my regular doctor for a blood test. Once the weekend is over I assume that will be scheduled.

    Also I've been diligent about not eating any lunch meat (even though I'm super picky and it's something I actually like!), and scrubbing/ hardcore washing all produce because even though listeria is unlikely it scared me. Annoying.
