Santa came early today, we've been playing and having fun. Ian slept all night long, it was a Christmas miracle! Made a big batch of matzo eggs and now we are just chilling while the kids play. I think my brother is coming over soon.
@jemasa33 Your Grandma is so cute, enjoy your time with her!
I really need some coffee but they have nothing. This town is so small that nothing is even open to get some. Argh! ~O)
Not even a gas station for some Maxwell House?

No booze or coffee? Bleak. All my sorries.
Yep but they have gallons of Diet Coke and red Kool-Aid if that's what you're into. SIL lives off Dt Coke and cracks one open the minute she wakes up and drinks it until she goes to bed at night.
We didn't get to bed til 1 am last night and had to be up bright and early to finish packing. We rushed over to my parents house and ate a delicious breakfast with pastries, egg casserole and my dad made homemade soufflés! =P~ we had mimosas too of course. After a crazy gift opening session we are now on the road to richmond. DD was so overwhelmed at it all... I think she'll enjoy her new toys more later.
We had a lovely gift from Jadiza. ..STTN And even Nikita slept until 8. Jadiza didn't care about the presents...until they wewere open. So Nikita got to unwrap all of hers too. Sadly she got a bit of grinch in her about halfway after opening something she wasn't too excited about. In her defense it was an air mattress (it's for the bed tent she got, she sleeps in a loft that wont accomodate the tent) that I warned DH she wouldn't care for. So that put a damper on the rest of gift opening...nothing worse than having to send your kid to her room Christmas morning for an attitude adjustment.
Asked the ILs not to bring the dogs. MIL threw a fit and refused to come to Christmas Eve.
Guess who showed up with the fucking dogs today?
MIL says she couldn't leave them crated all day today. Those fucking rats are crated every week day...
She is a cunt.
Guess she's leaving them in the car.
I wish I could say something. My Mom opened the door to let them in while DH and I were wrangling Riley for a nap. She didn't want to get in the middle of it. DH asked me not to say anything now.
Pretty sure this will take up quite a bit of time at counseling in two weeks. Also, I do feel somewhat happy because this means I do NOT have to go see them or invite them over again.
I will say something if they poop, pee or get into it with Scout.
We opened everything .... So tired! I'm trying to put LO down so I can go eat everyone else is eating their christmas chineese. So hungry it's 2:30. I would like lunch.
Afternoon ladies! I just finished setting up my Fitbit so I need friends. PM me? @Stacey099 I know you feel me on this. I'm so happy reading most of these posts in spam. Stina, I'd be ragey.
Only one minor hitch in our get-a-long. H flipped the fuck out on MIL to stop harping on us about "being fat". We aren't at all obese & we eat pretty well.
She was making comments under her breathe after we ate Christmas lunch that we are fat, how can we love like this, blah blah blah. I was holding my tongue because me flipping out has proven fruitless. She doesn't care.
H let her have it & told her that we would not invite them back if she keeps picking at us. It's Christmas, damn it. So he yelled at her pretty good & she STFU. Normally I would advocate trying to keep the peace, but she's been pushing & picking him for months.
Merry Christmas, everyone! I survived hosting Christmas breakfast in the new house. Now just relaxing before we head to my grandma's. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
Sitting in my driveway in nap jail. Just caught up on the chitchat. I've done my makeup twice today, twice! I refuse to do it again so instead I just took it all off and applied waterproof mascara. I look rough!
Haddock loved his toys this morning and he's been such a trooper all day! We have one more place to hit up and then I'm coming home to drink some wine or maybe gin...
My sister handed me a mimosa as I walked in the door this morning. She loves me best sister ever! I wish I could've had my own bottle of champagne minus the OJ, but... driving.
that quote needs some explaining @casey78. Sorry to all you lovely ladies that didn't get much sleep or that have sick LOs. We did christmas last night since dh had to work today. Sheis loving her new toys today. Been walking around saying "sas" (sasafras) and "Weeee". She was not too interested in actually opening presents last night but every time we opened one she would say "oooohhhh" it was pretty cute.As for me I got a new pc/tablet so maybe I will be more active on here (don't count on it though... hahaha) :-)
We've had a pretty low key day. Not many presents to be honest, the big ones arrived early so he's already opened them (play kitchen and a push bike for the spring which I am super excited about for him).
The three of us went for a walk earlier and, had our famous family recipe for homemade waffles for brunch. Adrian loved them, nothing like a toddler holding a huge Belgian waffle with both hands stuffing it in. He ate half of one, I was impressed lol. mmmm so delish.
P wasn't interested in opening gifts, but was more than excited to play with them after they were open. Though his favorite so far is the Burt's Bees chapstick from DH's stocking lol
In other news, P said "poop" for the first time today and I'm fairly certain I am feeling baby #2 kick/move. It's early, but I can't blame what I'm feeling on anything else.
Re: Merry Spammas!
She's telling me how "pawpaw (Grandpa/FIL) is coming!" :x
She's excited.
Whiskey in my coffffffeeee! :-\"

So now she's silent & calm has resumed.

MIL's fortune today... If a turtle looses it's shell is it naked or homeless?
