For those of you who celebrate, what are your plans for tonight and tomorrow?

    Usually I go to my in-laws on Christmas Eve, but it worked out that the out-of-town family is coming this weekend, so DH and I will just stay home tonight.  I probably will take a nap.  I love naps.

    We usually make all of our favorite appetizers on Christmas Eve, but since I am so tired, and hate so many foods right now, I think we will just have cheese and crackers which I am perfectly ok with.

    After I get out of work my husband and I are driving down to my mother's house for Christmas eve... and telling her. Will be a scary experience and I'm having panic attacks just thinking about it.

    The next day we are traveling to his family's houses and telling them. This I can't wait for :)

    Merry Christmas!

    Tonight, family who do not have other celebrations are coming to our house.  We also just do a relaxed night of potluck foods, appetizers, and drinks.

    Tomorrow morning, we will head down the street to my ILs for opening presents with DH's 4 siblings and their families.  There will be a lot of us in one room!  After E's nap, we hope to go to my brother's, but only if we think E can handle it.  This will be a lot of excitement for her.

    @SwivelChair5, I'm planning on making a roast for dinner tonight, but a bunch of appetizers sounds so much better. Sorry nothing sounds appetizing to you!

    @emmiemae08, good luck telling your mom!

    @benmel31, sounds fun! I have a large extended family, but my immediate family is really small. Part of me enjoys having such a small family, but I think holidays with a large immediate family would be a lot of fun. :)

    @jhalula09, I've procrastinated big time this year too. I still have some shopping to try to do today!

    AFM, we have no plans for today. Normally, we have dinner with my dad on Christmas Eve, but we're meeting up on Saturday instead. My H and I both have some shopping and wrapping to finish, so that's how we'll spend the day. Then, we'll have dinner just the two of us tonight and watch A Christmas Story!

    Tomorrow, we're headed to my aunt's house for dinner and will probably spend most of the day there.

    We're planning to tell my dad on Saturday. We may also tell my MIL via Skype tomorrow morning, but we're not sure yet.

    Merry Christmas Eve!!!! My sister in law and her daughters come to my house tonight and tomorrow i spend the day with my family. We decided to tell them because I am so bad at keeping secrets and Christmas sounds like a great time to tell then!

    Our holiday plans are slowly unraveling. We were supposed to see my family this evening, but the party was mysteriously cancelled due to my grandmother's head cold. Considering there were 20+ other guests, this excuse didn't hold much water, nevertheless, I didn't think much about it. After a phone conversation with my stepdad yesterday, he called back almost immediately, saying that there was a huge secret and he hadn't been honest. Apparently my cousin had a rough delivery in September and is still struggling three months later (this is terrible and I feel awful for her, but I won't say anything because "nobody knows")--it is a huge secret and the reason my aunt has cancelled the party. Sadly, my stepdad's and mom's inability to hold a secret will probably keep me from sharing my pregnancy with them until my second trimester. I'm really sad not to share with my mom (especially because I had a special gift planned), but I guess it is better than the risk of having my trust broken, right? (I can't stand that paragraphs aren't recognized!!!)

    Hosting a big dinner, so I am in charge of most of the cooking!  I don't mind, but I hope my turkey turns out!

    I don't celebrate so tonight we're going for Chinese food and tomorrow we're going to the movies. ;)

    In the past we spent Christmas with our catholic friends but since we've all had kids we stopped getting invited :(

    Last night we did the in laws. I am lucky and have good ones. We are about to travel 4 hours to alabama to do Christmas with my mom(I will have a throw up bucket at all times in the car). Haha. Then tomorrow morning Christmas with my dad and then Christmas with my grandmother. Immediately after headed back 4 hours to tennessee. Whew! I exhausted already.

    Currently i am making cinnamon rolls and then later as long as the snow doesn't prevent us, we will head to my parents house for a quick dinner and church.

    Tomorrow we are back by them again for all the fun !

    Merry Christmas eve. This afternoon after the girls wake up from their nap we will be going to church with my mom then go to her house and sing Christmas carols and have something to eat and exchange presents. For this evening I will he wrapping presents and redecorating the tree tonight for Christmas morning. We also go walking around looking at Christmas lights usually but we have colds right now so I'm thinking about skipping it this year. For tomorrow family will be coming over to our house so excited

    I used to host Christmas Eve. I did 5 years in the past. My SIL just bought a brand new home and it fits the whole family better so she will be hosting this year.  

    We are going to tell the extended family tonight. I got my MIL a "Grandmother" Alex and Ani bracelet so that is how everyone else will find out :-)

    Parents coming over for some Chinese food- we do it every year.
    I need to wrap tonight. I always wrap on Christmas Eve while drinking cocoa and watching a Christmas movie. 
    Nothing other than that!

    Happy Christmas Eve, everyone!!

    We live pretty far away from family (about 11 hours by car) and we've decided over the past couple of years that, for us, it's easier to see everyone before Thanksgiving and we go back again in mid-January. Also, since H is military, even with minimal manning, he has to work some.

    Tonight we're having Cuban sandwich style sliders and homemade french fries and then we'll walk around our neighborhood and look at lights. 'Midnight' (actually at 10:30pm) Mass later, I think.

    Then we'll open our Xmas Eve PJs, which my mom still sends every year. Tomorrow will be really quiet, we'll open presents and eat breakfast casserole and watch whatever parade is on TV. It's actually quite nice.

    Well since I have been trying to conceive for quite a few years and have been unsuccessful my Christmas eve plans is to surprise my parents with a gift of baby items and sonogram pic to let them know I am pregnant and capture their expressions

    Tonight we are spending time with my in-laws. We are telling my husbands parents on Friday instead of tonight b/c so many other people will be there. We will spend Christmas Day with my family. We are telling my parents tomorrow by giving them the book What Grandmas Do Best/What Grandpas Do Best. It's a double sided children's book!

    Tonight we celebrate with my family. They've been a supportive part of our infertility journey, so they already know we're expecting.

    Tomorrow we're with my inlaws for the day. H isn't sure he wants to tell them yet. I'd prefer to since I keep getting hit with waves of nausea that'll be a little hard to hide.

    I'm hoping we can enjoy tonight and tomorrow! I'm so excited and thankful, but I dislike being around people with the "want to throw" feeling.

    First of all, thank you @BethKate2‌ for this non pregnancy related thread. It's a breath of fresh air from all the "helllp" posts lately.

    H works today so I am at home relaxing and then tonight we will be going to our church Christmas Eve service. Tomorrow H works again and I will be Skypeing with my famoly and then at night we will head over to his moms house. I'm excited to tell the family about little sprout :)

    We had to completely change our plans because my husband can NOT keep a secret to save his life, and we're hoping to not tell until after our first sono (01/21). So his parents are coming over for dinner (we're going out) and church tonight, and my mom is coming for brunch tomorrow. That narrows down the chance for him to slip up - five hours with 40 family members on Christmas Day = spilled beans.

    Merry Christmas to you and the board, too!  I'll be taking the kids out today while their presents are being wrapped.  Normally we put them to bed and pull an all-nighter, so the reality that it may get done 'early' lol is new for us.  Tomorrow we'll do presents, lounge around in PJs while they play with whatever, and eventually do a gingerbread house a la godzilla.

    Lol! Thanks! It's our first eve away from family and the Hubs worked a night shift last night. Now that he's finally awake, it'll be family games, binging, presents, binging, watching movies, binging, tracking Santa, binging, making reindeer food, binging... Did I mention binging?

    Tonight we will go to our Christmas Eve service at Church and then will have dinner n have cold cuts at my parents' house after. Tomorrow we will have dinner with my parents and sister and exchange gifts.
