I'm pumping and bumping too. My desk is right next to a window, but I'm too lazy to draw the blinds every time. The next building is about 200 meters away so I'm wondering if anyone is getting a show (and wondering wtf I'm doing since no one pumps in Ukraine because they get a year off of work for each kid and good breast pumps literally cost $800 here!)
DS has been asleep since 6ish and I wasted time by making breakfast, drinking coffee and sitting on my ass. I have egg nog to make and sugar cookie dough to make. There's no way he will sleep anymore today I know it. Then I'll be rushing tomorrow.. :-<
I'm lounging too while DS naps, and I have more cookies to bake too (something happened to the gingerbread cookies we baked this weekend for Santa...). Granted, I'm completely sick and need a nap myself. :P DH is coming home from work early to take care of the kids while I nap. He and DS1 can bake the cookies.
6 hours left on our 3 day/21 hour road trip! Kids have been so good, San Francisco is pretty, but I'm looking forward to leaving it behind for now and visiting it in a couple years kid free instead!
I need to go to Target today and I'm dreading it. I tried to order online so I just have to pick my stuff up, but of course Target.com isn't letting me check out with gift cards.
Soooo it looks like I'm braving Target on Christmas Eve Eve for two packages of Stage 2 nipples.
Starting our 5.5 hour car ride to the Inlaws. Hoping and praying DD gets in a good nap for most of it. She didn't sleep as well last night so she has to be tired.
Today is the first day I have ever been alone with all three kids. I'm too nervous about it to get out of bed. I have to pee, but if I get up to do that, I'll accidentally trigger the toddlers Mommy Alarm and he will want me
Going to tour a daycare that has openings for Jan 5 later this -- nothing like doing this shit at the last minute. Oh... And I still need to get a Christmas gift for H.
Hope you find a place! I'm in the same boat still nothing definite and I go back Jan 5th.
@AppleGrapeMSTK - do you have a diaper nearby? Word on the street is that a mommy can use one on herself in a pinch....
LOL I just snorted coffee. Thankfully DS1's Mommy Alarm must be deactivated. He is still passed out, and I was able to pee, make coffee, and put the dogs out without him waking.
We have so many sugary sweets and snacks that neighbors have dropped off. I stayed up all night working on client illustrations. Therefore, DS1 is eating brownies for breakfast and has no pants on.
Brownies have eggs in them and chocolate has milk solids therefore breakfast.
Pants are optional anyway. I can't believe I'm jealous of a toddler right now.
FFTC: I have done zero Christmas baking this year.
DH bought the ready-made cookie dough for our sugar cookies this year because I always find a way to elf up the recipe and they are always inedible. My poor ego.
Next year Santa gets chips ahoy. Not even going to bother.
@pnwlover12 Also from yesterday- thanks for thinking of me LB! My first day back went a lot better than I thought. I couldn't wait to get home though. Missing you around TB this week!

No shame! I did two no-bake treats this year. Trying to get all my work done today because I'm bringing lo to work tomorrow and I am pretty sure it will go down in the books as my least productive work day ever...I guess that is what you get when you have the office open on Christmas Eve...
@mrscjmb9410 I am struggling with potty training ds. He will be 3 in February and has ZERO interest in the potty. He refuses to even sit on it. He can't go to preschool and do other activities until he's potty trained. I'm at a loss.
I want to make lactation cookies. But I'm not breastfeeding. So. Unnecessary calories. Of all the things I miss about breastfeeding, those cookies are the things that haunt me the most. So. Good.
Loss mentioned.
One of my husbands college teammates was in an accident last night. He and his two year old son died and his wife is in critical condition. They were hit by a speeding vehicle and their car caught fire.
I can't imagine being his poor wife, she was the driver and the only survivor. And right before Christmas too.
That is so sad. I am sorry for your loss. Prayers for their families. It is never good to have that kind of loss but I think it hits harder around the holidays.
I'm waiting for lo to come out of the mri. He did really well (for a baby) with not eating. I'm not sure who is comforted more with bouncing and swaying, me or lo. After they took him back I was trying to calm myself down and I found myself bouncing and swaying with no baby in my arms.
Re: Tuesday randoms??
What makes them slutty?

I think my pancreas protested, just due to me drooling over the picture.
Married 10/06
Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)

Also, DS is 2 months today!! Man time flies.
