Married on October 20, 2012. Began trying in January 2013. RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!
I've received two random text messages this morning asking me if the baby has decided to make her arrival. Nope. Still in my belly.
I put together 4 IKEA spice racks we are using as bookshelves and painted them. Now I'm about to go through the dresser and re-sort clothes to pull newborn stuff out. I'm beginning to think she won't fit into nb clothes cause of how long she's been cooking.

LO was a little over 8 lbs and fit into NB. he also fit into NB and size 1 diapers lol he's actually around 10 lbs now and can still squeeze into NB clothing. I think it just depends on their shape.
Haven't been on much because I've been fighting the jaundice bug with my LO and trying to keep his levels below 20, which thank god he is a shit machine because it's helped. Supplementing formula after feelings is tough because lo clearly hates it.anywhooo- I am going back to the hospital today to pick up one of those jaundice lamps and was wondering if any of you ladies have used them and if they're tough to use? What are your experiences with them?
I have the spice rack bookshelves in Chalupa's room. I love them, but they don't hold many books. They work well though bc they are pretty flush to the wall.
I googled placenta encapsulation. To each their own, but oh my.
The doctor showed me the amniotic sac after my delivery and how the placenta, baby, and umbilical cord all worked together in it. I know they dry it and put it in capsules but I'll never get that sight out of my head.
ETA: A very cool sight though, if you do get the chance
Here are the spice racks as book shelves - please note that this is not my nursery.
The shelves are delivered in a natural wood color. I painted our shelves purple and lime green. Our nursery walls are gray and white and our bedding is white, lime green and purple. So to bring a little pop of color to the walls, I painted the shelves the bedding colors.
Our nursery is small, so I wanted a shelf that would be kind of flush to the wall. These spice racks are perfect. We bought eight ... I painted four and will assemble and paint the rest tomorrow.
On a whim hubby and I went to look at cars today and ended up spending the day at the dealership and buying a new car for me.

I had a dream my water broke and we went to the hospital. I went through the whole check in process and was admitted. Got my epidural and pushed out LO. Checked out and we took him home. It was a pretty realistic dream.
Then I woke up with this giant belly... I almost cried. Oh well, 48 hours till induction....I should probably do some laundry

@feeshah almost time! It's weird when they become outside babies. I rubbed my belly the first week instinctively. No baby was in there anymore though!

We just played the jaundice game with L. We however had a biliblanket delivered to our house from the hospital. It's basically a paddle that wraps around his torso that he's attached to 24/7. As much of an inconvenience that it was in glad we had that because I didn't have to leave him sit under a light as this guy really hates to be put down anywhere.
I did this with my last son. We tried the lamp with my son but he hated being put down. The blanket worked better for us also.
Hey ladies. Been trying to keep up here and there so I apologize for missing something or not commenting more.
Congrats to all the outside babies and best wishes to the inside babies.
Baby C&E had been keeping me busy and very sleep deprived. This week we have been to the pediatrician 3x to monitor his weight since he was continuing to drop weight. We have also saw a lactation specialist, had a newborn photo shoot, and had an ultrasound to monitor his kidneys.
Since baby C&E was earlier than we anticipated (abt 39 weeks) DH has been working all this week. He has elected to keep his paternity leave scheduled for January. Thankfully I have been getting help & support from my mom and MIL.
Tonight's feeding is done and DH is burping and rocking LO asleep. He commented he needed to find a song to sing. Despite prompting he came up with his own....

I am bumping in the shower. I literally barely moved from the couch yesterday. I am going to make H take me for breakfast and shopping today. Maybe LO will cooperate and not kick the shit out of me all day.

I forgot you had an inside baby and was seriously confused haha!
And now I've been playing Hearthstone since the hockey game ended. My poor tablet! Between this game and ascension, I may never have a full battery again.
Add in Netflix and my kindle, and I think I'm ready for my hospital stay this week!
have you downloaded the kindle app for your tablet? I forgot my kindle the other day and realized this app existed - it has been a lifesaver several times!
Might go apeshit on next person who randomly checks up on me to see if I'm in labor. /blockquote>
This. Or the next person to tell me today would be a good day or she needs to be here by a certain day. She will come when she is ready. When I tell people I could still be pregnant in the middle of January they freak out.
The startle reflex is about the cutest thing I've ever seen. J is sleeping in my lap and every once in awhile he throws his arms up but doesn't wake. I love it.
Speaking of Twilight, Robert Pattinson wasn't cute to me in the movies but I just saw him in the new Dior commercial.. That man is fine! (Should this have been my UO instead?)
Agreed. But he's all pale with bright red lips and sparkly and shit in the movies. The commercial he looks more rugged and man like. I did a double take

Dorky or disturbing?
I remember my first couple of times pumping and thinking "So this is what dairy cows feel like..."
Induction has BEGUN!
I'm all hooked up. There is a pill up in my cervix. Time for a nap.
