Reese came into our room at 5:30 AM. Luckily we convinced her to watch one episode before going downstairs. DH is working so he is starting to get ready.

She is on the steroids, so her sleep is crap---and all she wants to do is eat all day long.

No big plans except for wrapping gifts and ordering a platter for tomorrow. I am thinking about giving her one of her Hanukkah gifts in the AM to save my sanity.

Yes, please. DD had a cough and a fever. She didn't sleep well. My mom made us go to the ER. It's a small town. The nurse just took her temp and told us what to do. We did not have to check in and use insurance. DD seems to be feeling better.

We had to drive to Walmart for meds and a few snacks. It's 20 miles away from town. Small town woes.

DD's Dora themed party is today. Snap friends be warned. Haha.

Food report.

Since DD got up this morning she has eaten:

4 mini belgian waffles

1/2 container of strawberries

1 container of applesauce with tons of strawberry syrup (how she takes her medicine)

We have only been downstairs for an hour.

I ended up giving in last night and went back in to sleep with DD2 and nurse her. She was screaming and crying huge tears and DH couldn't calm her. I just don't know how to wean her! I worry that she isn't getting enough milk or fluids because she still isn't drinking at least 16 Oz. from a cup or anything. I have never been a unsure of what the hell I'm doing (parenting-wise).

How old is she? I'm sure she's getting plenty of milk. Give yourself a break. You're doing the best you can.

She will be one in 3 weeks. She is no longer nursing during the day. I feel like I probably give in at night because I worry she didn't drink 16 Oz of milk (or fluids) during the day. She drinks maybe 9 Oz. She just doesn't like to drink much from anything but boob.

DS2 slept last night which means i finally slept! It has been a long 7 months. He still woke around 2:30 and was up for an hour, but that is a vast improvement from his norm of waking every 2 hours.

I made waffles and am eating while the boys play.

DS1 had a cookie decorating party to go to today but the boy hosting is sick so it got cancelled.

Good morning! Running on a little less than 3 hours of sleep right now. Went out last night for my brother's birthday and danced my ass off. So. Much. Fun. I'm ok right now but I'm sure I'll need to crash later so fingers crossed DS takes a long nap today.

I tried to sleep in since I'm sick, but DD is throwing another epic tantrum. She is screaming and wailing and kicking and slamming, and DH is calmly trying to deal. I know tantrums are normal but I'm having a hard time with them, mostly because I'm a softy and can't stand to hear her cry and be upset. I have removed myself downstairs at DH's request.

@Whenigrowup‌ for DS1 the best thing i can do during his tantrums is too ignore him. I find this really hard so i busy myself, usually with cleaning. If I can focus on something else and not focus on listening to him scream I can handle it better.

DD3 woke up soaking wet & had 2 back to back diaper explosions, & DS pooped on the potty. So.much.poop before I could even make a cup of coffee. Yay for pooping on the potty tho!

This morning we have DD2s GS Christmas party at 9:30 & then my nieces bday party this evening. Its a skating party so should be good times

We had a week long secret Santa at work. We revealed ourselves yesterday and the guy who had me got me a really pretty infinity scarf. He is also the guy that had bedbugs last spring. The scarf is currently in a bag in the garage until i can really inspect it. I'm hoping the bedbug issue was taken care of.

The girls are going to my mom's for a couple of days so I'm packing up. I'm really sad because I'm pretty sure this morning was my last nursing session with A. She has only been nursing early mornings and she will be away for a couple days, idk if she will want to when she gets home.

DS is still asleep after being awake at 3, and DD is up and narrating her life as usual. For example, yesterday at school they watched "Barbie and da Nut Crapper", and also "mommy, your coffee smells bootiful!"

DS has been keeping me up all night lately. When we're not in the same bed he wakes up maybe once and needs help going back to sleep. Otherwise he STTN. I need to get him a mattress ASAP.

The mattress place I want to get it from is owned by CSG's best friend, whom I've never actually met, so I don't know if that would be weird and awkward or not. CSG and I are doing the platonic thing, so maybe I'm over thinking.

I just really need DS out of my bed.

I had all my milk dry up because there's a new order that moved into my uterus, and I feel bad that DD no longer gets to nurse, especially since she's become a LOT clingier now.

So now I let her sleep in my bed all night because she only wakes up once, and can be snuggled back to sleep. But if she's in her own bed she gets too upset before I hear her.

But now I'm sad my husband chooses the couch over a night of being kicked by a baby all night.

Maybe online is the way to go. I'm looking for an actual twin mattress, and this place carries ones with natural fillers and stuff for decent prices, which is what I like.

Home alone with a very happy sick baby. He finally decided to nap, and I'm not taking advantage because I'm an idiot. We were up three times last night. According to dh, my daughter is running circles around his uncles living/dining room and counting to ten loudly. Miss that funny little thing.

Why does my child think she is a fashion model?! She walked into her room, looked at her clothes and says, "these are no good! I need something else." Look kid, your days are spent mushing up bananas and throwing toys everywhere. Leggings and a dress or shirt will work fine.
