    My newest pregnancy related problem is the hip pain, there's no way I can get comfy at nighg and it hurts so bad!! BLAH!!

    This happens to me too but I'm way too tired to eat. Granola bar is a good idea - that did not even occur to me because too tired to think too.

    DS was miserable last night from 8:30 - 11:30. He is getting his 2 yr. molars and had chewed his pacifier until it was completely shredded. I stayed up with him and finally carried him to his bed when he fell asleep. Then, I couldn't fall asleep for some reason and was awake until at least 2. I am pretty effing exhausted today.

    @coleybug13, how is your cat doing?  

    I went through something similar last January with our min pin - she was horribly sick and had to get an IV.  They x-rayed her and ran tests but didn't turn anything up.  They really wanted us to spend 750 dollars to keep her at the vet hospital overnight (that was just the boarding fee), in addition to the 600 dollars she had already run up.  We live pretty close to the vet hospital so we made the decision to take her home and monitor her.  She recovered but it was not an easy decision to make - I was so scared we would lose her.  I hope your kitty is still getting better and that you are getting some rest.

    @jennypm sounds like a fun day!

    Thank God For Friday! H is planning a small get together with friends on Sunday. He said he'd take care of the whole thing. But seriously. The odds of me sitting back and not taking over the food at least are zero to none. I try but can't let it go! I really should. But he can't even flip an egg so I worry about his party planning skills!

    @krystaloowho I hate shopping with other people. They can never seem to make up their minds. I'm much more efficient when I am on my own.

    @Darbie914 What kind of work do you do? I noticed you said your title company was bringing in lunch and I work for a real estate office so it sparked my interest.

    ETA: how shitty I feel today with this cold. This seriously has to happen the weekend before Christmas- jfc. It pisses me off to use sick days too because I have tried so hard to save those babies up for maternity leave. It's just a big ole bitch fest around here today...

    Our friends are trying to plan a trip to Cancun in July and this sounds horrible but I just keep thinking that I don't know if I will be swimsuit ready by July.  That is only 5 months to get back to it. Last time around it took me 8 months to be back in shape and have my pre preg body.  UGHHH....sucks I wont be the only mom of the group but I will be the most recent mom and probably the most self conscious. Okay that was my vain random thought of the day.

    @earthian I had the same worry before. I was supposed to be in a wedding in August but unfortunately her fiancee just called it off so now I don't have that worry anymore. Before I was just worried about fitting into a dress and now it is swim suit I have to think about.

    I need to clean and pick up the house as I will have people over for cake and ice cream in 2 days to celebrate DS birthday, but I am apparently avoiding it.  I definitely want it done, I'm staring to be grossed out by all the dog hair on the floor and carpet but I can't seem to get myself started and now is the perfect time to work on it since DS is still sleeping at 9:40 am.

    I woke up starving! Then remembered I need to go to the lab for my GTT. I have Kaiser so no appt needed, but I've been putting it off and today is the only time I have a sitter in the morning. Sitting here waiting for these last 10mins to pass. I just want to eat already.

    I was feeling GOOD about getting up before my alarm AND starting a load of laundry before I went to work - then I read this :) Please send some of your motivation my way! My house could use it :)

    I am staff at a college - and today is the first day with NO students. I think I am going to play Christmas music, bump, and MAYBE clean my office today instead of get anything important done. I am just SO glad to have some peace and quiet :)
