I think you mean me, and I temp orally. I am up a lot in the night with my nursing, cosleeping infant-almost-toddler. Temping vaginally just isn't as easy/convenient with her in bed with us.

At this point, yes, these are temps are annovulatory. I have not had a PPP. If my period resumes and I still see rocky temps I may switch, but I feel like right now I'm gathering data and getting an idea what's going on (or not) with my body, and this is good enough. I feel like it's still clear that 97.4-97.5 is my "average" temp. Dips up or down seem to occur in conjunction with factors such as sleep deprivation, drinking, or temping at a different time. That's why there are a lot of notes on my chart.

I know how you feel. When I started temping it was driving me crazy not having more temps in there. I just wanted more data and to know if I O'd (as you know!)

Even though my chart is all over the place, I like it better now -- it's all real data. I KNOW I haven't O'd yet (although I MAYBE did yesterday or today, FX!) and I feel like everything I'm learning, reading, etc. is making sense with what's going on for me postpartum/while breastfeeding. Now I just need some patience. And my OB to call me back with BW results!

If you find some patience, please share

MH says that ALL the time. Your temp shift is looking promising, though! I am not nearly as experienced with charting as the other ladies, but I think you're well on your way!

*Hoping* that DH will actually be in town during my fw this cycle (it *should* be over Christmas, so at least he won't be working...).

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I need to get back into temping regularily. It doesn't do me any good to temp every 3 days lol.

GTKY -- What is your favorite holiday tradition? We open one gift on Christmas Eve, and it's always new pajamas. I don't know why it is so fabulous, but it is. Especially to open the present with hot chocolate and a fire.

@cluckster - I'm in the same boat as you unless my temp drops. We hit -3 but DH has already requested soup and grilled cheese for dinner for the second night in a row.

Cycle/Month: 5 (4 AL)
CD: 15
What are you doing to get pregnant? PNV, OPK, CM, lots and lots of sex, starting progesterone this month too so maybe that will help
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I am feeling good after my visit with the RE. I had a saline sonogram which looked perfect, so we decided to try progesterone this month to hopefully help with my long periods and short luteal phase. I also had 2 follicles 10-13 mm on Monday so she said to expect ovulation on Thursday or Friday, but no positive OPK yet. We will have sex as often as possible to cover our bases though.
GTKY -- What is your favorite holiday tradition? Since DS is 2 this year, we are really hoping to start some traditions this year. We have been doing all kinds of festive things and I hope some of them will turn into traditions. We have gone to see lights at the zoo, breakfast with Santa, made cookies, decorated, and some other things. I love this time of year!

Me, too. I'm having a crazy rocky cycle...which is completely unlike my cycles from the last time I charted (which was six years ago.) I really have no idea what's going on with my body right now. I sit and stare at my chart as if it'll start speaking to me and say, "Oh! *This* is what's going on."

Because of the severe up and down nature of my temps, I'm really worried that I'm heading for an anovulatory cycle.

It wouldn't be the end of the world, since this is our first cycle and I'm getting older. But it would still be disappointing to me.

Sorry to hear that, @cateyes543 - I feel the pressure of my SIL because I've nearly been trying as long for our first as she did for first and second combined.

What are you doing to get pregnant? I made a plan for this cycle! EOD is more than enough pressure and the plan is pretty ambitious since my cycle lengths are currently anywhere from 27-41 days, but I'm psyched nonetheless!

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm excited to start temping vaginally this month! Last month was my first temping and I noticed that I had at least 3 surges, but my O was way on CD29 and even FF missed it.

GTKY -- What is your favorite holiday tradition? Being on vacation, seeing family, eating at this fancy hotel on Christmas Eve in my DH's hometown with their family and family friends! I just love it all.

I find myself going to my FF chart multiple times a day. I have no idea what for. Glad I'm not alone in this!

What are you doing to get pregnant? OKP starting today, got some faint lines but no positive. Temping, prenatals and sex.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm really just trying to start pinpointing my O for the first time. My temps don't seem to make a whole lot of sense, but we'll see after about day 20 I think. (cycles are 29-33 days long) I temp at 6 am every morning, I wake up especially for it, and try to be as still as possible while temping etc. They're just crazy up and down.
I might try temping vaginally next month, I kind of want to see what this month does orally.

GTKY -- What is your favorite holiday tradition? Waffles after opening presents on Christmas morning
