Boy - Lankan Neil
My husband is african and I am not overly fond of many african names I have come across but it is important to give them a good name or name them after a good person. I worked with a lovely sweet african named Lankan and always loved his name and respected him greatly so my husband is on board with that and Neil is my dad and hero!
Girl - Makala Jeanne/Rose/Monique
My husband's parents died when he was very little and the wonderful Aunt who raised him was Makala and the middle names are wonderful women in my life and can't decide which one I will choose.
Take it to the name board if you want more opinions, but IMO Makala Rose is the best. Makala Monique is way too weird/obscure together!
I have a friend named Alyndia (nn Lyndi). That might flow better rather than two 2-syllable names. Plus, I think it's really pretty Lindi by itself is cute, too, though.
We have had boys name picked out for about five years now - Chase Patrick(middle name is husbands middle name) Girl- Aubrey Judith-Ann(middle name is my moms first name with MIL middle name)
I am absolutely in love with the name Natalia Rose for a girl. Talia as a nickname. For a boy I can't decide between Noah Ray or Noah William, Parker Ray, Elijiah William! Also I like Nolan! Lol and of course my DH seems to have no opinion except to be the yes man. That may because he is smarter than I think, considering I can snap on him in 10seconds flat. (My mood swings are very severe!!!)
For a girl Ariella-Roselyn Emilia ( after my greataunt who raised me and Emilia after my little sister) Boy: lyonel-Andrés Matias (after my partners grandfather and my uncle)
If this one is a girl I'm naming her after my mother and grandmother SidneyAlice not sure about a middle name. I've thought about boys names but so far nothing has grabbed me.
SidneyAlice (no space) is the first name?
I tried to reply once before but forgot to quote the person I was replying to. Sorry. Yes, SidneyAlice will be her first name no spaces. Sidney for my mother (same spelling and yes we know its the "male" spelling and Alice for my grandmother. I like them together as a first name but am having a hard time picking the middle name. Hopefully I can confirm it's a girl this month.
So far for a girl we like the name Bianca Belle..my maiden name was Bianco so it sort of pays homage to me. For a boy we'd do Benjamin after my DH father.
For a girl we're set on Isabella Skye and for a boy we wanted Thorin Ezra, but after family got ahold of the name and ripped it to shreds we need to come up woth a new one. ):

I'd use it anyway. My family gave absolutely horrendous responses to our names last time. They were beyond ridiculous. But we kept our names because we liked them. And now that DS2 is here I couldn't imagine him with any other name.
DH is slackling on helping pick/looking into names soI am making him do it this weekend...he doesn't get that I don't want to talk about names for months and want to start trying out the name to see if it fits and so DS1 can start learing the name instead of calling him baby or brother all the time.
We are really struggling for our son! DS1 said "Blocks" "Poopy Butt Face" and "Mister Fart" (Blocks was a compromise after we explained we couldn't use potty talk to name his brother...
We're thinking; Devin Slade (Not my choice, but growing on me - although the grandmother we'll be using the "s" for may come out of he grave to smack us if we choose it) And that's about it!!!
For a girl Emily Alice. Deciding on a boy's name has been harder but the two I like best now are Tyler and Jasper. The boy's middle name will be his Japanese name, Naoki, which uses the first part of my husband's name per his family tradition. So Tyler Naoki vs. Jasper Naoki.
Girl: cadence Kimberly (cadence is a musical term, Kimberly is my mom's name) Boy: Holden James (Holden from Catcher in the Rye, James is my father's name)
For a girl we love Addison and Addie for short Boy we have Liam Richard picked out. We don't have a girls middle name yet. Very excited to find out the sex February 2nd!
We're thinking Logan for a little boy and for a girl skyla, we're hundred percent on Logan, girl names are much more tricky, be easy to pick on the 14th when the sex is revealed
Jared Valko. Jared was my older brother Who passed away 5 years ago with whom I was very close and Valko means wolf in Bulgarian and I like the way it sounds. Another contender is Xander. My girl name is Avery Dawn.
There is a tradition that first born males in my husband's family have the initials LV so we chose Louis Victor (Louis for the "L" tradition and both of our grandfathers) the girls don't follow this tradition but we are loving Louise Violet after both of his grandmothers. I believe this will be the 6th generation to carry on the tradition! We won't find out the sex for 3 more weeks, our doctor likes to wait until week 20
Re: so, what baby names have you come up with so far?
First name:
Macie
Mackenna
Middle name:
May (my grandmother who just passed)

Girl- Aubrey Judith-Ann(middle name is my moms first name with MIL middle name)
If it were a girl her name would have been Sadie. Didn't get to pick a girl's middle name.
I've always loved the name London too. That one could go either way I guess, but I've always loved it for a boy.

Boy: lyonel-Andrés Matias (after my partners grandfather and my uncle)
For a girl we've got Summer Wynne

For a boy Hyde Benson. Hyde is my DH's grandmother 'a maiden name and Benson has been a male middle name for four generations in DH's family.
DH is slackling on helping pick/looking into names soI am making him do it this weekend...he doesn't get that I don't want to talk about names for months and want to start trying out the name to see if it fits and so DS1 can start learing the name instead of calling him baby or brother all the time.
Right now MY top two names are:
FN: Rory or Barrett
MN: Andrew or Daniel
DS1 said "Blocks" "Poopy Butt Face" and "Mister Fart" (Blocks was a compromise after we explained we couldn't use potty talk to name his brother...
We're thinking;
Devin
Slade (Not my choice, but growing on me - although the grandmother we'll be using the "s" for may come out of he grave to smack us if we choose it)
And that's about it!!!
{Imagine the Failed Sour Patch cake here}
Boy: Baylor Valko
Boy: Keagan Daniel or Logan Kai.
Girl we like Kiley or Kaylee
And boy, considering Xavier (Pronounced Zavier) and no middle yet. We're having a tough time with boy names!
Boy: Holden James (Holden from Catcher in the Rye, James is my father's name)
Boy: Camden William
Boy we have Liam Richard picked out. We don't have a girls middle name yet. Very excited to find out the sex February 2nd!
I loooove the name Maceo but my bf loathes it:(
Mia Grace or layla Grace for a girl. MH has a Stella Hope and Briana Faith so Grace fits so sweetly
Girl: Danielle Nicole
