12/10 Wednesday appointments check-in

Didn't see one started for today-
I have an appointment at 11 this morning and of course it is blizzarding! They are supposed to be checking my cervical cerclage and doing the regular 12 week appointment. I'm a little annoyed because they called me and left me a vm on Monday when I was in session and I figured it was just to confirm today's appt. When I checked the msg Monday night it said "we have some information for you, give us a call back" which immediately put me over the edge with anxiety. I called yesterday and they said someone would get back to me by end of day. No one did. Hoping for positive things today! And is it rude to ask them not to call me unless it's an emergency if they aren't going to call me back?

    First ultra sound for me today! Fingers crossed all goes well!..... We did get to hear the HB via dobler on thanksgiving due to an ER visit and all was well thank goodness.... Good luck ladies!

    I hope everything is okay @mathistm‌ ! I can understand your concern and frustration at not knowing what information they have for you! Hopefully your appointment time comes quickly!

    I am at my 3 hour marathon glucose tolerance test today. Boo. Can't eat since bedtime last night, at this point I'm STARVING with a sugary drink running through my veins. Whoever designed this test was not pregnant lol. There must be a better way!

    @mathistm‌ I have paper work filled out with my doctor stating that they leave any information on my voicemail and/or call my husband if they don't reach me. Specifically for your situation....I'm a worrier when given a reason to. Lol

    My appointment was scheduled for yesterday...got halfway into our 45 mile drive and they called to cancel. Rescheduled for this afternoon. Glad they caught me before I got all the way there! This is our second appointment and the first time we will hear LO's heartbeat! I can't wait!!

    I'm at my 12 week appointment now. She couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler so she's popping me for an ultrasound. I'm overweight, so I half expected her not to find it and she isn't acting nervous, but I am! I'll come back to update! Sitting here waiting to go back now.

    First OB appointment today... Hoping to hear the heartbeat, not excited for the beginning of months of stepping on the scale. lol.

    Good luck today, ladies!

       Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
    Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.
    ~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~
    New RE June 2014. RPL b/w - negative. SIS looking for uterine/cervical abnormalities & Asherman's 6/10/14 - ALL CLEAR!  
    Cycle 16: Natural IUI = CP, Cycle 17: Femara (2.5) + IUI = BFN, Cycle 18 Femara (5) + IUI = BFFN, Cycle 19: Break
    Cycle 20: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP EDD 6/20, transvaginal cerclage 12/19, Carson Quinn born sleeping at 16w3d on 1/6/15 due to IC
    Phone consult with Dr. Haney (Univ of Chicago) for transabdominal cercalge scheduled for 2/9/15.

    Update!: I was just going to edit my original post, but if I do that, I can't AW and add my newest picture! Everything is fine. Fergus is in there and doing happy Fergus things. Heartbeat is about 165/166- I was so relieved that I can't remember exactly what she said! I was kind of holding my breath until we got in there and saw that first twitch. They were trying to get measurements, but at first "he" was kind of curled up in there not cooperating. Great, we've got a stubborn one on our hands! Then he stretched out nice and long and arched his back. Got to see that precious little flicker of a heartbeat, as well.  :x It's amazing how much has changed in four weeks! Sorry for the picture of a picture, I know it's a little blurry. Oh, and my doctor's office cuts all of your info off of the top before they even give you the pictures, so that's pretty awesome of them!

    Had my NT scan this morning and everything looked good! Waiting on blood results of course but the numbers on the scan were perfect. The baby was in the exact easiest position to measure and after the measurements it was dancing around and being generally entertaining. I get my anatomy scan in 6 weeks. Can't wait!

    I have my third appointment today at 11 weeks. I can't wait to see my LO again and see how much he/she has grown! I am also getting my genetic testing done today - we've been told we will get the results back in time for Christmas - I'm super excited to know if it's a boy or a girl  :) That's the best Christmas present ever!

I asked them to please tell me what phone calls were regarding before leaving me a vague message! Cerclage is perfect-off of pelvic rest already and heard the heartbeat. Next appt in 3 weeks but no ultrasound until 20 weeks.
    Awesome news! Thanks for the update and I'm glad there was a lot of drama for nothing!

    ETA- I'm sorry you had the drama part, but I'm happy about the nothing was wrong part!

    I had my first ultrasound for my screening but the baby was bigger than expected and we are further along than we thought. So they wouldn't take my blood and my due date went from the 18th to the 9th

    My appt went as I expected, diagnosed with GD. Boo. But it's my second time around the block with GD and I know what to do, just a frustrating bump in the road but as long as it stays controlled all will be okay!

    NT scan was "perfect"! Baby didn't want to cooperate much (it did an entire flip in there while we were watching, which was adorable!) but we got the measurements needed.

    One of the coolest things was that the sonographer kind of poked/jiggled the baby and it totally jumped. Reflexes!

    Second appointment for me :) it was pretty tame, we were offered medical testing and other boring things.. but then we got to hear our LO's heartbeat! Silly little baby was moving so much it took a while to count beats per minute ♡

    Had my first ultrasound yesterday as well and felt so much relief to see that fluttering heart and the baby jumping and kicking. Even did a little head, shoulders, knees, and toes routine for us and rolled over to face us at one point. Measured exactly on schedule and NT measurement was 1.3mm, so everything looked good. So happy and relieved!

    Second appointment here, doctor tried using the doppler to listen for babys hb,but baby was moving to much, so we got an ultrasound. SO was so excited to see baby move, it was adorable. We got our first results back from the genetic testing and so far so good!
